The Horizon

Feel the summer wind,
Rolling through the sky.
I’m missing a friend,
who’s said goodbye.
Though the storm is ending,
remnants remain.
Wounds that need tending,
for a mind still pains.
The cartoons play behind,
background noise for a night.
If I could I’d rewind,
and never let passion leave sight.
Turning backwards,
searching through time.
A forewarned hazard,
halting the climb.
Memories come calling,
I’m thinking of you.
I feel like I’m falling,
could we make it through?
Lost and alone,
I’m prepared to find the way.
A light has shown,
haunting thoughts left at bay.
The journey has paused,
but I hope it’s not the end.
Look at the sadness I’ve caused,
I’m so sorry my friend.
A time spent to wizen,
a feeling of behove.
One day upon the horizon,
I hope we’ll fall again in love.

That's Life

The bubbles of wealth
used to rise in the glass
and tingle on my lips.
The label that I wore with verve
Skimmed lightly cross my hips

Hair in fashionable disarray
I’d sashay round the town
Always remembering to cross
My knees whenever I sat down

I was finished y’know in
Switzerland.  I folded napkins there
And learnt to act in a modest way
That behove a lady fair

In scarlet I went hunting
And found myself a beau
Not the handsomest of gentlemen
But he did have a chateau

I bathed in foreign sunshine
and royalty were friends
But it was just illusion
And soon the summer ends

And now its only tea
That’s sipped from paper cups
No more the trips to Henley
or Badminton or such

Gold has now turned silver
and my hips are not my own
and should I try to cross my knees
I’d likely break a bone

Soak It . . .

Pouring down its torrents of warmth
I look up to behove this splendid sight
Beaming love and happiness on all around
Earth drenching its goodness into the ground

Each flower peeps out its sensual soul
Slowly soaking in this serene whole
Each amphibian basking in delirious abandon
Coveting each moment in secret longing

Avarice and greed, facetious noneties
All hold back and surrenders in peace
As I deliciously embrace this soul from above
Filled with wholesome and pure sublime love

Sauntering through this intimate slumber
Barefoot and unabashed I inhale this wonder

Premium Member The Original Mistake

Our earthbound concepts stifle and betray.
By living in the now, our every move’s
testimony to desires wrought in tales.
Our actions marred by spectacular fail,
but many lessons learned are treasure troves,
still earthbound concepts stifle and betray.
From numerous relationships I’ve bailed;
the eager lovers passing by in droves,
testimony to desires wrought in tales.
Often condemned by society, Holy Grail
of idealism that rebounds, and strove
by earthbound concepts stifled and betrayed.
Some friable notions foisted upon hale
and hearty folk who similar’ behove
testimony to desires wrought in tales.
We cleave to original mistake,* nailed
by brazen sillage† of the sin of love
for earthbound concepts—stifled and betrayed.
Testimony to desires wrought in tales.

NOTES
*‘Technically, sin itself was a Christian invention, a mistranslation of the Hebrew word chait, meaning error, a mistake.’ From the novel The Secret Purposes, by David Baddiel.

†Sillage in perfume refers to the aura or trail created by a perfume when it is worn on the skin. It comes from the word in French for ‘wake’ and can best be described as how a fragrance diffuses around the wearer. Sillage or diffusion in fragrances can also be called the ‘projection’ of a fragrance.

In Love Suspense

All of a sudden ,I can't stop thinking about you,
You're becoming an essence to my existence
Out of this feeling,there is no breakthrough,
It's so intense in me,with great suspense.

Trying to recall how all this drama started,
You,in absentia was introduced to me,by your lover
Your name was stunning as he mentioned
And then swore to love you forever

Some years moved forth and we met,
Coincidentally at the same university,
The much you loved your guy made our first chat
We then met frequently and there was propensity

I can't forget that first night we cuddled at chill,
We danced together,and there was a feeling of love,
You were so romantic even at a standstill
But the night after hardly entailed love

I hardly know what lies in your heart
If I should fall in love or stop the nonsense
If there's any feeling that I behove or not
If cuddling,caressing and kissing you will be an offense

Love's Quest

by Michaelw1two

Inspired by Kah Mee Lee

 Love's wonder at once questioned,
 a soul with pen in hand;
 script dripping of loveliness,
 avowed her mind as grand;
 a dreamy twelfth sign princess,
 who lacks a wedding band;
 seeks a lifetime partner,
 to entwine in her own strand.

