Ten Bucks In His Left Shoe, Bold In His Steps
Ten Bucks In His Left Shoe, Bold In His Steps
(Walking Traveler of Hope)
Walking, each life mile-straight as the crow flies
dancing when fair weather graced bright skies.
Ten bucks in his left shoe, bold in his steps
enemy to world's hatred and dark lies.
Traveler, seeking naught but joy and peace
sworn to defend those seeking hope's release.
Ten bucks in his left shoe, bold in his steps
vowing to make truth his life's centerpiece.
Of Hope, knowing man had such in his heart
belief and wisdom he sought to impart
Ten bucks in his left shoe, bold in his steps
truth's weapon, overcame evil ramparts
Walking Traveler of Hope, peace his goal.
All that he served, their grateful hearts he stole.
