Best Embracement Poems

Premium Member A Friend

A friend is like a radio receiver:
fine-tuned to your heart's frequency;
able to decipher its garbled broadcasts,
redacted by embracement, and encrypted by fear.
Ignoring the ubiquitous white noise:
friends, instinctively block out the interference
that prevents others from receiving the
the subtle messages your heart is sending.
Communication is the key to understanding:
understanding and empathy are the keys to friendship.

Change Is the Only Constant

Change is the only constant
In life, we meet some,
Some meet us.
In this odyssey of life, some people stay with us, others leave us.
The ones who stays are ought to be those who care for us,
And those who leave are those for whom we cared for.
In this hustle and bustle of life,
There is only one person whom we thing won’t ever change.
But how can one be so sure about it,
When change is the only constant!!

When we meet people,
We are not aware of the fact that
We may meet someone,
Who would become an inseparable part of this life.
When we cross people,
We never even turn back to see if there is someone for us,
But in this marathon of life, we find someone special,
Whom we feel as a friend,
A consoler and a confider.
We try to find everything in that person.
Once we are sure that we won’t ever lose him,
The next moment we realise,
But how can one be so sure about it,
When change is the only constant!!

Well! It’s not when you fall for someone,
It’s when you become serious for the one,
It’s when the smile of that person you feel is your divine.
It’s when you start getting obsessed with the person.
It’s when all the above takes place that you realise that oops! I fell in love!
After this, we feel that the person whom we love is everything,
Food, shelter, embracement, everything.
We start trusting our future,
But how can one be so sure about it,
When change is the only constant!!

After love, what hurts the most is when you lose the love.
After changing yourself for someone, you expect the one to change,
But the only things that change are the attitude and rudeness.
Well! Falling in love is easy, a matter of attachments,
Coming out of it is what needs true strength!!

The Ships Have Set Sail

Silently waiting amidst the full moon's sink'd smile,
Farfetch’d upon the grazing winds of steeping mountains,
Seemingly dead eyes, tear’d and wash’d and wash’d,
Flow of glaciers and broken crevasse - a sacred fig, lost?
No. yellow clouds; damn’d of darkness and stemm’d from beyond,
Of ye ol’ doubts and fears - so they say.

L’air is picking up - sails liberated from infinite prisons,
Ships began their ascension, ascension to the fault, to the abyss,
Stocks made up, rum thrown over, over, over.
Sheaths made dull, wanting for shine…
Damn’d after damnation,
Waves still as they are, tides unpleasant as always.

To change; changing; changed.
Deafening, defiling, defining silence.
Light of sight simply without its might.
Files of ‘smiles’ just piles.

Ships set sail…
The precious cargo along with them,
Skimm’d across the silver fishes,
Port’s empty now. Quiet. Desolate. Barren.
Left stranded have we been,
However with riches of the Brunei King,

Yet - oil need not be of laughter,
Gold need not be embracement if neither warmth,
Lost? My boy? Follow the Southern Wind.
Puppetry at hand. obedient.
Don’t linger too long here mon ami.
Ils sont déjà partis…the ships have set their bearings.

Alors, look cross past the laden horizon,
A new sun - new day - new life,
Prospectors alike seen this,
A half-turn, and panoramic views,
I’ve left of my memories and thoughts - no more, no less.
And look, a new sun, a new day, a new life.

