If you can work, or go to school.
You will be allowed to. If not
how can you discover a non
spam or get rich scheme.
Promising to solve all of your
financial problems. "You can
earn $10,00 working from home."
I hung up my cell phone two
times.
Mary C. and I wanted to call
our mutual friend, Starshadow.
Who has self quarantined. But
on three occasions the robot
interrupted my personal my
Cricket cell phone. Because I
did not respond. They promised
to call me back within 42 or 48
hours. I will vote by disconnecting
the scam call.
Success at last! I was able to
call her and Mary dropped
off the sack lunch. Courtesy
of a Seventh Day Adventist
Church. Using the Central
Lutheran church's property.
The people did not know if
they would be back there
two weeks from last Sunday.
My friend Mary C and I will
not be attending any more
community meals in the
cities of Everett and Snohomish.
King and Snohomish Counties
are two of the most impacted
counties in the Evergreen State
of Washington.
Since all of the parks have been
shut down in Snohomish County
Washington. And mayor Cassie
Franklin has ordered Everett under
a lock down. President Donald
Trump is calling out the National
Guard for the State of Washington.
The State of Colorado has dispatched
300 doctors, nurses. and medical
assistants to the State of Washington.
And they have already arrived,
and are working.
The States of California, New York,
and I believe Illinois will also
have National Guards present
in their states as well.
Stay at home, stay safe.
Say your prayers, read your
Bibles and home devotionals
Attend your church's on-line
services if possible.
Air out your dwelling places,
if at all possible.
Love in Christ Jesus!

Narrative
Aching for my presence
she called me late one night.
She wanted to have
a night cap,
and she knows I do it right.
Forty five minutes later,
on the counties outer rim.
I pull into the driveway,
of her old
Victorian.
Striking lightly with my knuckles
on the front door made of oak.
she opens the door,
powder blue negligee
high heels.
My jaw hit the floor.
Caramel surprise,
nude, she's dressed to kill.
Candles glowing throughout the house
relaxing music in the distance.
She drops her robe,
standing there,
testing my resistance.
The curvature of her waistline,
tapering to long,
well toned thighs.
Breasts proportionate to her figure.
Standing six foot tall
is a beauty just my size.
Unable to control my sergeant,
she receives a standing ovation.
Reaching down, she caresses me,
what a wonderful sensation.
I push her onto the mattress,
forcing my way between her thighs.
She twists and turns violently,
whimpering a series
of sultry cries.

The Great Meadow
Beyond the high hedge the great meadow extends to the sky
Its fallow grasses fanned into waves by a breeze.
While down the slope the bearded barley and rye
Make a downy golden fabric that clothes the leas
The largest field in England, so it's opined
Though a child beside an endless Kansas prairie
Beneath heavens that can be reached by heart and mind
No distant scene but a piece of homeland friendly
As I walked its hidden life became revealed
A pheasant ran with ungainly comic indignity
A startled cat leapt from a nest concealed
And a sky lark rose to sing an unfettered symphony
Across the counties were such prospects planned
From days when mighty shires hauled their wains
And still the fields and hedgerows shape the land
So let it ever green and pleasant remain

Bird food bought instead
Of cookies, no dread
Of eating them at tea or
Snack, I'll make brownies
Ride over the counties
Maybe do fun chores galore
Who am I kidding
Can't do forbidding
I'll just eat so much, much more
Maybe some apples
Dipped so they're dappled
No, I'm trapped just as before

some African presidents forced the retirement
of some military generals and others removed them
from some key posts yesterday
After the coup d'état of Gabon.
Some African presidents
who think to own their countries
and stayed on power for decades
now they have much fear to lose powers
like Ali Bongo and others.
This strategy won't help them as the young leaders
who are majority in the army many African counties
need change of some regimes.
It is difficult to stop those coup d'états
As the African youths
understand what they are doing.
It is called "no retreat, no surrender operation."

