Premium Member A Cry For Leadership

Who is that brave and noble one I have heard so much about? I saw you standing right next to him in a newspaper report about him. Do you know his agenda, his intentions, and his mission? Where is he, from where did he ascend, and to where is he going? I have heard that he fears neither man nor beast, but has great respect for 'Laws'. Clouds of doom, fear, and gloom hang over our world. So take me to your leader.

I sense that the quest for unity of the 'citizens of the world' is abolishing 'Soveignties'. May our prayers ascend to heaven and may God free us from so many inequities, boiling pots of greed, overflowing pools of political corruption, debaucheries that permeate the atmosphere, and human behavior that's becoming too toxic for habitation. One sign of a good man is that he views constitutions and laws as instruments of sacredness. Evil men loathe laws, and perceiving them as restrictive, change or abolish them at will. I would be so honored to meet and dine with a good man or woman.
So please take me to your leader.

There is so much I need to know about him. So I hope that you have not been sworn to secrecy. He gives all appearance of a giant of a man who longs to be at peace. I have heard that he believes in freedom, justice, and prosperity for all. I have heard he's a good seed, has no greed, and cannot be bought or sold. I have heard that you are close to him, giving him counsel and godly wisdom. It is said of him that he bravely revisits history without becoming a revisionist. The future shall be paved with those who are unafraid of neither today nor yesterday. It seems our world is spent and spineless, and in such demand for true leadership. So take me to your leader.

You are a dear friend of mine, kind and true. So I beg of you, take me to your leader. He need not be grandiose or a wearer of haloes, nor superhuman or unusually charismatic. He need not raise the dead nor walk on water, but perhaps he knows the one who does. Perhaps his ears, eyes, and heart are opened to genuineness and tightly closed to hypocrisy. Perhaps he holds secrets whose revealing time has come, so please take me to your leader.

Black History

It amazes me
They say all men were created equally
But that’s denied throughout history
Theirs starts with constitutions revolutions and bravery
They tell us ours is gangs chains and slavery
It’s pretentious
And I’m offended
You started the race just so you could win it
And they did…well they did
Until we realized that an eagle can’t be judge by its ability to be a pig
False metrics
A ruler being held by media outlets rendering our image helpless
They narrate that our great minds are bipolar, out of order or just selfish
Encourage us to swallow your dreams
Beat our women , eat our young and wash it down with the tiniest sips from their revenue stream
And we say nah
Trick no good
Ms Maya Angelo knew
Sojourner too cause Rosa didn’t move so Mlk can spread the truth
I’m not the smartest man on earth but if I wanna change how history looks
The first thing ima change is what’s explained in our history…books

Long live Babylon America the great its the M night Shyamalan planet of the Apes

Long live Babylon America the great its the M night Shyamalan planet of the Apes

Here’s the plan it’s no secret raise your hand and give the answer I agree with
Concentration of Indoctrination now we consider him a genius
Don’t let him look into why Malcolm X wanted to separate
Keep him chasing his tail in circles as we continue to legislate
Tell the only ones that’s special are the ones that did something first
Ignore the names of those that change what was broke but now works
You know what’ll really knock ‘em out of competition?!
Tell ‘em their role models are ball players and musicians
Let’s assassinate all they’re leaders and complain they’re all directionless
Police Kill off they’re strong men n women even though they are weaponless
But keep the freaks in the sheets cuz they women are the sexiest
Add dope to their communities break down the family structure
So it’s really sister Vs sister and brother Vs brother
Father out the home is more pressure for the mother
Strong and independent makes her think a pb and j can be jelly without peanut butter

So what makes you think I want a calendar with 28 days
With 28 names
Of 28 slaves
Lead to 28 graves? I think …..We’d rather have our 40 acres…

