Best Beaulieu Poems
On an early spring morning, butterflies
flutter among dancing leaves,
While windsongs float within a breeze
As the monarch flies
In a field long forgotten,
Purple cues in orchid motifs
welcome the gift of spring
with sun kissed glee
When the wind blows,
Soft scarlet flutters of
hummingbirds in flight
caress a flower with wings,
as petals make waves
like ripples in the pond
Beyond the breakers, on distant shores
a sunset serenade,
with rainbow colored camouflage,
plays a sunset lullaby.

LADY SOUPERS LIMERICKS
Jan Allison, Brenda Chiri, Dear Heart, Andrea Dietrich, Lu Loo, Tania Kitchin, Anne-Lise aka Sunshine Smile, SKAT A, Poet Destroyer, Line Gauthier, Kim Rodrigues, Joyce Johnson, Susan Ashley, Caren Krutsinger, Sara Kendrick, Carrie Richards, Rhoda Tripp, Nette Onclaud, Debbie Guzzi, Eileen Manassian, Dane Ann Smith-Johnson, Eve Roper, Sandra Haight, Heidi Sands, Beata Agustin, Anisha Dutta, Linda-Marie Sweetheart, Carolyn Devonshire, Jeanne McGee, Kim Merriman, CayCay Jennings, Darlene De Beaulieu, Connie Marcum Wong, Nicole Brandy, et al
They all are 'Souper' ladies you know
Though some may come and some may go
But on this you can rely
None of them is really shy
They say just what they want you to know
Their poems may be directed to a man
And I along with hundreds are their biggest fan
Some write stuff that's bawdy
But none of them are haughty
Some singles may say catch me if you can
They seldom seem to lose their muse
Write on any topic they choose
They all are so sweet
And you'll never meet
A group good enough to walk in their shoes

New Future Of The
Internet
Cable cost are up
too high
You turned to the
internet and so have
I
My Youtube channel
is the way to go
Now I can even make
video shows
I group the videos
to make a show
To bring you the
best of where I go
For kids the mower
and stove videos
I also have vehicles
and some scarecrows
Kids can watch from
morn til night
with lots of things
for a kids delight
Light houses, ship
building, and horses
too
Antique barn yards
and tractor pulls
just for you
Aviation, taxidermy,
and crafty wood
works
Viewwithme Youtube
has all the quirks
The historical homes
make a great tour
Contest and oxen
pulls are never a
bore
Animal friends, I
haven’t forgotten
you
I have horses, dogs,
cows and sheep too
Plenty of petting
pens and milking for
you
And a simple click
is all you have to
do
A lot of shows with
a mix for all
Like demolition
derby or a stunt so
tall
So if you dropped
the cable and you
have a need
I have three
channels for you to
see

Harness Racing ( Poem )
Horses pull a two wheeled cart
If it breaks you will depart
Place a bet before it starts
Good wager wins if played smart
Riders ready at the gate
Fans no longer have to wait
Athlete sport with high speed
Is a skill you surely need
At times a horse can fall down
Sad to see that come around
Last turn has crowd in a roar
We wait to hear close end score
If your looking to explore
My playlist has so much more

Kids Love For Animals ( Poem )
Children’s favorite shows are of animals
I have hours in a playlist that are laughable
Like a camera pecking rooster and fun monkeys
To a mom and a baby miniature donkeys
Videos of wild turkeys and charming geese
Ducks in water and chicks learning to speak
Dazzling ostrich and many free birds
Some you would not want to move towards
A large unique animal is the alligator
The total opposite of the caterpillar
Camels and alpacas are tall and exquisite
But they spit at you when you try to visit
There are also hornpout and catfish videos
and a painted box turtle that is really slow
Beautiful miniature horses and elegant ponies
Border collies herding sheep to earn their trophies
Little kids pig scramble is stunning to see
and a little fawn as precious as can be
Cow’s hair that needs braiding is fascinating
With the most assortment you’ve ever seen
Come to my view with me youtube channel
If the kids are being hard to handle
Just start it up and walk away
To get your housework done for the day

