that are written
and delivered?
they are already set
in the Other's
firmament.
the numbers 
of time
in a heart 
marked singular,
and transparent,
the soul’s promises
kept and unkept
in contract,
the foregone
conclusions
for page turning
calculating prophets,
pure and impure 
the many 
gains and losses
in the Other's
assumed...