Poetic Therapy

As we are all part of the same verse,
languages to belong by diverse.
When the pen is mightier then the sword,
rhymed words are the crown of all commerce.
Legislation and constitutions in applicable intellect,
loving words by peacemakers detect.
Therapeutic words are the guru’s mother tongue,
liberating the spirits to where they belong.
Admired by masters of philosophy in dept,
liberating the cosmic mental effect.
Love letters become the innocent testament,
marriage contract sealing the happy ever after trend.
Societies in refined approach spoke in rhyme,
mental attitude with a thought through to define.
Mechanic quick thinking is the wheel in wheel respective,
giving no room for pliable introspective.
Selected words of grace as guided meditation,
open the vaults of poor collected separation.
Books of poesy towards the child’s education,
replaced by syllabus sheets towards nullification.
The human mind without words has no image,
the system in disguise establishing the damage.
While rhymes in poetic sense by the day,
keeps all confusion at bay.

Ode To Death

How nice
that our lieders could not to live forever.
You just imagine
what happened our world for
if our immortal comrades
might electing himself
handred and handred times
for presidency.

Only think, dear,
what happenned around,
if our national leader
will create innumerous tandems,
constitutions and rules
for legitimace eternal presidency,

will printed
in the memory of generations and generations,
as a superman and superstar
on the various horses,
on the countless planes and jets
in the countless submarins,
on the countless Siberian rivers
with naked proudly torse
in present time
(and naked soul and batress on future retrospect)
on the spacerships and warships,
on the fares corner of space,
with sombrero on head
and without it
on the wing of Saturn,
as a golden giant stature
in the deserts of Asia,
and so on, so on
your exellency and your majesty,
till the completely crackdown
of heaven.
Thank you, my Lord
for sharp limitation
such maddening plays
and replications
from our rulers.

Premium Member Magical Mirrors

I woke up today
I am sure I did
Or have I?
I slowly unwrapped myself from my bed
Groggy and yawning
I was off to write the constitution
Should I failed in this endeavor
I shall hope to have enough gasses left
For a poem or two
About who knows what?

Countries are waiting for their constitutions
Ladies are waiting
Or are they?
I slowly unwrap words from my mind
Will they fall into poems?
Or some legal document to make men go blind

The Greeks are cheering me off in the corner
Applause filters down into my quiet silent room
Coffee filters are brewing up my days work
I remove a pink lace bra floating on my head
Best not Dali on my salvation now, lest I close the door

Humbly, as who else could I possibly be?
I look into the mirror
I stare dumfounded
For I am not there at all
I see something of a miracle staring back at me

I see you
Loveable, fuggable you
The mirror shatters
Out jumps the lips
That kiss my bleeding face
I see clearly now
The emancipation of loves embrace
Strangulation of illusions lost face

The shards of glass lay all around my feet
I stare down enthralled and dumbfounded
For each shard of glass
Is a reflection of you
Each reflection a moment in time
I grasp the cleavage of such wondrous visions

To fondle the true meaning of beauty
Is to drink from the chalice of wisdom
My contemplations blowing in the wind
I smile at the magical mirror

As I smell the sweet scent of breakfast
From heavens kitchen
One very special angel I am sure
Missing her pink lace bra
Bloody cut feet running forth
Into the magical mirror

Premium Member Just Figuring - My Manifesto

When ever I have time of days
I sit figuring a maze in amazing ways
I think convoluted thoughts
And jot down extreme constitutions
Can't help some self amusement

At times contradicting my own rules
For instance this composition is
Nothing short of competition for my self
This manifesto is an I'm sure
Proclamation punctuation if needed

Infatuated with luxury Yesss in deed
A life of pure comfort (everyone should
Have) is definitely a part of my composure
With all necessary disclosure the
Information is streaming through

It's only news to you
Must have a quality mattress a king sized
Extra pleasure with all regalities please
A grand sunken entertainment room
Low down! A spectacular situation

The light in our lives is the right of human
Beings and precious loves
Racism, it drives me insane to hate for
Hate's sake but we have the right to
Love and hate whoever we please

Accolades to all titans who fought for
Human rights way back then
Think back think black think bad
Ashes to ashes look to all those
Survivors of the struggle

Good God that was hard
This world is more than just material
It's not just the struggle of never
Having enough food money
It's what came out of that hustle