 So wander mind to picture,
 the essence of her young soul;
 mind full of spirit inviolate,
 heart reaps suitors extol;
 serenity spills from her voice,
 in song felt nature role;
 spirits bless her being,
 life's music guides her stroll.

 Born of oceans breezes,
 love inflamed by sweet soft sand;
 naturally a life taste,
 of milk from coconut palm stands;
 body tone by sun and surf,
 exotic smile waves understand;
 her sweat an island essence,
 her love at heart's command.

 Bliss in life a sweetest youth,
 filled by trust in love;
 ecstatic in heart and soul,
 life versed in parts thereof;
 reaching out suggestively,
 with words of thoughts above;
 for one love plied hand to hand,
 compassion will behove.

 This woman seeking love of man,
 quest pairs natural life;
 what treasure she would bring,
 for truth to take as wife;
 could a love's pearl prove divine,
 end her aching strife;
 bind one heart in her soul,
 give life to her true light.

A Different Kind of Love

In the bible it says"wives submit to your husbands"
 And "husbands love your wives"
 I would sit and read this often pondering over the words.
Puting all the peices together as if my life was a crossword.
This verse is very true but maybe only pertaining to you.
 When you meet that someone for you there is one thing you know is true,
 The love for them is more abundant and so profuse.
 The sparkle in there eyes and the movement of there lips,
Is like your favorite wine and you savor it with sips.
You know your ment to be when ur hands conform to there skin,
Just like this peice of paper and soft point pen.
 There is just one thing I don't understand,
 What about those girls who don't want a man?
Those girls who get fluttery feelings about a female.
When I told my mother this her face went pale.
 Rejected,made fun of, laughed at and mentaly drained.
I cried out to God asking him if I would be anything but lame.
God loves us for who we are not who we love.
I thought this and reread that ver in my own behove. Wives submit to your wives, and husbands love your husbands.

The Invitation (To Jw)

Come dance with me, I hear the band
Of birds and cricket playing
Quadrille, or mento, now take my hand
The earth on love is turning

Come lie with me, the grass is green
Too wet the golden sand
The dew and mist will be our screen
Our garden all the land

Come share my life, and let me love
Your soul as my heart's queen
We will take each joy ... a gift from above
From passions from joy we glean

Come solace me, and i will solace you
We two little morning dove
Let night be a polka dot of stars, and morning blue
Feast of me, and drink my love

Come dance with me, and be my love
Our bodies twain embrace as one
And we entwined as God behove
Will build our castle in the tropic sun.

Blossom

Over the moon?
Below the stars!
Betwixt a waking dream and benumbing reality ...
A baby-faced blossom tries to summon up its courage
before faring on a quixotic quest to face the raging current
that all the while
is threatening to engulf it if it does not swallow its pride.
But once again,
it falls short of breath
and succumbs to the roars of the intimidating tide.
It dilly-dallies:
rarely in a carefree manner …
mostly in restrained desire ...
Subjugated? Nay!
For it hankers after freedom and yearns for defiance.
Subdued? Aye!
And how on earth can it aspire to sham feats of resistance
when it is evermore compelled to don unbefitting attire?
Oh, the poor naïve blossom!
What a shame it is to be an entity of irreconcilable paradoxes!
How come it hearkens to the harp of silence singing the tunes of (re)birth
while listening silently to the deadening melody of the obscure choir?
Does it behove it to pop its head through the few exit doors left ajar
when it does not dare to lift the latch and follow the light?
Yet, on an afterthought: why be so harsh on so fragile a creature
that is attuned to the ebb and flow of nonsensical waves?
A tamed cry is still a cry: a call for help, a call for life!

