A Vendor's Life
At times, sleepless nights,
Filled with worry and fears;
The life of a vendor
Means laughter and tears.
Patience and perseverence
Are essential and soon learned.
An exceptional ability to
Try again once burned.
Defeat's not an option;
There's a desire to impress.
Gifted with talents,
And a need to express.
Optimism abounds,
As doubts are chased away;
No time for such thoughts
In a vendor's busy day.
Each day another chance
To attain a new goal.
It seems a vendor's life
Is in the heart and soul.
With so much at stake
so what is the lure?
There's just nothing quite like
being an entrepeneur.
By Lisa Webb
Star-dash cars now zip along the street,
Winking into town,
Awerving like party-colored leaves
Surfing the wind.
Everyone's going going going SOMEwhere!
Gone. Here? Yes!
Straight to the top!
Another perfect day
For another perfect dollar!
Mine! I have nade it!
Now send up flowers
And sky-hearted piano players!
I want clouds to break,
And stars to take,
With craft ever true up-soaring!
Sky, sun, time----won!
Won for the President
Of company ME!
Am I too bold, too free, too loud?
Just wait till I'm more proud!
No, I can't be quiet.
Love, come now, with me, all night!
Today, strum music rifts!
Sound, alive, dance, enjoy!
Today feels happy, lifts
you're poems final envoi.
Shush, quiet, sound shift.
Quite clear, noted cants!
Heard... monks arise... chant!
Folks enjoy life's short
trips, learn, catch today,
stark facts ensue... abort...
you're final peace... delay!
Fears you'll often court!
Quite clear, noted cants!
Heard... monks arise... chant!
Peace stops hates' rants!
Truth, allow... makes peace.
Order hates... cease!
Quite clear, noted cants!
Heard... monks arise... chant!
PEACE
His knees shake, he's feeling weak
His hands tremble and he cannot speak
He got an email early afternoon
It's tax time again - it's much too soon
His accountant queries things long past
But his filing system is not up to task
Bits of paper cover the floor
As he prints reports by the score
He can't remember, his mind won't budge
What he's declared and what he's fudged
IRD is breathing down his neck
Wanting answers now - he is a wreck!
Interest is charged, he is aghast
Late paid penalties are mounting fast
A refund due would be as nice as pie
But it's more likely pigs can fly
Complex tax rules blow his mind....
It's a bloody stressful taxing time
There're a lot of
Strange, funny and weird stories
It's common to be employed as a stuntman in acting
But not to be employed for something evils
But not to be employed as a scapegoat
Maybe a ghost is looking for a substitute
But it's certainly ridiculous
To look for a stand-in for sickness
To look for a stuntman for your fate
Similarly, never take for granted
Never ask for a stuntman in your prayer
Because God has had been a "stuntman"
To die for all mankind on the cross
Didn't you remember
So don't ask for a "stuntman" any more
So don't blame God any more
Avoid Being Employed that Us Annoyed
being employed
we were always annoyed
when they would avoid

I don't get paid by the hour,
I'm employed by a higher power,
Blooming like a flower,
Opening up to empower,
It was never about the dollar,
As I shower my world with wisdom,
Breaking apart the old system,
Abundance comes in with them,
Taught to condemn ourselves,
We keep dreams on shelves,
As we delve into endeavors,
Just to make us feel better,
Work going on forever,
Now looking for pleasure,
Release the pressure,
You are the treasure,
Worthy of your measure,
Grab the tether and pull,
Until your cup gets full.