Now speechless to speeches
Break it down In pieces
In some forms and ranks racism
Persist it's in their hearts
That fight is the art of the deal

Spaces and places have changed
Paces we are still in a race with our selves
We have got to carry on
This affair called the fight the struggle
Please don't buckle live and let live

Keep your dignity be diplomatic
Give up the troubles
Live in the light become TITANS
Never give up the fight
That's the life

THIS IS THE PROCLAMATION

Aurora

Dark knights to dark days
communities left in stun
cowards make a celebration pay
barrels smoking, billowing gun

tragedy split in tears
loaded myths of insanity

catching the breath of it's fears
another moment of crucifying humanity

curdling thoughts, flowing alone
hostage to the power of none
Constitutions need to atone
before glorious doves burn

The Constitution

In any country
From century to century
Living together of people
Strong and feeble
Has been of paramount importance.

Countries have different ways of association
Some live in a federation
Others in a confederation.

In each case,
The system of living together
Is guided by a document
Called a constitution
It is drawn by a group of selected people.

After the selected people have agreed
On a type of constitution
It is then presented
To the people of the nation
In a referendum.

In some nations,
The people signify their intentions
Through elected members
Who represents them in parliament.

Once the document is approved by the people,
Delegated by the people,
It becomes a constitution.

...A constitution is a document
That governs the way of life
And behavior of people
Of a nation.

A constitution can be suspended
In times of emergency,
The government of the day
Shall rule by degree
And not by acts of parliament.

All loyal citizens of a nation
Respect their constitutions
As they respect their race.

Hallucinatory Prayers

Fallen upon knees in ashes of pipe dreamer’s infatuation
chimera's collective stardust reigning through macrocosms,
world spins counterclockwise unrealistically bound hiatus
stained glass mirrors fracture in rhetorical opposition,
earthly beings condensed to mere commonplace residue
threadbare allegiances written on worn out constitutions,
idly spinning cogwheels from premier breath to closer exhale
angels hark intensely attempting to assuage inevitability
whilst calm winds yield to maelstroms' imitative gesticulations
forfeitures of human activity sacrificed in sins' germinal vices
banal platitudes reinforcing an elusively unoriginal existence,
dancing 'round the fire tween inquisitions' reluctant commendations
preparedness on conventional suspension of ill-advised reiterations,
awaiting surrender 'neath an incoherent vigil's unorthodox rite of
incarnate passages' disconnected resolve mid consequential rationale

 thereupon...

timelessness is but a variable symbol
    factored in mankind's hallucinatory prayers

Revolutionary

We African heads of state must stop behaving
like puppets who dance every time
the imperialists pull the strings.
Glory to our peoples,
Dignity to our people,
Victory to our people,
Fatherland or death,
we shall conquer” -
Quote by Ibrahim Traore
 (New Burkina Faso President)

"We must choose either champagne
for a few or safe drinking water for all "
 ~ Thomas Sankara

 Revolutionary,
    When some leaders
       hear about revolutionary
       they confuse it with mercenary
         which is not necessary
            when a visionary
speaking some facts.

African  democracy
             is so disastrously
                    as some political leaders
           can not break neo-colonisation systems.
some army officers in many west African countries
stood up ,chased out some political leaders
                                                      via coup d'etats,
chased out many western military bases,
banned colonial ties with some western countries
                                  and changed their constitutions.
Yoh! the militaries felt pain to see how some
young Africans continue dying in waters to Europe
                                            while their countries
keeping eighty percent of their resources
                in some western countries
which don't benefit their people
because of some wrong agreements
in the process of freedom declarations
from nineteen fifties.

A host of lilac roses floated
On the air.
A consuming fragrance
This lilac affair
The betterment of rose
Confusion
This lilac spring everyone's
In love
All lovers made blanket precautions
So as to have picnic prostration
Daffodils Carnations and lilac
Roses surrounding.
A floral heaven.
Every dream was spent on elated tiers
Not one a bouquet of tears
Husbands and wives crowded

Was different, how would it be
More merrier?
No glee denied.
Farewell to every dream fulfilled

Misdirection

The pain that I feel is caused by the ignorance I see on television and facebook, youtube and twitter, and most importantly the minds and mouths of the multitudes of people that lack the acquirable knowledge that would educate them before speaking.