The Brightest Star

Extending my arms, I arose
I stood, reaching on my tiptoes
to grasp the brightest star
in the distance afar
magical rainbow transpose

Mystifying and strange happenings
developing wings and rising
excitement that astound
I spread my arms spellbound
embracing the star that is sparkling

Magnificent glow in the night skies
nearer the star I had to close my eyes
the brighter it became
I overcame the flame
grasping a peace in my heart that defies

Suddenly caressed like an infant
experiencing warmth, reverent
ambience of heaven
my eyes slowly open
in the Lord’s loving embracement

With His profound loving presence
bound to believe my continuance
life affairs imperative
I need to go back and live
with Lord blessed strength and endurance

Self-Portrait of Prayers

Self-portrait of prayers

Millions of soul’s prayers and immensity of groans

In human language only as whispering sighs

Torment cannot paint an ancient longing

Even a word is not tempting the Lord, neither tonight

Please Lord, help the children

Bring me more of mother’s fragrance

Words of father sculpt in my forehead wrinkles

On my lips let me kiss the love of sisters

Do not sent away century embracement of my brother

Feed my grandchildren with letters and knowledge

Friends and the tribe cover me only with prosperity

Oh Lord of mine, cover humanity with more goodness

I remained locked in my loneliness, oh Lord

I don’t know a self-portrait even tomorrow,

Cannot redo nor today

An Angel in Disguise

Speak of Love, of the heart at birth.
Cherishing tenderness and attachment.
Friendship, enveloped with courage, and no burden.
A magnificent creature of the earth
Sent not broken, a beacon chosen
To a Guardian Angel's embracement.

The Kiss (Challenge James Fraser Your Next)

Sweaty palms grasp face,
slowly dive till lips are met.
Succulent, tender,
   embracement of flesh.
Exploring tongue reaching out,
   gracing teeth with tease.

Smiles develop, as
chills run down spines, passion flows.
Thoughts distant with a
   lovers stare, deeply
   engulfed within the moment.
Preparing for more.

Faces together,
   heat from breath filling nostrils.
Lips meeting again,
   passion, desire,
   overwhelming emotions.
Tongues begin tango.

Dancing together,
   beautifully orchestrated,
   as bodies lay still.
Time lost within self,
   as moment carries away,
   now complete and whole.

"look At Our Picture, We Are Gone Forever"

Beautiful, how we burn, sweet, how we scream, horizon, what we build, look at it now, is falling
down, dead less feelings covering mental capacity, dying to build up a wall were the enemy will
not cross, but a lifetime is not enough for the work we desire, i love the way you scream to me,
but i feel i want to destroy you, dismember you and bury your remains, ashes? Sympathy walks
with me and ha no meaning, i don't need sympathy, not today, not morrow, not again, is not i
will but i must, is not my game but im playing still, the hater of the agony will back off before I
explode, inside a system, what system? No, i can't understand what is going on, help us! Not
tonight, not today, sun becomes dark while the moon freezes the heavens with cold
embracement, is gone, trought the tomb of our parents, but i was told another story, does it
change history? Help! I need help here, im lost and i don't understand this hell, can't open my
eyes but the light is making e blind, i don't see trought the hollow bottle but i know there's some
one on the other side, confusion swallows a mind of horror, is here, is now, is later, were is the
throne of hades! Were is crecious! Give us back our soul, but who fought alongside me, i don't
know, place help me now, please explain to me what the world never seen, give me everything,
but leave me poor, i want to die here, but please help me run, away, were the sun will not burn,
were the moon will not freeze, hell is light, haven is lighter, but i want hell a place i can rest in
freedom, but heaven is lighter were the eternity seems coldly calm in bliss, freedom is spread
on agony, i don't understand this, either do you, how do i see when my eyes are sewed by the
enemy, how do i scream when my voice is acid burned, how do i hear when all i know is an
eternal scream, but i still know what happen to the world we once knew...