A Message To War Combatants

A MESSAGE TO WAR COMBATANTS.
Nzongi N. Mwero.
Cell phone +254727254534.

A punishment by fire,
Should not behove anyone,
The adversary should not be burnt alive,
No attack to a wounded soldier,
Or a journalist,
Or a soldier who is not fit for the fight.

No prisoner should be out to the gun,
No one should be tied to be killed,
No one should beheaded,
Or mutilate the corpse of the enemy
Stop showing horrible videos of the dead.

Let the dead or injured be taken
By their fellow comrades,
No captivity their throat shown cut,
Or any live body parts mutilation.

Booty of war from the battle ground,
Consists of wealth and provisions,
Never pillage or plunder,
Or destroy residential areas,
Or harm the property of anyone not in war.

No guilty of breach of the faith,
Prohibit the breach of treaties,
Settle the terms of the treaty,
Never show unparalleled examples,
And respect the settlement,
Not deeply touched grieved by the past,
Move forward and think about the future.

Have Been Crying For Bryan

are in a pickle
money down failed to trickle
chopped up with cycle

had been requester
of who would be a tester
about sequester

God never provoke
thinks our job is a big joke
saved me from a stroke.

went to sleep last night
then woke up bushy and bright
tailed quite a sight
(became a stalactite)
(went out and flew kite)
(be nice guy I might)
(of breakfast took bite)

God will save our soul
bring back to Him is His goal
my heart away stole.

have some sins to spare
various vaccine shall share
for us they did care

learned new language
when you will much anguism
in always languish

overcome is goal
suffering did take its toll
God pleas make me whole

an opposing view
either accept or refuse
has been current news

we had so much fun
but now those days are all gone
past away would run

from us he did leave
and for we will grieve and grieve
in God we believe

sins God will remove
which will cause things to improve
us he did behove

for Bryan Have Been crying

We will love Bryan
great person no denying
for him are crying

Premium Member What Causes Love

What causes one to fall in love;
   perhaps it’s caused by moon above,
         or gentle breezes giving shove;
      what causes one to fall in love?

What causes soft and gentle sighs;
   perhaps the beauty in her eyes,
         or just some dream that we surmise;
      what causes soft and gentle sighs?

What causes hearts to beat so fast;
   perhaps her scent as she walks past,
         or just the die of fate as cast;
      what causes hearts to beat so fast?

What causes passions to ignite;
   perhaps the calmness of the night,
         or just the need of love’s delight;
      what causes passions to ignite?

What causes one to fall in love;
   I ponder deeply thoughts thereof;
        perhaps it’s merely life’s behove
     that causes one to fall in love.

Senryu On Cellular Reality

( Hitlers)

Nations joyously
celebrate independence.
No freedom yet
from shrouded Hitlers.

Chairs they behove
vindictive and corrupt.
Servile prostrate before
tyrannical eye.

Play In Water

In the pipe of thoughts,
Something was left blocked,
It could not occur,
Long till the time clocked,
They shook and shoved,
What was stuck was thus,
Not budging it refused to behove,
It was as if motors had jammed,
And gears rankled,
It was a bundle of stray thoughts,
That were clamouring for link,
It was indeed a battle well fought,
Some sound came after a lot of exertion,
One of them had moved,
And in some shape it got proved,
Now another moved and laughed,
As if mocking the effort,
Belittling the poor bloke,
That was attempting the sort,
Let me help out by a fraction of an inch,
Perhaps that would suffice,
And get foundation edifice,
It beckoned its mates,
Though they were pretty late,
The thoughts moved by chemicals,
That they ate and consumed,
And moved with grudging concurrence,
To their preslated place,
As soon as the link clicked,
A blinding light too blinked,
The 'idea'was formed,
And flowed like water,
 As if freed from dam,
It was the first real play in water,
Very painful though it was,
It did not at all matter.