No greater injustice than this:
To condemn people to death, just for tender acts of love,
While
Rewarding others, for committing barbarous acts in war! *

Epigram
Black clouds bury the blue skies of Bama overhead
as monstrous winds wipe out towns of southern plain.
From historic antebellum it left a path of dead
in the midst of hail and drenching down-pouring rain.
Ten hours of terror that held the sweet south in its grip
not yielding to warnings since wind motion was quick.
Leveled houses and buildings with just one long dip
leaving nothing to relish of mementos or red brick.
Toys and papers scattered with the dying whirl twist
sending debris to nearby states in massive claws.
Disaster covers barren- lifeless- ground in hail and mist
while residents view destruction that harshly gnaws.
Blind darkness filled the night after the storms once seized
bleak clouds clung, still forbidding stars or moon to shine.
Lives spared but tattered beings were left quite uneased
and not rightly sure where tired bodies could now resign.
Despair fills many counties hit by a ravenous wind
that changed a million lives in a fleeted moment.
Winds of majesty can transform, bringing life to an end
along with frazzled minds and souls in much discontent.
Although lives have been altered and turned inside out
friendship and well wishes are given in great abundance.
It will take patience to rebuild quaint rural towns, no doubt
with God’s and friends help, we still have a fighting chance.

Man and dog, reputed best friends, rise above death’s fears.
With lives on the line, heroes save, minds and hearts in action.
Stories mount across counties where rescuers save many tears.
Not for any gain or fame, but for responsible satisfaction.
A perky little poodle, pretty, adorned in green and gray,
Trapped inside a smoke filled house could not get away.
Firemen forced their way inside in time to save the day.
She squirmed in the arms of safety, well enough to play.

A black and white dog fell through the ice; he was not skating.
The thinly frozen water, his trap, oh, day in Rhode Island.
Rescuers came to save that dog; there was no hesitating.
They quickly warmed the shaking beast and gave a life-saving hand.

A German shepherd gone astray in the Los Angeles River
Stood on a shallow watery ledge, amid rushing waters.
His savior dangled above the scene, without any shivers.
A struggle for life, one bite to the thumb…success never falters.

A candle flame, dog owner out, disaster begins to rage.
Five dogs in Colorado Springs saved while the fire burned.
One Chihuahua crossed the Vail to the great doggie sage.
But with love and a fireman’s CPR, her life was soon returned.

Across the species border, thrives a caring respect for life.
Both man and canine have been willing to sacrifice breath itself.
Facing danger, against raging flames, bravery beyond strife,
A "dobbie" protects her puppies loving her babies more than herself.
The rescuer knew she passed through her fears and did so aptly.
He had risked his life for her and her pups, awareness shone well.
Both man and dog covered in ash with faces gray and sooty,
No bite, but kisses of thankfulness, she gave, so the world could tell.

Most wars are fought by the military
with the starter pistol fired by politicians,
then soldiers are sent out to kill each other
to fulfill some political ambitions.
War is now considered big business
putting young men’s lives at stake,
while counties sell each other lethal weapons
to see how much profit they can make.
Without the uniform this would be murder
but in war you never count the cost,
only when you visit the cemetery
do you really know how many men were lost.
War never has any winners
just brave men trying to survive,
with their wives and loved ones at home
hoping they will come back alive.

Of bus stations I have known, this is by far the worst
A post Victorian folly that's a post Victorian curse.
A waiting room that's cold and dark a room ground down with grime
A fire bricked up no form of heat a floor all wet with slime.
A tiny little bus station behind the old town hall,
Six tiny little bus stands beside a red brick wall.
Built for smaller busses to host sightseeing tours,
For transport to the seaside or the rugged northern moors.
Congestion in the timetable brings many busses in,
To squeeze into the bus station like sardines in a tin.
December winds are blowing hard bring snow in from the north
The crowds just praying for their bus so they can sally forth.
The "Counties" bus at bus stand six is driver-less once more,
It's passengers stand huddled up outside the tight shut door.
The wind still blows the snow gets deep and piles up in the gutter,
The bus can't move the drivers lost the crowd are in a flutter.
At long long last a "rep" appears his clip board boldly waving,
All services canceled for the day it's time to hit the paving.
All services canceled can't get to work I'm wasting my time remaining,
For an act of God is an act of God and there's really no point in complaining.

Rainsoaked fields,pastel green,
perennial impressions of country scenes.
Shire counties cramped and compact,
neither temperate,changeable and in exact.
Seasons merging into one,
winters' mild,summers of sometime sun.
Ancient,historic and quaintly modern,
pub-grub,village greens and cricket squares sodden.
Precedent law,judged by our peers,
diverse opinions expressed sans fear.

