Abandom Faith

Abandoned Faith'

Abandoned Faith" written by Alex McFarland and Jason Jimenez is a timely book about why Millenials are walking away from the church and how we can bring them back. The authors discuss how children who were raised in the church no longer attend once they go off to college. Parents are distraught, wondering what they did wrong. In many cases, families become estranged over the new generation of adults breaking family traditions.

When Jesus was here on earth he was a healer also to take time to pray...
Let's open ourselves that Jesus has healing for all of us this evening,
Reach down to lay hold of Christs' love far fresh and a new
The rumors are true, the tales of old
Seek life elsewhere, for this will hold none
Souls endlessly wander, all hope be gone
What rumors, you ask, whatever did befall
The christened stones, the blessed halls?
Loss of faith, sad but true
Loss of trust between me and you
Perhaps one day love will return
Until then I’ll continue to yearn
Christ in the upper room
Christ beneath the barren sod
Christ among the pier strock cold
beneath the peril & rod

he never told me it would be easy
this walk of faith let your mind radiate
feel the nurse whistle contemplate
in shades of peril Christ is there
We look to him
toward are sanctuary
a line formed across the sea

Salutations my Brethren, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Saviour!

Though weary from your travels you may be
through Gods' love there is hope for you and me

to save the world He gave His only Son
and through the Cross death lost and life has won!

So to all of you who for salvation pray
take Christ into your hearts this very day

for God so loves us all that He did give
the precious blood of Christ so we could live!

If truly in your hearts you do believe
this gift of lasting life you will recieve!

Go in peace, dear Brethren, and may the Grace of God
follow you all of your days! In Christs' precious name, Amen.

To a Never Receding Echo

ODE TO A NEVER RECEDING ECHO
For Onyebuchi

Day and night in an eternal combat.
A truce : the eternal cycle of night and light
Lost in the ruse of an eclipse.
Where is the truce in the ruse of going and coming?
You found yours swinging on that threshold,
Where udara tree dances to the choirs of the wind.
Then you bend to itch the scratch.
The debt of birth repaid too soon.
Where lion wimp and head dancer limp!
Crippled Aligo!!!
Have you journeyed through the chart on your palm ?
After a drunken sip of prerian spring.
Soured tryst with Sophia.
Cherubim through the umbilical returns
To the progenitor?not conceived! Unborn!!
Halo on rusty hair sits.
Or was it your iyiuwa. Unburnt
Pleat, unpleat then pleat…
Under the star-apple tree,
Where all roads meet
Do not live on the threshold
Stay with me, ignore the whispers of these shadows
Itching your feathered cap.
You have sucked through this nipple time dry
Leave her, now flaccid, bosom. see she shrieks.
Head of the Baptist shrieks
Superfluous gift for many half Christs,
Too proud for Baptism.
I wonder why?
A pine piercing the sun
Withers at the descent of a dozen, score moon.
Eleodimmuo it is you I am calling.
You, eternity lost in time.

A dance to a never receding echo
If now is dusk, I hope the echo stays
At least, for me, a pedagogic star.
While the magi?me, beside the manger wait
For the birth of light.
While owl hoots dove’s lullaby;
Vulture hatching in eagle’s nest.
You are my Ogbanje, my forerunner
Even if the lips of days hums dirge as they pass

Now, Soldier ant from the udara returns. again.
Matching, invading my tryst, feasting on a depleted layer.
Futile to chase; deliberate in pace
Need I learn this tune?if it never rest?
Fallowed stream bites as dreams cradle me.
The black thing chants Ogbanje, Ogbanje and I sign
At this never receding echo.

In memory of Onyebuchi
If you in dancing to, faults, my beat. see a fore admission of a mortal's fallibility

Oh! Sleep come claim me for thine own
My mind it wanders far and deep
To distant lands and shores unknown
Far beyond this castle keep

To fight for God on land and tide
To make the heathen understand
My kindred brethren at my side
A christian vow a sword in hand

Their foreign tongues and ritual chants
Oh! Lord they know not what they do
Forgive them Lord their ignorance
Their demi-gods they falsely woo

God grant me strength to bare the proof
From those that practice to deceive
Sins of the flesh and cloven hoof
Oh! What a tangled web they weave

'Tis only death and death alone
Will cleanse the soul and purge the mind
As rabid dogs tear flesh from bone
The will of God his axe they grind

The Devils work must ne'er be done
Cross not our path nor bar our way
The Lord our God thy will be done
The Judas tree will rock and sway

No equal nowhere on this earth
Cruel deeds to shame Marquis De Sade
Whilst crimson tides iinfuse the dirt
Our just and holy Lords crusade

For Hell i've seen and made my own
Grant me my Lord my endless sleep
What devils deeds and seeds we've sown
In Christs own name how he must weep

The Stillness that plaques these counterfeit souls is a rancid bitter scorch....
Astonishing at the depth of hatred within ….

