Down where the tender buckeye grows
And soft green leaves exposed
The creek babbles over the rocks
Indians long disposed
I can hear the laughter of the child
Smiling faces all the while
The leaders making arrows sharp
Not knowing of coming trial

Traveling the Buckeye StateWe stopped in Cincinnati to see the cousins; that was a mistake.
We are still throwing them out of the car, they can hitchhike home.
We had never been there, and frankly seeing them was great.
