Like sweet cotton candy
are my flowers light pink
no one slips on them
nor do they stink

Schnookums, your cat
enjoys her window seat
eyeing birds in my arms
and I feel so complete

We go back many years
you've watched me grow
now I'm tall as the house
you love me -- I know

I beg you keep this in mind
(don't wish to cause hysteria)
but I noticed days were numbered
for the neighbor's chopped plumeria

So please don't cut me down
like next door's unblooming tree
Look at me! I'm in bloom! :-)
Pray, just let me be

Premium Member The Truth Defends What's Right

Killing the future, where is the humane values in that
poor soul your hate has an unusual way of trying to get of subject
How sad you are and evilly branding a person unjustly
firstly falsely accusing, says an awful lot about you as a person
defending the right to kill attacking is all you know
a bully of the worst kind

Your surname is not Irish firstly get that straight
I am from the tribes of the north
a true gale that holds the shamrock
this is the island of my ancestors, nothing racist about the truth

A hetrophobic attack detesting a real man
for none other than standing up for the innocent blood spilled
speaking the truth correctly cast not this fiction garbage
your attacking human life and I am a father

God be merciful to your soul I pray
because there is not a racist bone in my body
turn it which ever way you want to suit
half Irish supporting killing, says it all to me
Ripping little babies to pieces
take a long hard look in the mirror,
your ancestors would turn in their graves

I pity you with your branding irons
you really have no brain in this
life begins in the womb knowledge
has a funny way of separating opinions
what has religion got to do with it, nothing,
your beating a dead horse people can see whom you support

The dark side so filled with hate towards another human being
calling names amounts to your kind saying it kindly
if the law where doing their job properly,
you should be arrested for hurling hate and abuse

Mentally challenged talking about bottles
every word you have written, is documented evidence
we see your kind everyday attacking peaceful people

Every single word you have written comes from the fork of your beliefs
do not make a mockery of others this foolish behaviour,
because in the end your knees will bend,
you should be reported for hate speech
freedom has different values for some

Rana's Legion Defends

Barbarians had won the city and slain all there
burned it down after stripping it completely bare
From the Holy city of Rome orders quickly flew
destroy these invaders now, your legion and you

Ten days hard march with never a long or great rest
no complaints for Rana's legion were always the best
Two weeks out chasing the savage barbarian horde
led by its barbaric , tall and savage murdering Lord

Time was very near because the trail was so very hot
Rana knew the enemy would pick their very best spot
Five more days racing forward at steady, deadly paces
soon legionnaires would see their enemy's wicked faces

Following day the huge enemy camp was found
across vast plains at base of a rocky mound
Rana rested his legionnaires just before the big fight
weapons ready , his brave men without any fright

Sun burst forth with a wicked gleam in it's light
legion ever so ready and looking so very bright
Rana checked each and every eager fighting man
reminding all of his clever winning battle plan

Spearmen six deep center of the advancing van
splitting right and left upon his first command
Archers firing quick volleys from fifty yards behind
raining down destruction upon enemy's failing line

Sounding horn sending in central reserves eager to slay
enemy routed by the power legion sent into the deadly fray
As Rana commanded his swordsmen to hack the enemy apart
find the tall leader and cut out his wickedly, black heart

Savage brutes tossed away their weapons and began to run
legionnaires raced forward cutting them down having fun
Rana came upon the savage Lord fighting upon the mound
rushed upon him so very quickly without making a sound

A cut to his left leg just below his unprotected knee
a jab into his chest as the brute turned to flee
Off with his hairy head as blood so freely flowed
victory won, the pride of the legion so fairly glowed

Rana's legion finished off the barbaric wounded where they lay
stripping all the bodies of weapons and spoils the very next day
Marching back to the garrison proudly to be richly rewarded there
each and every man to receive the bloody war booty, his fair share!

My brothers, sisters, all of this I’ve seen
As every day across the sky I’ve been.
Whilst you have watched the flowers gleam and grow,
‘Twas I that held the lamp that made them so.
And I have wept for regions, now despoiled,
Where I have shown my strength, and you have toiled.
Yet we, who know so well the careless void,
Cannot destroy Creation, though annoyed.
And we who swore to fill the empty cup
Must never be the ones to break it up!
My brothers, sisters, let us not forget
That reason rides but roughly them as yet.
If reason’s lower facets were a tool
To better arm the base and blundering fool
There’s yet a cooling calm within this jewel.
Perhaps as they shall peer into its glow,
Perhaps the pull of peace they’ll better know.
And they shall give their substance to a thought,
And bask within its glories, as they ought;
And find it dwells in peace: in turmoil, not.
My brothers, sisters, give me leave to seek,
To yet pursue our dream, however weak.
For we who see the furthest have most kin,
And we must raise, not lower, those who sin!
As reason served as reason’s ruin, well said.
Yet reason shall by reason’s ruin be fed.
For I shall send my student ‘midst their throngs,
The scholar Chiron, who all learning longs,
And through his reason, shall we right their wrongs.
For teachers are the torch the gods may send,
Whose patient light, the wounds of darkness mend;
Who, but they bring beginnings, there be end.

They build them up with our blood
We excused and let them go
Without taking back our own blood

Premium Member FAITH IN GOD WHO DEFENDS US

August 4 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Isaiah 31-34

Key Verse – Isaiah 31:5 As birds flying, so will the Lord of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it.

FAITH IN GOD WHO DEFENDS US

God defends us from hurt’s fury
With His strength and peace of victory
Causing our faith to conquer worry
For our thanksgiving toward His glory.

God defends us from guilt’s attack
With His forgiveness of sins so heavy at our back
Causing our faith to strive along holiness-track
For our sanctification with His cleansing pack.

God defends us from pride’s fury
With His meekness of humbleness-might
Causing our faith to do what is right
For our testimony with praise-delight.

God defends us from filthiness’ corruption
With His guidance toward our preservation
Causing our faith to persist in truth-instruction
For our determination along virtuous transformation.

God defends us from mockery’s rising
With His precepts in subduing iniquity’s cursing
Causing our faith to increase by His Word’s pressing
For our steadfastness against trials that are oppressing.

God defends us from sorrows’ difficulties
With His comfort against insecurities
Causing our faith to cleave toward His promises’ verities
For our stewardship that bear fruits by His assured certainties.

God defends us from challenges’ pain
With His presence along our prayer-terrain
Causing our faith to persist despite temptation strain
For our triumph in serving Him with His favor’s gain.

Aether Defends

Anticipation ends
as creation begins
Before chasing the words
you must first know the wind
Direction predestined
on zephyrs ordained
Each gust but a phrasing
of verse unproclaimed

A breeze or a tempest
in a cyclone of hail
In sunshine or clouded
they come to regale
Those moments that matter
that time would suspend
Once spoken eternal
— and Aether defends
