It's the future and it's here today, gonna change the way you drive
So come out the dark, reignite the spark and make your driving come alive

Tesla Tesla it's the best electric car
Tesla Tesla an hour's juice and you'll go far

If you're buying a new ve-hi-cle though you're really spoilt for choice
There is only one car that you want, so join with us and raise your voice

Tesla Tesla it's the best electric car
Tesla Tesla an hour's juice and you'll go far

Tesla's got no petrol engine so less element of risk
and the whole things whisper quiet, sounds just like an electric whisk

Tesla Tesla A to B without a sound
Tesla Tesla they won't hear you knock 'em down

Three hundred miles of driving pleasure when the battery's fully charged
And you get tons of free envelopes, 'coz your energy bills quite large

Tesla Tesla for the ultimate driving thrill
Tesla Tesla power output of Brazil

We have ironed out the problems folks, so it cannot be our fault
when overtaking buddies laugh at you when you car grinds to a halt

Tesla Tesla buy one now and knock 'em dead
But if you like the smell of gasolene get the new Mustang instead.

What Fallen Apple Dare One Take Sweet Bite

What value an oracle that denies
Time and Fate both join to join, to create
rich dessert with man's miserable lies
and dish it all up on a dirty plate.

What steady course to set sail on if known
one that in the calm harbor remains safe
Or through stormy skies, there gaily blown
like upward drawn dregs of useless wheat chaff.

What fallen apple dare one take sweet bite
as if sweet happiness would thus be found
for nowhere in mankind's long, futile flight
is paradise sold by penny or pound.

What hope rewards seekers that blessed key
What Light shines, for any and all to see

Along For the Holiday's

This holiday season, for whatever reason, don't be secluded from family and friends.
Johnny was release early from prison right around two-weeks before Christmas and a
little reluctant too go home the thought of starting in the direction cross his mind again
and again. So finally he went, the smell of mom's turkey in the oven could be smell from
almost a block from her home. Johnny knocks on her door, one of his little neices goes to the
door and opens it, grandma someone at the front door he hears her mention as she's in the
kitchen preparing the festive meal and she almost faints when she herself see who's at the
door. Call them listen as their heart, will be fill with joy, johnny remember the pastor tells
him as he was constaplating about going, so instead the pastor say to him "call them then".
The Spirit of Christmas has lead of him to go home, and it is the best give of all, as he hear
mom say, "Thank you God", because even though she prays that he'll be realease soon she
was not expecting to she him. Tear's form real thick in johnny eye's when he enter in the
house, in mom's eyes as well. "I got release early and as bad as I've been, that got me sent
to prison in the first place. I was scare to come home". Mom calls up his sister and their un-
cle, soon the house is crowded with folks. We all make mistakes in life my son his uncle
tells him as they talk man to man away from the chaos as the family started singing and
everyone is cheerfully happy!.. Mom finally gets him to herself, " the Sun will always shine,
and the moon and the star's will be in place, the whole year should be like Christmas for
all who share this day along", "for my Lord Saintified X-MAS, to bring one lost back home".
Thank you momma for your prayer's (its) the only thing that kept me strong. "They hug, his
shoulder becomes moist with wetness and so does hers, their loniness is replace with Joyfull-
ness". * Merry Christmas to all the Poetry-Soup Family*

Haibun Look Poetry Contest

Before we look at iambic meter you must understand syllables, how they are used to break down words into separate sounds, an example, 'un/der/stand; a three syllable word. The latter, (word), is a single syllable one. Iambic meter uses 2 syllables, the first unstressed the second stressed. Together they are called a foot. Now if your feet are not suffering we have 5 foot to go. Iambic pentameter, a line 10 syllables long or 5 feet with the rhythm de//dah
/ de//dah / de//dah / de//dah /
de//dah. the bold dah being the stressed syllable. Of all the metered forms, (there are a few). The one discussed here is the form most commonly used by English poets, its said to follow our speech pattern. The rhythm is, (if writing in iambic meter), a must. A point I have not made clear is in 2 syllable words the second syllable is the one stressed! As for 4 syllable words, it is the second and forth. For 3 syllable words go see the poet Doctor, joking aside I try to make it the middle one, seriously I try to avoid them, for me, they are hard work! An example of iambic pentameter from William Shakespear's Sonnet XVII: Shall I compare thee to a sumers day? Just the first line, again the bold text represents the stressed syllable. The whole sonnet has the rhyme pattern ababcdcdefefgg. If you have read this far then you too must have fun writing, composing poetry, I do, I find it therapeutic, hope it helps to you too.

Pentameter, two syllables equal one foot, ten equal,
five, seems to stress some folk when the
stress should only be on the last sequel
of two words like this you can see
applied to alldouble syllabe words like treacle,
here the stress in bold text made easy,
the third line up in iambic meter sequel,
of four iambic feet, iambic tetrameter, da de,
da de, da de da de, the cycle,
triple syllable words, heed, yes, choose very carefully