(On the Opposite Sides)
When you cry i'll come running/
down where the lilies bloom/
beneath the willow tree,/
a farmer's field/ of war and peace/
echoing vacant sound,/ pain, pain go away./
Big brother/ you are in my blood/
the flower of the nations youth,/
when the Bugles called/
opposites join the opposites/
family torn apart,/
the fusillading of a freedom fighter/
stepping through time/
under bridges and out of mind./
Another soldier died today/
unanswered questions/
the battle between body and spirit,/
war will get it's due./

Darlene De Beaulieu graciously consented for her poem "Gnomes" to be used by me in this contest. Thank you Darlene!
There’s no gnome
like the gnome at home.
I have a gnome at home alone.
Chantilly, Chris, or Charlie -
they’re friends for you and me.
Your tumbler sweet
sure is neat to greet
you no matter where is the street,
but remember no gnome is known
like the gnome that waits at home.
Gnomes – Darlene de Beaulieu
I love the gnomes
I m drawn to them
One time I had twelve
I named all of them
I named him Chris
He holds a gift for me
Another one I named
Charlie
I have a tumbler
With gnomes and hearts
shapes
When waiting in a line
It called out to me
So I bought it
I take my tumbler
everywhere I go

A many talks I have
a phone chats with mom and dad
Facebooking my friends
Long after dinner time
And if I really think about communication
the old fashion way
I call them upon my land-line
What's a land-line
And what ever happen to Northeastern Bell
well
that's how we talk to each other human to human
But when I wake up in the new day
I fall on my knees
and chat wit God as I pray
Oh! I fall on my knees
and have a chat wit God as I pray
What's the matter, got all this chatter on Twitter
Space chat is what's up, what is that
Does any one Email any more
And what is a phone booth
And does anyone remember Mother Goose
Facebooking my friends
Long after dinner time
And if I really think about communication
the old fashion way
I call them upon my land-line
What's a land-line
And what ever happen to Northeastern Bell
well
I Snap chat, Google and Verizon, Teen Mobile CenturyLink
All this downloading and less and or no praying
now before you fall asleep
with the phone in your hand
because your mind got over headed by all your Texting
I got a better communication
But when I wake up in the new day
I fall on my knees
and chat wit God as I pray
Oh! I fall on my knees
and have a chat wit God as I pray
But when I wake up in the new day
I fall on my knees
and chat wit God as I pray
Oh! I fall on my knees
and have a chat wit God as I pray
Anytime, every time anywhere I don't care
Stop talking space head
fall on my knees
and have a chat wit God as I pray

When you are in troubling times;
And things are tumbling down;
There are many caring people around;
Blessings,
Blessings, My friend
If you still think here people yet food;
Then you really, really don't know;
Blessings,
Blessings, My friend
People say bless you
Blessings to you
My friend be bless, we pray that you get out of this mess, Blessings;
Blessings to you;
Blessings be true;
Blessings to you;
Stay ever true
Believe it shall be true, blessings to you
So when you're tried and trued;
When you're sadden and blue
Feeling lost a bit miss used
All is not lost, the Lord got your back;
Just relax, God got your back
Just believe, that you will receive prayers from others;
We believe in you
It's gonna be, gonna be OK
Somewhere always someone somewhere always, always praying for you
Be at peace, let release
Prayers be yours true
Blessings to you

Lyric
The new poet craved a just tad of attention,
Not realizing others were at a poet laureates'convention.
Or, let's say, that was simply their disdain and heartless ideation!
I took her sincere hand, and told her that her poem was truly grand.
Her eyes lit up, as though hearing a big band!
I felt so good giving another a smiling hand.
I do know what it's like to be new.
And those first, warm supportive comments come into you.
Hope, optimism then rise and gleam brightly, how true!
" Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you."

The birds flutter along the stone path to the colorful garden
they are searching for food to feed their hungry babies
the sunflowers sway near the bench smiling at the new babies lives
Across the bench is a huge pond one bird swims there now
In the sky the ducks and geese come to cool off from the hot sun
They fly their wings and splash in the cool water
They glide in peace across cloud filled refection
Content to fly to their destination

Oh where,oh where is she
My wondrous Darlene De Beaulieu ?
In my heart do I see her face
Radiant with poetic grace
A handsome place is her fortune
And poetry both her sun and moon
With kindest comments she does encourage
Those whose lesser works others might disparage
This feeble eulogy to her do I dedicate
And may she e'er find herself in good estate.