How the ~Beauty of the Lord’s Day~
 escapes their puffed
Self celebratory view....
To live each day in rages full of darkness...
 as Torment bleeds upon them…..

My Heart is True an has been Humbled…
I will continue to uphold the Christs teaching.....
May His Words Continue to give me strength and guidance as He walks with me ...
For without God I am nothing....

Christ is Our Salvation on earth and in Heaven….

Blessings

Premium Member Christmas In the Heavens

Little by little by little by far,
high above I followed a bright
shining star,
something special in the air
no doubt a galactic affair,
symbols, trumpets,
resounding on Earth
a special occasion, a birth.
Oh to be in the heavens,
at this time of the year,
as a space shuttle is
used to man-oeuvre us
among superstars,
having visited Mars,
we are on our way
to the Milky Way
so iconic, so fascinating.
Trillions of stars,
a spectacular sight,
in the quiet of night,
creating a magical tale,
which will never fail,
to delight
and excite.
The Milky Way,
adorns and em-blazes
Our heavenly sky's,
perfect Christmas decorations.
For on the eve of Our
Babes first night on earth,
We will hear carols sung
by celestial beings,
and we heave
a contended sigh,
shed heartfelt tears,
for at midnight,
we shout Happy Christmas
to one and all,
Christ Is born, Christs birth
was God’s call.

Loving Dare To Be a Mary Challenge: Men Too

I
Some poems write themselves
Maureen McGreavey excels in pithy poetry
So I do not love writing them, sometimes

II
When the Holy Spirit showed me a contrast
Luke 1, a priest prayed for a son (Elizabeth & Zechariah)
When Gabriel brought the good news, he doubted:
"How can this be true. I am old; my wife advanced in age.")
Zechariah was punished, but Mary was rewarded her asking:
"How can this be, I have not known a man?" Truth: innocence!
Zechariah was shut up for 9 months, until he said, "John!"
The name of the son Elizabeth bore, the forerunner of cousin Jesus -
Mary's faith stood not on education, nor upon reading ...
When Gabriel said, "The Spirit will overcome you as you bring
Forth the Hope of Israel: His name is 'YESHUA: God our Salvation!'" -
It stood on simple faith; faith comes by hearing (His Name) Amen

III
We have this treasure in earthen vessles, or jars of clay ...
This treasure, saints, THIS TREASURE, the Spirit of God
The Holy Spirit in each believer; Spirit of God's Holiness
Which is the power displayed in the Resurrection
That is why I have optimism about you, Syria, Iran, that nation ...
Because God makes no rejects, only Masterpieces
Who knew? A girl of Nazareth, a peasant, would be "THEOTOKOS"
- The One who carried God in the Womb - staggering ...
No wonder my India once worshipped through the linga-yoni
The Shiva stone representation of reproductivity
To show the fecundity, provision, multiplicity, through God
That power hidden inside the saints as Spirit: to obey
Dare to be a Mary, beyond the issue of gender, womb & phallus
Dare to be a Mary, birth the CHRIST child in you, with Spirit's aid:
After all, we are to be "Little Christs" in an otherwise dark world

IV
When I see the devotion to honor mothers and daughters
That no one (reading) is dead ... yet! I thank my mom, women in my lineage
"What is impossible with men, is possible with God,"
So said Gabriel, the Archangel in Luke chapter 1. Nativity!

A New Species

He said to her:
People or people-like species
With better amygdala and hippocampus
To recognize only love and peace stimulus
With no thirst for blood in psyche
For any purpose whatsoever
Except medical surgery
Is the door to a advanced species---
We have to evolve this way
A further sway towards Christs
The preceding plural is important
In case we don’t want to get further shortened
By terror weapon

You belong to a new species, she said
Why? He was all questions in his big eyes

Your amygdala is not like ours
Your hippocampus belongs to showers

She was all love and praise
He was at a little unease but said
If we can environ our thoughts
With struggle for flowers without stones
We may have much less groans
Fewer aching bones
No battle zones to frighten
It is possible if we can make possible
The environment for a creative perception
With no terror of destruction
With the weapon of human-specific standards
Of our life and State and nation
She was silent but not vacant
The starlight wrote their stories
Of love dew and grass
Hopes filling in the glass
Don’t deprive and amass
No fragile treaties
To divide and rule the species
She and he
New dreams beside the time stream
A delicate query
A prospective thesis
Of a new species
Following the
Continuous mutations in our genes
Through aeons and aeons
That we have been walking on the earth
Essentially in mirth

A Cowards Will

I gift to you this world my child
Alas its’ troubles I can’t tame
Others efforts I have reviled
On judgement day I’ll face the same.

I’ve seen the mosque where people weep
At times Christs’ church rocked to the core
and God’s chosen placed in trenches deep
Watched peace and love hijacked for war.

