Change your Tune

Is waiting in line at the store
More than just an occasional bore?

Is it vexing aggravation
Leading to complete frustration?

Well, this is just a state of mind
When you're waiting in a line

What you need's to change your tune
And make a vow to do it soon

Resolve to others to be kind
Make a friend; you've got the time

If you do this, you will find
That line is now a real gold mine

My Message to Trump

You say a word and set the world aflame
No thought to what the nations think or feel
The turmoil that we're in is not a game
I wish that you'd think twice before you deal

You are the leader of the USA
the super power here, the number one!
Yet you won't try to filter what you say
If you don't tone it down, your term is done!

Your daily twitter rants are full of rage
The nations quake and shake at what they read
that "sh$thole countries" comment, was that sage?
You shame your rank in word and yes, in deed

From day to day you change your tune and line
The walls you build are not the border kind
Supremacists act out; you give the sign
You've built divisive walls; to this you're blind!

I fear for what the future has in store
As missiles are at ready, hearts grow weak
You need to change your ways, do so much more
embrace the wisdom from outside your clique

Is there still time to turn our fate around?
Why don’t you make amends and speak of peace?
For black and yellow, red and white abound
Acknowledge all and let the tensions cease

Remember labels don’t define a soul
We are all equal, God has made it so
So stop the hate and make your nation whole
The world is watching, show that you can grow.

Move On

You're such a prat,
it's abundantly clear,
when it comes to women,
you have no idea!

You're a complete idiot,
you got it all wrong.
Change your tune,
sing a different song.

Why do you come
 knocking at my door?
When it's plainly obvious
I don't want you anymore.

Stop holding onto something
that is gone.
Time to change path,
time to move on.

Dark melody

Dark melody play....
Play a song that I shall dance to.
Play of the stars of the night
Play of the dusk to dawn
Play of the rhythm I lack in me

Dancing in the dark to a melody
A melody drawn out from the pit of darkness within me
And a type of sorrow longing to find itself
Feelings dress in clouds of a rainy day searching for its true form.

A black swan graced with beauty
Yet looking for one that reflects it's own darkness
A reflection in its self .
Dark melody won't you change your tune?
