It’s amazing how much loss we can adjust to if the process is gradual enough.

Lashes of pang whip me
Bleeding like torn firefly-
Harsh the spoils from untold regrets
And wound's dressing can't soothe,
The mesh of threadbare gauze
Fragile as my wing --in bondage.