Our world has misplaced the efficacy of human touch, the importance of human communalism; we have overlooked the significance of human life, and no longer contain the fortitude to express the basic collective dignities all people warrant.
The paths that we take toward progression diverge from the ethical constitutions that were meant to chaperon the actions of man; paths that lead to supremacy rather than a place of equality, where one person’s revolution justifies the undermining of another’s natural liberties, and a place where the flamboyant cries of a few disillusioned are satisfied over the cravings of the crowds that are too preoccupied to bellow.

The sexual nature of our children has surpassed the carnal ways of our parents, and society begs for the young victims to expand their complexities of sensuality. The female body is not a gift, but a means of entertainment; the man is not a sturdy foundation for the family, but instead a source of erotic pleasures. Today it is exceptional to find a person that is faithful, and tomorrow we are all sufferers of divorce.

My God the path we have taken leads to destruction, and we advance ever so closer to the end. The people of our world our depressed and lonely and I fear for the world my children will grow up in. I question whether giving them life was the best thing I could have done for my children.

Amidst the chaos of Earth, I see a photo of an officer assisting a sightless man cross the street, I hear reports of a blessed man returning his earnings to those who need it more, I see a video of a Christian alongside an Atheist as they rebuild the house of a Muslim fire victim, and I see hope.

Hope, that we can one day be rid of the current ways we have chosen to live by; hope that our grandchildren will be blind of color, gender, sensualities, and judge no one. This hope is the hope that will bring us to our knees, and upon those knees shall we find man’s peace.

What's In a Name

What's in a Name?
                                                    by Preston Hill

The Sun gives birth to dawn. We meet for the first time. We introduce. What’s your name?

We chat respectfully- all the while the sun continues to rise.

To think that once long ago in the cradle of humankind an idea sparked knowledge.

Testing, poking, prodding the mind, pushing thought into expression.

What was then an idea to be spoken was finally written down.

Pictograms on cave walls, diagrams of the hunt, the battle.

Pictograms on clay pots depicting commerce from a life long ago.

Pictograms on parchments that develop shapes, gestating onward to the formation of letters, words, ideas.

Of contracts, agreements, mortgages, governments, constitutions, proclamations.

Pictograms on chalkboards, blackboards, whiteboards on which an idea will be conveyed.

And children learn, apprentices advance, executives and politicians chart budgets and trends.

Pictograms on buildings, bridge abutments, railway cars declaring “This place is ours”.

And as ideas spread so did humankind. Wars and peacetime. Love and hate. Dignity and honor.

All emotion within passed from one generation to the next as the sun climbs higher in the sky.

And on one small piece of ground a family, a clan, a tribe, a village began to grow giving titles to their neighbors in relation to their geography.

Mr. Rock, Mr. Hill, Mr. Rivers greeted with a jaunty wave of the hand.

Then John had a son. Then Samuel had a son. Then Lars had a son.

Yearning for identity, Mr. Cooper, Mr. Smith and Mr. Baker began to teach their trades and build a future, contributing to the economy and serving others.

Soon, the village grew into a town, the town into a city. Nations and states formed and families, clans, tribes and cultures pooled together with separate and distinct idiosyncrasies.

In every language and aspect ideas spread, carrying seeds from the beginning.

Leaving their expectations, hopes, fears and dreams imprinted on the pages of history.

And as the sun reaches its apex, I look at my watch. You ask me, “What’s in a name?”.

I reply, “The world”, then smile politely and change the subject.

Naughtyku

Picked a stray hair
from between his teeth, and she
sighed contentedly.

[I know. Cheeky! But it wiggled its way into my head last night, and couldn't go on without writing it down, naughty as it is. Anyone with puritan constitutions, look away! Look away, now! :) Probably should have held it until someone sponsored a naughty haiku contest. Plus, the categories here are so limited.]
