Jane was the fastest girl in her small town
By age sixteen she'd been passed all around
      Jane went dancing one night
Drank way too much, got tight

The Olympics : Faster Than the Fastest

Fastest,Highest and Strongest a moment’s story,
Citius ,Altius ,Forius – a better story of Olympic glory.
Bolt ,Ukhov and Hafez the greatest of achievers
Are only miniature images in the Olympic rings.

March of Athens to London-2012 is over
Yet for another  city the  torch to  twitter;
Track and pace exploring new horizons
Faster,Higher and Stronger as solutions.

The colours of all nations closely intertwine ,
Nations fall ,nations rise,the glories only shine;
Olympics preaches the dignity of participation
Run jump and lift to make life a competition .

Nobody is the strongest only stronger prevails ,
Nobody is the fastest , time better unveils .21.08.2012

The Flash - the Fastest Man In the World

Jerry Garcia singing on the radio
urges us to "Come Hear Uncle John's band by the riverside"
Night wraps its arms around me
   City lights shine and
are reflected in my eyes
Drums beat slowly as does the heart
Garcia sings "He's come to take his children home"
Soft laughter and my mind
Feels a heavy sense of peace

Fastest Limerick Man In the West

Fastest Limerick Man in the West

There was a young man was always up for test
Produced great limericks that rhymed the very best
Some said he had wrote stupor
or maybe had great humor
He definitely stole funnies from the west.

Fastest Living Thing

A swift running athlete, on two fleet-feet,
Runs twenty miles an hour.
A galloping horse runs a faster course;
His hoofs a pounding power.

Still faster is the deer traveling in fear.
At fifty he looks around,
To see a cheetah display seventy to catch its prey.
He’s the fastest four-footer found.

For greater speeds, the sky favors fowls that fly,
With vultures venturing ninety.
Alas, the golden eagle, sleek and regal,
zooms to one-twenty, looming mighty.

But the falcon hawk, ballistic trim, lets gravity work for him
In a vertical dive.
His feathers fairly whistle, for he’s a flying missile—
at one-sixty, the fastest thing alive!

Premium Member I Choose the Fastest Looking Horse

I CHOOSE THE FASTEST LOOKING HORSE
MUSCULAR YET SLEEK IN SHAPE
WITH A FIXED LOOK OF DETERMINATION
A BODY OF BRIGHT COLORS
AND A SADDLE AND BLANKET TO MATCH

I HOLD ON TIGHT
THE CAROUSEL MOVES
AROUND AND AROUND
THE MUSIC CONTINUOUSLY PLAYS ON
AS MY HORSE GOES UP AND DOWN IN PLACE

THE WORLD AROUND ME CONTINUES TO CHANGE
I KIND OF SEE IT
VIEWING IT AT A TANGENTIAL ANGLE
FROM THE CORNER OF MY HORSE
FROM THE CORNER OF MY EYE

AS I GO AROUND AND AROUND
AT A CONSTANT SPEED
THE WORLD SEEMS TO MOVE
IN A CHAOTIC WAY
I HOLD ON TIGHT

I PULL ON THE REINS
AND I AND EVERYTHING AROUND ME
SEEMS TO COME TO A HALT
EXCEPT THE WORLD
WHICH SEEMS TO BE OUT OF CONTROL
AND MOVES ON

I'M the Fastest

I’ve had to work a little harder down at the council yard,
and by gee I’m glad it’s time for knocking off.
Had to fix Andy’s broken shovel handle - he leaned a little hard,
and ‘Occa’ took the day off with a cough.

I never stopped to have a yarn down at the local pub,
‘cause I was flamin’ tired from over-work.
Had to put the foot down in the truck; dumping dirt out in the scrub.
Missed my arvo ‘smoko’ and my normal weekday lurk.

I was feeling pretty savage when I walked through my door.
Heard the arguing inside my young bloke’s room.
I put my ear a little closer to hear what they’re yelling for -
unprepared for what’s about to loom.

Sydney Parkes had made a statement, saying that his Dad,
was the fastest man that’s ever been around.
He could throw a stone then run after it like mad,
and catch the rock before it hit the ground.

Well I gave a little chuckle; not loud enough for them to hear.
Then listened to young Rodney; son of the local mayor,
when he said that might be fast, but it is nowhere near,
the speed my Dad is known for everywhere.

He can climb a skyscraper; stand on the roof and throw a glass,
hard as he can into the open air.
Then he’ll run down the stairs and be waiting on the grass,
catching it before it smashes there.

That lifted up my eyebrows; I wondered what was coming now,
‘cause that was fast the three of them agreed,
then my young bloke made me proud by mentioning somehow,
his Dad was faster than the sound of speed.

I wondered what I’ve done then he sent me into shock,
when the other boys all had to agree.
They said I was the fastest, ‘cause I knocked off work at four o’clock,
yet I could be home at half past three!

Might not get another chance again.

The 12 Point 12 Secs Fastest Woman Alive

THE 12.12 SECS FASTEST WOMAN ALIVE

Life exudes in it's harshest of complexities:
I have built this machine with bleeding hands,
shaped her to slice the wind,
shined her as melanin with polish and sweat,
balanced her with feel in the cold chill
and powered her in heat with iron and steel.
I will become one with her and give her honor.
She will mount the wind like the Falcon.
She will learn speed from the Cheetah
and know no fear for this is where her spirit is free.

So I put on my running shoes.
Tonight I can't hide as I pace myself, breathing,
Letting go with every stride.
The melody of my footsteps and rhythm of my breaths,
Have synchronized into nothing in the past;
A calm stillness inside my head says "...but not now!"
I'm light as a feather so I let myself fly.
The world is a blur, but tonight... I'm alive!!!
On our marks, my competitors hits the track.
Rocketing away as the wind hits our bodies,
The blistering wind slaps our faces enroute the finish line,
We run with every throttle twist taken in time.
I shaved 0.08 secs off the previous 100m hurdles world record
set by Kendra Harrison (12.20s) in 2016.
Now I'm the world champion standing tallest,
And tears start to cascade from my eyes,
The National anthem reminded me:
"The labour of our heros past shall never be in vain..."
But now I'm the hero and my labour has paid off.

“My mum would tell my dad I was going to church
...I sneaked to practice or tell him I was going to a school debate
while I went to an out-of-state competition...", I reminisce.
But my father's ferocious fury couldn't fright me,
“My dad got really mad...when he found out (I was running),
burnt all my training gear and told mum
that’s the last time he wanted to see me in a stadium."
Thinking back how swiftly those years passed by,
I close my eyes and bite my lip, try so hard not to cry.
"Arise Oh Compatriots, Nigeria's call obey": The rest is history.

You were always such a scrapper, a raging thunderstorm -
Tobi Amusan, our pride, a phenomenon without measure,
Record breaker, pacesetter & Inter(National) hero.
Stay steadfast...follow the simmering sun
And undoubtedly be the best you can.

as Niger becomes
the fastest African economic
growth in three months
of the  new government,
nigeriens see importance
of their rise.
As Niger will be
the 4th fastest economic
growth in the World in 2024,
many Africans see
 the importance to destroy
 neo-colonisation.