"Political power grows out of the barrel
of a gun" - Mao Zedong.
North Korea has nuclear;
current regime's fear
of falling out is clear.
China, Philippines, Japan,
and Taiwan all claim possession
of South China sea -
China claims it owns the sea
because it has the name China
on it.
Syrian warfare is like venom
of different animals mixed
together in a dark blender;
you can't tell who's ISIS, al-qaeda,
Hizbollah, Iranian agents,
Syrian rebels or Regime Forces.
A North Korean sub is missing in the sea;
no one knows what's next....
Russia and United States have differences
on how Syrian War should be handled.
Myriads of Syrian refugees cry at the gates
of Europe;
like Mary and Joseph in the Inn,
there's a few people letting them in.
Dalai Lama still cries for freedom
for the Tibetans.
Corruption still eats away economies
in African counties and national cakes.
Donald Trump wants an America
with no immigrants-
I think he's saying goodbye
to globalisation.
Boko Haram want to create a Caliphate
empire across West Africa.
Politics, the Grimm Reaper,
is here and listening!

I would love to visit Africa
I would love to visit the heart of Africa
there's no doubt it would have my heartbeat
my ancestry, my love, my wide open eyes
dad told me long ago
as i scooted close to his campfire
that his families namesake
traced to towns, rivers, counties in Africa
i was overwhelmed
really, really
me a white guy, somewhat
and Japanese, Polish
but it's true when you see my last name
maybe the roots traced back to the beginning of time
really, really
who knows, but it's true
it's true, i say
someday, when the sunshine's on me
and the weathers fine
i would love to go to Africa, and visit
... hopefully
with the black bear, the one here
or the one in my imagination ...
the one that always loves to get her nose stuck
in the honey jar,
i love that ... it's so her
okay that was a joke
because i love to joke
because i'm a funny bunny, too
i dream, does it hurt to dream?
i dream of that day
and opportunity
for a bouquet of flowers,
black bear's name on it or not,
i would love to ride the Congo river
the breeze in my face, riding the look,
khakis, a Congo hat, her in my arms
man, how i dream
the look would be fine
is that bad,
can it get any better?
i dream of riding an elephant
the biggest and wildest elephant
okay that was an exaggeration
because i'd be scared
give me a baby elephant that's fine
and visiting the lion and tiger safaris
and mingling with the natives
and buying a sari for her, especially for her
i dream of checking into the hotel
in Africa, a nice hotel overlooking a lake
with Congo trees dancing to my presence
... see how i dream, i told you
and having the front desk do a double take
of my last name
and then ...
i would just roll my eyes, for effect, maybe to impress
... only her

He was a wandering man that travelled many miles
staying a few days here and there, sometimes a week or two
then his feet would get that familiar itch and on he'd go
searching new horizons for his elusive dream.
A lady in every town he visited, sighed, when he travelled on
although he found them all enchanting, with none could he settle
the call of the road was just too strong and those feet would itch
wondrous sights he found as the roads led him ever onwards.
In the lake district he loved the open spaces and towering hills
the sparkling lakes that nestled like gems at their feet
the air that invigorated his soul with its fresh crispness
to here he often returned and just soaked in the beauty.
In the peaks he found a place from which seven counties were visible
finding out it was for sale, he laid down his money and the deal was done
a simplistic house he built made of cobb and oak that blended into the hills
yet still those feet would itch and off he once more would go.
The years passed by; often he returned for a month or two
he found he was getting slower and inclined to linger in places longer
then one day on the road he caught up to a fellow traveller
that night they lingered around a camp fire sharing stories.
Oh the stories they both had could fill several books with wondrous memories
she had been travelling for 30 years he a bit longer, yet until now
never with another, both had always been solitary by choice
he took her to his home in the dales and shortly after they wed
Still every two to three months they would share a glance
and each would know the others feet felt that age old itch
so forth they would set off to discover new horizons once more
safe in the knowledge they had each other and their cottage awaiting their return

Author of “The Satanic Verses” was stabbed
this morning in NYC.
In New York, doing a reading, that city which
now allows criminality.
Yes, I know a Fatwa, was put on his life.
But he’s fearless, not out to please and can
deal with strife.
I do hope he successfully recovers.
I like writers who do not put truth under pretty,
people pleasing covers!
A few of his quotes are listed below..
They are universal for all free counties.
1. What is freedom of expression!
Without the right to offend, it ceases to
exist.
2. Language is courage: The ability to
conceive a thought, to speak it, and
by doing so, to make it true.
3. A mature society, understands that at
the heart of democracy, is argument!
