Best Eons Poems
I have been sequestered amongst the desert sands
like the Israelites before they claimed Canaan
Wandering about right beside my homeland
All for some kind of cosmic lesson or training
The unsatisfying, brackish water of this cactus
Has given me just enough energy to walk a little more
Yet I feel this is all prologue; it is merely practice
So I wave to Zacchaeus as I climb the sycamore
From such lofty heights I can see a formidable plateau
On which most men sit back and rest on their laurels
I hear the legato breaking the walls around Jericho
Likewise, I hear the Pharisees speaking about morals
I see a man scribbling something odd in the dirt
And abruptly everyone holding stones drops them and flees
I see freedom from bondage with but a few words
And I see myself rise above by dropping to my knees
Finally, I see all the world aflame and begging for another Flood
I see Two Lampstands standing before God and the earth
Many could have been saved if they had just washed in the Blood
But they new only of value and nothing of worth

~Eons~
Rip me open and try to find where I hide, this dimly little light of mine
My hidden heart and the darkness inside is all consuming this soul of mine.
I guarantee you’ll turn away
Or perhaps you’ll be the one who stays.
So many have claim they are not like before
And yet I am shackled behind a lock the door.
I am far from typical as you can see,
Not one person influences me.
I walk alone and always have,
Like a Constant perpetual sad.
eons of suffering I feel to my bones,
symbolically and systematically
walking alone. ~JAZ~

Ballad
America is our location
Of impending vocal frustration
From the people it's congregation
When they speak one feels deliberation
For our need for conversation
Highlighted by desperation
Some help from the corporations
For jobs and future generations
But they offer no explanation
The rich are in discrimination
Before we become a divided nation
Be saviours, be our salvation
For our politics it's constipation
No toilet roll for their application

Eons passed
I look at the world
through crystal eyes
seeing many reflections
of the people I have been
time weaving trails of wandering memories
deep in the dark empty space …
on the windswept edge of a great fresh lake
I balance on the razor edge of fate
falling, falling, down into the tunnel of life
downward
awaiting an opening on the other side
of life
The other side of life.

** In Spirit with Trees **
I feel sad, feeling a kind of tragedy
When I see that a storm
has broken…
has felled trees.
Grass everywhere green, rises.
Flowers splendidly gracing…And
Blessed crops progress us all… But,
The fig, olive, walnut, willow, ash, and magnolia —
The palm, maple, oak, redwood, and evergreen —
The any and every kind of tree affect me,
As I breathe and dearly perceive.
I must confide, my curiosity
about trees has deepened
Since decades ago, when I read
some Japanese folklore
Tells of the believing their ancestors
Could remain here becoming spirits in trees.
That idea — plus the knowledge about how eons of trees
evolved since their days amidst the dinosaurs —
Has
…increased my awe of them, as I see
growth and strength for purposes, and to possibly
inspire as towering sillouhettes against the sky…
Beautifully awakening wonder, with a mysterious
Sensing
Trees may stand waiting communicate.

Forever
The Days are young
And the thoughts are evergreen
Imbedded within a body precious
Forever, we say for eons to come
Forever we are
For we are born Beautiful

We shall overcome, a theme we've heard for years
We must live undeterred in spite of our fears
Smile and move on
Sing happy songs
Plot may be different but grab yourself by the rear

Limerick
I love you as freely as the wind blows.
I love you as much as God's heavenly
Rainbows. I love you as much as the
Earth's greenest grass grows.
I love you with an everlasting love.
I freely love you as I do the Holy
Sprite's white doves of peace
And tranquility,
I love you and wish for the
Sea of Tranquility. I love so
Much as you walk besides
Me on the white sandy shores.
I love how you take me by
My hand. And lead and guide
Me into your heavenly promise
Land!
I will love you throughout the
Vast eons of time. I daily
Praise the Lord you are everlasting
Really mine. I will praise and
I will honor you with my psalms
Of love and devotion.
I love you and someday I shall behold
Your face and I will forget my disgrace.
My sins have vanished with the wind.
Never to be remember no more!
I will spend all of eternity in
Your awesome holy presence!
Love in Christ Jesus!

