Cares pull my spirits down
Always force me, ‘wear a frown’
I heard, “You’ll in darkness drown;
For weeds in you are also sown.”

Seeds like unknown fear and worry
Sprouted in my nursery bed of merry
On watering, I nourished misery
Unable to differentiate their finery

Gradually grew seeds called health and wealth
But sorrow and sufferings sapped its strength
I battled and struggled to save my breath
Expecting someone to fill my heart with mirth

With this frame of mind
No way of escape I could find
On reaching office, I read this thought
Recited it several times in my heart

That every sad day
Is followed by a glad day
As a team we discussed the layout
Of a very important handout

Green is good and soothes the eye
Yellow and black never get an instant goodbye
Red and navy blue give a professional look
Lavender or sky blue, gets anyone on hook

Everyone suggested a hue
And it granted me a cue
Of great surprise among a few
That if colors carried a clue

Of a top secret message
Then I remembered a passage
For this world Jesus is the true light
Who makes the face of any man bright

He’ll weed and make me alright
My life like aroma will ascend in His sight
If each and every shade
That Almighty has made

Reflects God, as a mighty tower
And also expounds His awesome power
Unique His way of having seen my form
Being formed in womb like a worm

Fearful yet surprise filled is His greatness
I wonder and move about carrying His likeness

Standing, At Heaven's Door

There is a season be all things aneath this sun....
Knowing tis not the time for romance whileas standing
Upon that the edge of her world; peering intently into it's truth ?
America's commander in chief spending half his term attending memorials
Battling the white wolf with poisoned fangs hollow words better, a refrain
Then serving ghost one cannot behold their generations ? This prince..
Waxing gross time's toast traveling to as from lifting, your bitter cup ? His
Broken bows catering unto hope's own demise; shifting sands scripted shards
Of emerald glass these eyes ? An abomination, fallen from her stars; cryptogram
Sitting atop tomorrow's pendulum this temple set aflame; a portent ? Omega's child.

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

Love and Poetry

Words from the start, mold from my heart into creativity
Adjectives and verbs paint a vivid picture of you in my poetry
Word play mixed with emotions is in everything I write
A love deeper than the deepest oceans recite into the night!

It is a thirst that each stanza, each verse comes from within
At first, I figured it a curse that a love like this could only be sin
But I did not tire, your love had me on a wire, writing these melodies
A burning desire on fire inside can only be released in my poetry!

So, here I am. No cryptogram in this style of writing
To have you smile makes this piece worthwhile, so exciting!
We are forever and you will never get enough of me
What I write into the night is eternally, love and poetry!!!

Premium Member Life's Heavy Weight

Mundane life, so routine, so conditional, so mutational
Has me feeling like I carry a weight with me
On my soul, on my heart, in my intentions,
In my choices, on the very essence of my fate!

Mundane life, so boring, has me smiling and closing my eyes
In the silence of the darkness that closes in on me
While dreaming of the power acting behind me
Pray, wish I to decipher its cryptogram
So that I may feel as light as air
Carefree, without the weight that accompanies me!

Mundane life appeals not to me,
I see no aim in living it
Other than finding and holding the hands of
The other part of my soul
Meant to accompany on the journey towards Eternity!

Pray, mundane life, so totally chaotic
Expects us to behave with it, like robots
With the will to keep on toiling
As if such were all that matter in life
And having the desire to keep on surviving
Whatever happens to us and to our surroundings!

From the mundane life wish I to be saved, of course,
After having accomplished my share of duties
Why, being a free spirit can be quite stinging!

Not Anybody

Sun was setting over the cacti and critiques.
A cryptogram said, dignity first without
any damage to faithful aloneness. Protection
was not sacrifice, you have to plummet from a cliff.

A plaque has no mortality. The pressing of
lips places pain ahead of hope. The smiles
have a coercive expedience. I become voiceless
in a delirium of hooves.Sex green death opens

a door. Fear of feathers surprises, would
not measure the sky. Bound by winds the giant
trees search for the soil. Any grass can send

the butterflies. The bald piston throws the
blood on the spikes. Spiders are unwinding
by kisses. Beds are empty.

Cryptogram

What conundrum lies under life's foxy rinds
That even the most adept eye seldom finds?
The surgeon's knife removes the outer coat
To see hard lids that mask the whole report.

Keenest pilots only fly far above the riddle
That fiercest submarines bypass beneath.
Your most bookish attorney all so discreet,
Skips the arcane page with clamping teeth.

Learned lecturing geeks with dense lenses on,
Awfully ruin that stealthy paradox's silent tone.
And though brainy engineers quite close come,
The lupine puzzle leaves them guessing dumb.

World's award-winning pens deal it a dismal try.
They weave airy scenes bereft of reality's touch:
With grisly folios wherein fictitious actors cry,
With thievish knaves who glut in clamiest loot.

Even the deepest learning by bipedaled types,
Shall not unearth existence's inscrutable lipes.

Lyric Micro Essay Masquerades As Odd Poetic Story

Mild dystopian cracks open

Leaf

Look! Every leaf is a curve in a greater circle
winding inward into perfection,
a cryptogram coding a momentary perception.

See the spiral in the spiral?
See the conjunctions,
the branch upon the branch conundrum?
All this arriving together,
unfurling universal connections.

And something else;
all I really know and all I do not understand,
are there In this one fallen leaf.
