Because such is life

People with their dogs
People with their cats
Falling off a log
Slipping on a mat.

Smoking cigarettes
Breathing selfishness
Sport heroes largess
Demonic effectiveness.

Misunderstood opinion
Nail in a tyre
Tears from an onion
Smoke from a fire.

Pains in the neck
Patience always tried
Useless getting upset
Because such is life.

An Age Old Axiom

Some things in life are like falling off a log Like eating and sleeping, like walking in a fog Cept some days fall short It's then we must resort To the age old axiom, “A squeeky wheel annoys the dog!”

Her Voice Faintly Heard

Listen to nature as she sings a tune…
Of the mournful cry of a passing loon
Of a croaking frog in a soggy bog
Of splashing turtles falling off a log
Of the sound of leaves rustling in a breeze
Of fruit as it thuds when it falls from trees
Of rushing brooks racing towards waterfalls
You should hear all of these when nature calls
Her symphony heard since the dawn of time
She dictates the rhythm, dictates the rhyme
But man, in his greed has stifled her voice
Some took the wrong path when given a choice.

Forests are thinning, and waters run dry
Her voice faintly heard, and we wonder why!

Easy As Falling Off A Log

J-ust easy as falling off a log,
E-verything is simple to do;
S-o smooth to operate,
S-o soft to handle too.
A-s easy as falling off a log,
M-oving on isn't difficult;
A-fter the heartache and pain,
E-yes glow with the result.

O-n the twenty-fourth of July,
R-ising sun clears the fog;
I-n just a few minutes,
E-asy as falling off a
L-og.
