Premium Member The Poor In Spirit

God sees the poor in spirit* groaning in pain
Languishing in fleshly miseries where they’re slain
Being ruled by discouragement that’s vain
While hoping for His miracle to gain.
God invites them to immerse himself in His loving domain!

God hears them crying for divine aid and support
Excruciating from downfall’s discomfort
Wailing due to deceit and false report
While begging for His help, their ultimate resort.
God leads them to kneel with faith humbly before His gracious fort!

God knows them needing for urgent care
Beseeching for His assured welfare
Ailing with discontentment’s scare
While longing for His promises they treat as rare.
God brings them to His throne where at His blessings they can stare!

God understands them sighing anxiously
Expressing their complaints sorrowfully
Murmuring about unfairness grudgingly
While questioning their state bitterly.
God counsels them to seek His will meaningfully!

God recognizes them in their struggles against frustration
Succumbing to sinfulness’ oppression
Leaning toward welcoming desperation
While craving for His pardon’s restoration.
God grants them forgiveness upon confessing their iniquities of destruction!

God remembers them cringing in difficulty
Mourning over their self-inflicted calamity
Grieving because of worldliness-caused infirmity
While yearning for His joy and tranquility.
God cares for them with His mercy, guiding them by His light’s authority!

God pities them in their woes as they feel worthless
Wallowing in the futility of slothfulness
Afflicted with the guilt of fruitlessness
Pleading for His compassion and faithfulness.
God instructs them to serve Him thru His power to enjoy His bountifulness!

*Matthew 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Premium Member Enriched Personhood

Confronted with conflicting self-forces
my flesh groans in adversities’ braces
gripped by haughty human nature that reigns
over flawed sinful carnality strains.

Granted with grace of redemption by Christ
my soul owns His eternal life, blood-priced
along imputed righteousness divine
changing me from iniquities’ design.

Quickened toward God-consciousness delight
my spirit yields to Almighty light
striving to win own personal battles
smiting selfishness, pride and greed rattles.

Settling to choose best in dilemmas’ test
my faith seeks truth from Scripture wisdom nest
believing immutable verities
learned well from discipleship certainties.

Created in God’s image: wondrous deed
my essence is complete through Him indeed
made functional through ministerial acts
living for Him, reaching-out midst peace-pacts.

Staying in the center of the Lord’s will
my heart contented, with love He does fill
while satisfied by His faithfulness’ bliss
prospered in glad service I cannot miss.

Blest with uniqueness of distinct beauty
my being finds worth in Jesus’ bounty
He values me through His compassion wealth
enriching* personhood by divine health.

The Most Beautiful Flowers

Delicate are the ones with their ever so soft petals.
Drawn with amazing hues of pink, red, and blue.
For some are embodied in their protective nettles.
They are covered each morning with the dawn’s dew.
They are the ones the bumblebees fly to.
Some believe they are filled with magical powers.
The powers that bring things to anew.
For they are the most beautiful flowers.

When the day of the sun starts to settle,
The beautiful flowers gently lay in blue.
Sad that the sun has closed its petals,
But needing rest and peacefulness too.
So they lie in wait wondering what to do.
For the calm of night will interrupt with showers.
Gentle rain to replenish and make them new.
For they are the most beautiful flowers.

They arise in the morning with renewed mettle.
They bent at the tips for when the wind blew.
But no flower is lost in a puddle of petals.
Strong they stand and stable and erect, too.
Bountifulness in courage they never knew.
For they stand tall in their finest hour.
Brightly painted in many hues.
For they are the most beautiful flowers.

The sun shines radiantly and brings the morning dew.
They have proven they have gifted powers.
Ready to be picked by me and you.
For they are the most beautiful flowers.

Premium Member FAITH IN GOD WHO LIGHTS OUR LAMPS CONTINUALLY

February 9 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Leviticus 24-25

Key Verse – Leviticus 24:4 He shall order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before the LORD continually.

FAITH IN GOD WHO LIGHTS OUR LAMPS CONTINUALLY

God lights our lamps continually as we obey His commandments…
So privileged are we to go forward by faith against impediments
Since He calls us to march upward toward holy encampments
With His leadership upholding our obedience-propelled accomplishments.

God lights our lamps continually as we pitch upon His standard…
So blessed are we to follow Him by faith, our Captain and Guard
Since He sets us in His service-vineyard
With His orders directing us, every steward.

