Ten Bucks In His Left Shoe, Bold In His Steps
(Walking Traveler of Hope)
Walking, each life mile-straight as the crow flies
dancing when fair weather graced bright skies.
Ten bucks in his left shoe, bold in his steps
enemy to world's hatred and dark lies.
Traveler, seeking naught but joy and peace
sworn to defend those seeking hope's release.
Ten bucks in his left shoe, bold in his steps
vowing to make truth his life's centerpiece.
Of Hope, knowing man had such in his heart
belief and wisdom he sought to impart
Ten bucks in his left shoe, bold in his steps
truth's weapon, overcame evil ramparts
Walking Traveler of Hope, peace his goal.
All that he served, their grateful hearts he stole.

BUCKS COUNTY SUNSET AT STOVER-MYERS DAM
You see beyond the line of darkened trees
into red layered clouds of golden hue,
as setting of the sun makes light to please
observers of the art it's coming to;
a stillness comes upon a silent heart,
and words, as distant as the powder blue
beyond the tapestry, are still a part
of evening sky that night is coming to;
the jack-snipe dips in tune with how it feels
to know this time is almost yesterday
as darkness comes along, and then it steals
the words your heart could never find to say.
And as the world waits for one more sunrise
another majesty will light the skies.

Aye 'ee is fierce and hale.
Four mile to work,across the vale;
No slommakin' slattern 'ee,
Okkard as an itching flea.
Eee'd fetch hosses to boss's yard,
Garmed with mud,as thick as lard,
Cla'holt of 'em wiv a rope,
On is own,allus could cope.
Niver sees 'im vexed,or aggled,
Even if drenched and bedraggled;
In lightning 'e wore niver frit,
Though the whole sky wore fork-lit.
Grew peas that kidded well,
Allus 'ad a tale to tell.

Does the buck stop with you?
Whenever God gives you something you know it
I don't know if this is a gift or not
But I know that whenever whoever that comes to me
I would be the one who takes care of them
Put you in someone's shoes
They come to you for a reason
They are counting on you
They wouldn't think of you to help them
if they don't think you can help them
So there - be there
Be someone one can count on
Be there and be square
Square in the face
That is my new motto for you
Look at someone and say
"the bucks stop with me"
That may be
what is actually happening haha

Big Bucks and Florida
Ron Paul is a jolly colorful bloke
Send politicians to the moon he joked
But Florida requires big bucks to play
Perhaps in Nevada he will have his say.
Santorum wooed crowd when he debated
Called them out when records were inflated
Stayed home to be with sick daughter Bella
Short on money but a real good fella.
The air waves spewed anti-Newt negatives
Tired, Gingrich surely uttered expletives
Defiant, he says forty-six states to go!
Believes his populist movement will grow.
Spending seventeen million Mitt took command
With that much money his margin was grand
Looks acceptable when standing by wife Anne
But conservatives still do not trust the man.

I expected to be a millionaire or at least that was what I thought.
I killed a homeless man to get the lottery ticket that he bought.
When I demanded that he give me his lottery ticket, he refused to give it.
I stabbed him with my knife and I foolishly thought I would get away with it.
After I cashed in the lottery ticket, I received fifty million bucks.
But the Police traced the knife back to me and I was out of luck.
When I took that poor man's life, I stood there and watched him bleed.
I wouldn't be in jail and he'd still be alive if it hadn't been for my greed.
Please don't be greedy like I was because it's a terrible sin.
Because of my greed, I'll never see the light of day again.
(Even though this poem is fictional, greed really does drive some people to kill.)

A Million Bucks
So oh well the weather sure sucks
And if I now had a million bucks,
We'd leave Seattle and Carolina go;
Living's so easy and is always slow.
Sold home in Seattle and left the place;
Headed to Carolina at a rapid pace
And finally after we had arrived there,
Was greeted with great weather everywhere.
We enjoy new house which was built;
Had hamburgers and sweet tea we spilt.
After that me and my wife went inside
So she could cook our food southern fried.
Caught cat fish and was clawed by big crab;
To us, the whole place was totally fab,
But wish wife would try to quit her twitching
From mosquito bites she has been itching.

BUCKS COUNTY WINTER AT CABIN RUN CREEK
Icicles fall from rocks in silent rage
and turn the creek below to icy stone
all frozen white as winter sets the stage,
for playing out to God and you alone;
the lack of sound's apparent to the ear
and life is frozen from activity,
if you should snap your fingers, you would hear
it echoing from everything you see;
in black and white, the world brings on a spell
that makes the mind go blank from bitter cold
yet there is beauty here, no words can tell,
a seperation of the young and old.
The black and white is blinding to the eye
and you can see your breath that's drifting by.

Are you confused
Still chasing that first high
That you've been looking for since the first time
Before you wouldn't commit crime
Now you do it just to get bye
Awake with low eyes
Wishing you could just die
But not right now cause you've got to get high
Reconize you lost
Paid the cost for many
Living off pennies
GODS angel commited to sinning
Scorned from the begining
A merry-go-round that'll never stop spining
The snake never stoped deciving
A son deals to the mother
Who shares with the father
Who beats the brother
Who stabs the father
He's imprisoned for the rest of his life
Going to spend the rest of his days some man's wife
Wishing he never picked up that knife
The highs aren't changing
Still intoxicating
The first was amazing
Stop destroying and build up
You can lose your salvation over twenty bucks

When I got a job, the boss didn't tell me what he would pay.
The low life piece of scum only gave me three dollars a day.
That scum sucking dirt bag actually thought that I would love it.
Just like the song says, I told him to take that job and shove it.
I couldn't even buy a meal for three bucks.
He got mad when I told him that he sucks.
That S.O.B. black listed me so that I couldn't get another job.
When that jerk looked in his safe, he saw that he'd been robbed.
What he did made me madder than Hell and he soon got the picture.
I may be unemployed but at least I'm twenty-five thousand dollars richer.
(This is a fictional poem.)

have taken their toll

A Million Bucks for a 2005 Chrysler?
By Elton Camp
On e-Bay that’s the asking opening bid
For a clunker the owner wants to be rid
Car wasn’t much good when it was new
So how can such price being set be true?
Could it have parts made out of solid gold
Or is there some other reason it’s being sold
It’s original owner no need for it has seen
Since he is now riding around in a limousine
No armor plating in the Chrysler is there
So to use it now, he simply wouldn’t dare
Does the owner’s name to your mind spring
Was he ambassador, emperor or some king
If you think you know to whom it did belong
Post your answer and see if it’s right or wrong