Cowards choose to say they’ve failed

So do not accept mans’ violent bent
Hate speech is bloodshed thinly veiled
Unity a gift from heaven sent.

When imam, priest or rabbi call
Hear love not hate to heal us all.

Lets Fly Away

I spread my wings to fly away,
I spread my wings not to die today.
My soul is being torn open now,
My soul will break free and not come down.

Noise and music fill my ears to a point of over flow,
it run's through my veins and pores out so slow.
It runs so wild and free,
not knowing where it wants to be.

So let me fly for Christs sake, all i want to be is free,
you hold me down long enough and you'll see that I'm a monster like you never seen.

Your Christ Your God Your Crown I

All has abandon you…

Destroy your Christ
your God
your idols
Hypocrisy
They will all fall apart!

Your Lords and your Artificial Christ!

Lay bear it’s mechanical heart
Rebuild it with gears wire electric fire
curve your craving for secret desires.

Destroy your christ in tin crowns!

These false images conspire
Tear it all apart
of hate and faults lights
Burn down the flawed façade!

Electron guns blaze twisted ideology
Corrupting theology & burning twins spheres, bright!

Spires reach to Heaven’s Gate
Where abandoned thrones wait
Watch the blood smeared thorns
Dry to rust
Nothing known
We all walk alone
All in the silence of heaven torn

Create your new Christ of love truth,
holy inferno
watch it resonate, detonate across the realm!

Watch towers tumble crumble turning burning falling apart destroy your Christ in his razor wire crown!

Case aside your deities
Lords of jaded tv stars,
broken multi-social media, warlords!

Abandon your Political anti-Christs,
strip-malls and desolate parking lots,

Worshippers of coffee halls, depart
Unplug from the web of dark hearts

The recognize false idols,
topple them down
Watch them collide, eradicate, intricate
spiral down

Destroy your Christ
your plastic God all your false idols!

Wonder how your dogma has abandoned you
Pray to your hollow Christ,
to your false god
Your Judas!

Bring down the hypocrisy
Destroy your Christ
your Broken God
your false idolized idols
They will all fall

All has abandon you…
Hypocrisy!

Pledge and Prayer

Pledge and Prayer

Complain and gripe of all the things
that happen in our schools
Yell and scream and carry on
like you're a bunch of fools

Be offended, feelings hurt
how could you dare to pray
What about the anti christs
won't let you have your say

Who cares about what's in the heart
they're changing all the rules
They don't care what made us great
there's no more prayer in schools

Offending those that don't believe
how could you be so crass
Tearing down america
take prayer away from class

Pledge allegiance in the schools
you're taking that away?
Fastest way to bring revolt
no more pledge or pray

There are a lot of countries
in this world where you can go
where you will have a "life time room"
if you aren't with the flow.....

Anterarch

her spine that musical instrument
I strummed plucking sounds chords and tones
in axis, the toothed vertebra
she turned her head saying she knew
everything I know she didn't know
about heathen nights and their shifting moons
or all jesus christs in christianity but it's a lie
as I climbed my fingers now in atlas
carefully completing the bone contour
even in her eye there was a grimace
the rain started at that unexpected time
hence the absurd and sudden silence of the dogs
before scared of the moonlight.
I have walked these medullary paths for centuries
watching a vertebrate world under warm skin
the panting breath of one who will love
and on the outside the metamorphosis that makes us replicate
honeyed songs and languid concepts of what's sensual
because the touch that compresses the column
squeezes and grabs the body planet by the spine
allows me to foresee the rheumatic pain of tomorrow
the thorny gorges we'll walk through in trauma
sneaking us away from the blatant truths
that no one really wants to know.

How

How will I decide my own fate?
Or has it been decided for me?
Will my skies be clear or blue?
Or will the days ahead be stormy?

I am now standing at the crossroads
Not knowing which way to go
Which path will lead me to where I'm headed
Which path, which rocky road?

I look ahead and see one path
The days ahead are clear
The other path promises storms and rain,
See the storm clouds gathering near?

The road that has the least resistance
Is the one that is tempting to take
But if I must suffer, bring on the rain
I'll suffer for Jesus Christs sake

Bring on the lightening, let it strike
Bring on the windy gales
With Christ as my captain, I'll ride with Him
Face the wind and raise my sails

Christ is my captain, I'm under Him
I must obey all His commands
If the path is rough, so be it Lord
I'll do as Your will demands.

So if the storm clouds rage round about me
I'll stand and have no fear
If the path I travel brings sadness
You'll wipe away every tear

I know sometimes when I get weak
Life's troubles have taken my song
I know it's in my weakness, Lord
In my weakness, You make me strong

How will I know my fate in life?
Through Faith I can clearly see
I'll stay close to Him who is leading me on
Because I know He is guiding me.