God lights our lamps continually as we stay in His holiness’ rank…
So joyful are we to remain by faith along righteousness-bank
Since He keeps us in His love, and Him we sincerely thank
With His sanctification according to His Word, divinely frank.

God lights our lamps continually as we praise His majestic name…
So grateful are we to be consecrated by faith along His ministry’s flame
Since He brings us into His watchfulness we can proclaim
With His instructions charging us to trust His promises we can claim.

God lights our lamps continually as we testify about His goodness…
So humbled are we to receive by faith His provisions’ bountifulness
Since He supplies us to share His gifts of graciousness
With His care nurturing us midst lovingkindness.

God lights our lamps continually as we work in His tabernacle…
So awed are we to witness by faith His might and miracle
Since He strengthens us to be vessels of honour by prayer-buckle
With His hand propping our labour we willingly tackle.

God lights our lamps continually as we live for His glory…
So excited are we to declare by faith His Gospel story
Since He exhorts us by His Word preached in His sanctuary
With His vision guiding our mission toward victory.

Premium Member Wardrobe Color Scheme

Blest with garments of varied hues and shades’ assortment
I practice an organized monthly color-scheme adornment…

January is greeted with vibrant green’s life-oozing zest
along moss, emerald and mint scarfs’ accenting best.

With blue motif of azure or cerulean in February
cyan-printed dresses match aquamarine-look accessory.

Pink for March as well as old rose and fuchsia of no doubt
makes watermelon lace with pomelo ribbon stand out.

April shimmers in yellow, gold and sunshine glow
showing skirts of mustard, canary with lemon flow.

May has cream and beige for modest apparel bliss
as blouses are pleased with flax and vanilla emphasis.

June delights in violet midst lavender and lilac beauty
allowing use of purple and magenta bags, surely pretty.

Cheering July onlookers are different black-speckled masks
parading shoes, leather or so-called ebony in mobile tasks.

This August* presents belts of bronze, cinnamon and brown
while wearing coffee or chocolate shawl without frown.

Orange awaits September with tangerine or amber trends
preparing handkerchiefs of carrot, squash and yam blends.

For October that highlights charcoal, ash, and gray
ready to be added is silver to my faith-anchored fashion-array.

November features raiment** that’s white or off-white
together with pearl, ivory and cotton polka dots on sight.

In December is red, alongside scarlet or maroon’s joyousness
with crimson and ruby attire, thanking God for His bountifulness.

*Next year will be another color-schedule.

**Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Premium Member Win Or Loss

When facing a “win or loss” challenging situation
What matters most is your heart and honest intention…
Are you motivated by God’s love or by personal ambition?
May you find yourself pleasing Him with your earnest dedication.

Knowing that you can either win or lose in your sacrifices
What matters most is for you to go through the right process...
Are you gaining or wasting in your experiences?
May you find yourself engaging in wise choices.

As you regard that you win when sowing with faith’s bountifulness
What matters most is your diligence coupled with zealousness…
Are you toiling well or enjoying pleasures of slothfulness?
May you find yourself enriched with good works’ fruitfulness.

Since you actually win, and not lose in genuine loving
What matters most is your right attitude in giving…
Are you truly a blessing to others or in selfishness’ delving?
May you find yourself reaching-out while God’s grace, receiving.

Because of “always winning, never losing in labour’s excellence” creed
What matters most is your truthfulness in word and in deed...
Are you merely showing off or striving for excellence as you lead?
May you find yourself doing your best part, devoid of greed.

Thus, for you to triumph* joyously and lose peacefully
What matters most is your sincere goal purposefully…
Are you aspiring for the temporal or the eternal gloriously?
May you find yourself living for God in serving people gladly.

The Changeling

I am the newly born face of munificence, unquenchable beauty.
My tides are full with bountifulness, like an orchard to the table.
My fleece radiates guiltless white, bestowed like a lamb, fresh
upon its mother. And the flight of a newborn world is upon the wing

My once childish demeanour has grown into a handsome face,
with the offer of a pristine horizon as dowry. And the fruits from
the fleur de mer are bound for the land, to walk amoung its forests
and cultivate its soil. Free of tarnish and burnished by a new sun

As the cloud's rivers carry food along my valleys, carved
by mighty glaciers, the King Fisher learns its trade and
apes are low in prominence. As yet to chase the flame
and its future dividend

But, as with any river, there are two shores upon which to live.
And there are signs that a sheep in wolf's clothing stands two
legged and tall upon the other shore. And like the changing of
the seasons, too soon its cold has become warm and its warm
become hot. Wrapping a ring of savage finality about itself

