Gauze

Lashes of pang whip me
Bleeding like torn firefly-
Harsh the spoils from untold regrets
And wound's dressing can't soothe,
The mesh of threadbare gauze
Fragile as my wing --in bondage.

Great imagery in this one. A most interesting choice of fabric too. Congrats.

Norma, what kind of fabric can we use to cover the pain in our soul? Gauze seems appropriate, nice write.