Born into light
Eons ago, the foundation was fractured
everything built upon it
was destined to angle down
I tried to build upon it anyhow
go big or go home my mantra
I fabricated blueprints for a mansion
I was granite poor but pastel rich
so, I built it with conglomerate.
Midlife-earning stripes
I ran short of ingredients
the rain and grit slipping in...relentless
the half mansion wobbles in the wind
The blueprint is tattered and weeps...
the hourglass stained with cheap mascara.
old age
I live in a tent of skins and fatigue
chilled but buffered against the icy wind
Constantly detoxing from negative action and thought.
The bad people are receding into the black trough
slowly the good ones are seeping in.
Rebuilding the foundation with stout stones
praying- to be topped with gems.
Death...

There was a sickly tree
In a barren clearing
In a burning country
On a mourning day.
A wild crown of branches
Haloed by concentric rings;
A rising wave of spires and spindles lashing at the air;
Prismatic infernos leaping forth from in-betweens.
The void is silent.
No voices in clouds.
And the wind is a word that trailed.
Conflagràre.
Conflagràre.
Observe that you are not yourself.
Grey fire licks the skin like lichen.
Observe that this pain is not your own.
Topple to the planar salts
Content in this purifying wisdom:
These eyes that now see;
The eyes that beheld prophecy,
They were never the eyes of me.
Go inward now, forget your breath-
My Toreador, my Hortator.
Close quietly, freed from images-
My Paranoiac, my Metanoiac.
Evaporate beneath the total might of; the depthless, unceasing majesty of
The Absolute World.
Become dust in dust sifting by in the violently churning tempests of
The Grand Cacophony.
What looms is eternity,
What spans is time,
What one string has led
Is the timeless dead,
What an opal holds;
What the water enfolds
Is the history of reality untold.
May a unit of time intone time's fate?
May a sessile whisper collapse into an ascending, crescendoing boom?
May a retrocessive second retool the rules of the seconds' worlds by drawing deep from a pool of unspooling memory?
The leaning tree still stands
On a drifting sea of sands
Casting shadows by night
That stretch away to light.

U. Universally humans: you & I change
N. Nonetheless, we are recognized;
i In cases of distance, U & I remain
T. The same or a pattern unchanged
Y. You & I are but waves in a universe
NOTE: the waves wave at us; they recognize The Pattern that makes you and I the same and different. They have been to-ing and fro-ing for eons, only to dissolve into their essential element. They merely seemed INDIVIDUAL. shalom shalom, Shanthi Om, Eireene, Vrede, Paz, Pace, Tranquilo

EONS OF THE SECRET SOCIETY
In shadows deep, voices in your sleep,
Via symbols cryptic, disguised & ocultic
Some of you say it's a myth,
we hear the whispered lore and oath.
Manipulating minds with more money
And power with fame to embark on the journey.
Mysterious agenda, no retreat, no surrender.
Wrap-up and swallow like the anaconda.
Their influence vast, and control is their motto.
Hidden from prying eyes, you'd be lost infinito,
And by the time you hit the high lotto,
realising what you've gotten yourself into,
it'll be like an ocean drowning you hands-down.
A secret society that governs then & now.
They pull the strings of history's dance,
Controlling nations, with an unseen glance,
Whispered whispers in corridors of might,
Unseen puppet masters, ruling day and night.
The All-Seeing eyes, Devils assigned to each soul,
That is where the horror lies; blood must flow,
Constant offerings and sacrifices,
Shredding their ignorant victims to pieces.
The intriguing illuminati whispered lore,
A tale of secrets, but the truth we ignore.
Alert!!! Hungry soul, it's all but a big trap!!!
Even if you don't hear it in the song or rap:
'Riches in exchange for your soul'.
Wealth & affluence will land you a big blow.
