Oh! this cry that aches my heart,
folded fist, the size of my pie
kick,kick..I just can't fight,
this swaddling cloth beside my thigh.

Sssssh... and I'll sing you a lullaby,
Christmas carol or ocean drive,
kick,kick...oh! I cannot fight,
this swaddling cloth before my eyes.