On that bank, benevolence has changed a once accepting face,
to one of prideful leers. And the once responsible mien of its
manhood has lately become the childish game of a drunken
fool to be frittered away, like so many coins

And changing tides recede onto unredeeming shore lines, as a
water fall's once prized cascade becomes scorched by a pitiless
sun. And yet. My heart still resonates with the cries of a dying
humanity and should our eyes and ears only perceive it, there

is time to nurture this changeling yet. To cross the river and
force back the spears of gluttony that have breached this paradise.
To grasp the hands of an entire peoples despair and lift them up,
like a father to a child and the righteous to the atoned

For without this change of games pursued, we leave behind a
dessicated husk of rock. To become one of many such trinkets
that orbit the lights in the night sky.

In God’s loving kindness---
Take care of yourself prayerfully
…settled in His graciousness
While you share His goodness
Of blessings’ bountifulness.

By God’s supreme authority---
Take care of yourself serenely
…acknowledging His Word’s certainty
For you to teach with integrity
His truths’ infallibility.

Take care of yourself circumspectly
…upheld by His protection and instruction
Before you help the needy in their affliction
Toward triumphant problem-solution.

With God’s perfect wisdom---
Take care of yourself steadfastly
…guarded by His granted freedom
As you lead others to His kingdom
From vanity’s boredom.

In proclaiming the Gospel devoid of doubts’ trace
Testifying about redemption and eternal life’s brace.

March 1 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Joshua 10-12

Key Verse – Joshua 10:8 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Fear them not: for I have delivered them into thine hand; there shall not a man of them stand before thee.

LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY PEACE-GIVING DELIVERER

Lord God, You are my peace-giving Deliverer…
… against smiting fear
Thank You for helping me with Your salvation so dear
In order for me to encamp in Your will’s gear
So that I can stay in Your presence, and to Your heart, always near.

Thank You for hearkening to me for my plea as Your beloved daughter
In order for me to seek Your plan around Your purpose-center
So that I can stand strong while to Your ministry-hall I enter.

Lord God, You are my peace-giving Deliverer…
… with Your reviving commandment
Thank You for hiding me in Your victory of sword’s empowerment
In order for me to remain in Your grace-settlement
So that I can pass through trials’ faith-refinement.

Lord God, You are my peace-giving Deliverer…

So that I can dwell in Your heavenly country of blissfulness.

Lord God, You are my peace-giving Deliverer…
… along Your eternal deliverance
Thank You for hallowing me for Your kingdom-treasures’ insurance
In order for me to serve You with gracious endurance
So that I can combat spoiling corruption for Your Gospel’s furtherance.

Lord God, You are my peace-giving Deliverer…
… assuring me battle victory
Thank You for hindering me against iniquity’s fury
In order for me to climb up Your mountain of faithfulness-territory
So that I can abide in Your divine inheritance-glory.

Lord God, You are my peace-giving Deliverer…
… upon Your reigning foundation
Thank You for holding me by Your authoritative position
In order for me to go up toward maturity-perfection
So that I can hurdle valley-temptation and wilderness-persecution.

The Eye of the Temptress

Weary of sleep, I trudge on and on
Finding no haven, the last remnants of hope gone
When suddenly I see an inn embracing the bay
“Descend here at ‘The Temptress’”, it says
At the very entrance is a portrait of a mistress
The place, they say is named after this temptress
But alas! She is no more the writing below the portrait states
So saddening are the words ‘Late Miss Mary Brace’
I enter and order myself a gin
The temptress’s beauty plundering my mind like sin
Gin after gin, down my throat it flows
Outside the wind and storm bellows
With time I feel someone’s gaze upon me
I turn back and it is a figure in black it seems
Clad in a veil, hidden in darkness
Mystery emanating from her in all its bountifulness
She gets up and prepares to leave
Midway, halts in her trail, looks back and beckons me
Hypnotised I follow, the gin making me sway
I try and see her face but to no avail
Her footsteps echo against the earthen floor
In symphony with the thunder outside that roars
She turns a corner and a flash of light falls on her face
But all I can see is her eye, a sparkling green jade
Familiarity strikes me, I have seen her before!
With no answer, my mind is rattled to the core
When she slowly lifts her veil
My heart threatens to burst when I see it is Mary Brace!
She hovers in the air, her frame surrounded by a glow
Before she finally disappears in a whirl of mist and snow.