Stand By Me

Like a breath,
So short is the life of man.
Shall you make this little time of mine worthwhile?
I know nothing,
Will you teach me?
Shall your patience not run out in my presence ?
I always try,
Shall you endure and your smile egg me on ?
When my vulnerable heart is hurt,
Will I see your tears?
When they see me fall,
Will your hand raise me?
They never gave me a chance to express myself ,
Will you let me be me?
Like seasons mistakes always fall upon,
the life of every man,
When I confess,
Will you find a place in your heart for me ?
Life is all about trials,
If I fail,
Shall your cloth wipe off my tears?
With every effort,
Will I make you proud?
They always tell me I am nothing,
Am I something in your presence?
When the shadows of death surround me,
Shall I see daylight in your eyes?
When I call out,
Will you be the first to answer in the morning?
If I win,
Will you be my first embracement?
In my despair,
Will you still care?
When I am homeless,
Will your heart be open for me?
When they blame me,
Shall my objection stand by you?
In my struggles,
Will you be my hero?
My lonely heart,
Will its void be filled with you?
When about to fall,
Will you hold on me strong?
When they see darkness in me,
Will you see light somewhere?
In chaos,
Will my heart find peace in you?
In my absence,
Will you feel lonely?
When they ask,
Will you be my answer?
When I am hopeless,
Will you be my hope?
Will your prayers mention my name?
Will I be the weakness of your heart?
Will your heart choose me always?
Are we to see tomorrow together?
Will my happiness be your happiness?
Shall my sorrow be your belonging?
Are we to share the same world?

Therapy

Therapy
You grow eager to help the weak growing high off seeing their pleasing effort of your work and embracement. Doing drill after drill eventually becomes troubling and to some may seem dumb, but with the effort you will make it through lives maze not coming to crumble. So, all I can say, is pray your therapy gives you and others the encouragement to survive the twisting life lines and doubts. Having the help gives us the power to show and prove what counts and what can come out of therapy. The beauty will show at St. Joes as the workers help the weak and the patients come to revive.

Legacy

They say poetry is irrelevant in our generation,
The underground genre’s embracement.
Literature is now a part of the digital age
Is what they claim it.
They look at today's pop culture
Which takes most the blame.
I must say there is no shame expressing my game;
To think different is all that I'm saying.
It's time to prove past generations wrong
That we still have intelligence.
The dawn of a new age in which we will make it known.
Giving the 21st century of what they want and need.
They say our generation lacks knowledge
I guess because of our music.
We lack art, we’re too ignorant,
It's like an empty bottle with no fluids.
Is art truly dead?
That true art that aims for the head?
That art that hits your body and soul,
Would they care to listen to stories untold?
Is it possible that I make myself relevant,
Like past great artists before me?
Making myself known as a future legend for later.
Is it possible to be wise as Solomon
And use my poetry for inspiration?
Perhaps I can reminisce to Langston Hughes and Maya Angelou
Connecting my poetic style to a Hip Hop basis;
Connecting from my spirit to my Afrocentricity.
Or maybe what I'm saying is a bunch of crap with no persuasion.
Maybe our generation is too dumb, calling us the dumb age.
Screw that…
I'm not dumbing it down because of my complexion.
My verse will come at em hard like I’m flexin’.
I'm way too deep to think small instead I aim for the highest.
I swear I will make my name great because it's more than just art...
It's about legacy.

Live In My Heart

Live in my heart
And possess my soul,
Adding chapters to lover`s tales never told.
Many could preach about
How tight they hold,
But this I see till the time we`re old.

Live in my heart
Where true love lies,
Where embracement and kisses
At once hypnotize.
My thoughts your thoughts
At one in twine,
Lips to lips
But both hard to find.

Live in my heart
And you`ll see my love,
True love...a sweet love,
Is what I have for you
And only you my love.

Could It Be a Endless Memory?

I miss your smile that use to cover my heart with love,
And the morning kisses that blow my mind away,
And the endless dreams that could never be
That’s why I still love you,
Memory of the Past

The waves are still white
The skies are still blue
The flowers are still blooming
That’s why I still love you
Memory of the Past

We use to run the fearless joy of love
And the embracement of our youth
The lingering for excitement
That’s why I still love you
Memory of the Past

And if our path may cross again
Like 2 ships in the opposite directions
Please accept my short coming in live
That is why I still love you
Memory of the Past

The days are still endless
My mind is slipping away
Your face had faded,
But why do I still feel the longing of a memory
That is still carving in my mind so vividly?
