My love,
her hair,
sweet beauty,
garlands, crown;
My love,
her face,
ever true,
the fairest,found;
My love,
eyes,
deep pools,
silent semaphores;
My love, lips,
perfect petals,
welcome with a kiss;
My love,
her breasts,
soft blossoms,
pillow my desire;
My love,
her thighs,
passion's flower,
cushion my caress;
Her love
my love,
envelope ectasy,
endowed in love's embrace
Consumed under infinite sunless night;
Its uncountable fixed flickering stars,
With tendrils tender love and a lullaby,
Mid quiet indulgent heaven, it dost sings.
Swell of explosive unsated love seeks
Warm wisp embrace, of thy intimate whole.
The merit fragrant scent of thy utter love
Awakes a wanderer of mine emboldened heart.
Thy presence summons by mine fervor love.
Waves melt upon lips of ours sweet ayre, whilst
Painting gentle and slow on the palette
Of own fitful quenching passionate heartbeat.
Thee complete me in dreams of harmony,
As we dance in choral gracefulness whilst we
Grow in shimmering reflections enshrouded
In the darkness of flickering of moonlight.
Dreams poetically fulfilled.

Ebony and ivory, noted for sound,
Digital playback, sleight of hand.
Songsters echo, vibrant pound,
Upright, organ, cottage, grand.
Strings attached, taut with suspense,
The Master Key hammers home
Letters of note; chords of tense,
Past and present; timed metronome.
Naturally played with flat and sharp
Sweeping the board. Ayre of nonchalance.
Orchestral manoeuvres performed with harp
Brass and wind; counter balance.
Peddled depression, ayer lingers on
Distant wave; caressed...pianissimo.
Emotive conductor, under the baton
Chorused voice harks, keyed to the piano.

'Tis with heart heavy meownself so say~
That which doth trouble me then thus this day~
'Twere she a schooner fine & so grand~
'Twere not she longer in mind's eye demand~
I've swept me brow with turmoil~
Foundered me sets with gargoyle~
Rounded well Horn a'winter cold~
Naught whot ayre e'er thus bold~
She's a'down well nigh a'weather~
Runnin' now light as lost feather~
Smirk now a'from under 'er bow~
Alas! 'Tis e'er whot ayre a'blow~
'Tis a'sea whot ayre 'er goal~
Akin mare & silliest foal~
Nay! Not yet cries voice below~
She with sea doth yet smoothly flow~

"Damn Bird"
All the King's Corsairs & Grand Sailors them all!
Went to winds in efforts enthralled~
Ken o'lone sailor whot's ayre so then gone~
Nay naught e'er whot's seen any day's dawn~
For once they did'st sail seas then so steep~
Naught o'fear o'anywhot's ayre 'er deep~
& the corsair's king has gone off to sleep~
Arrrrggh...then did'st a'come a'thunder & gale~
Off far away from a distance seen her sail~
Sloop sleek & stealth by her wake~
Hard into harbour fast did she make~
'Round embattlements under cannons hard roar~
O'er her topmast that damned bird did soar~
Eye at meown & hard as cobalt~
As if it all were meveryown fault!~
Now did'st damn bird aloft at me back~
Find in me mainsheet a tad o'such slack~
As to lay 'er booms wind'ard & set all a'back~
A'baft shall we then ride as one with a tide~
Blown 'ard fer lee shore & set to 'er rail~
Damn 'er foine line settles well in tall swell~
Cut now merry little sloop o'er those waves~
Fer damned if ya don't ye be a landsman & knave~
Begone silly bird yer toime 'as run through~
Such glass as ye know 'tis known but by few~
For all such 'as sailed seven seas~
E'er 'er tantrums & fury to please~
For all then they whot's e'er a'sea~
Such sea whot they didst tease~
Nay~Nay~ Off with ye now~
Damned bird 'overin' at me bow!
Ne'er ne'er shall a day be again~
Whot ayre me 'ad call any damn bird me friend~
Feathers whot 'as all they got good~
Better yet whot's ayre them's all but food~
Off'n me rigging damn bird ye drat~
Off'n me spars whot 'ave ye that~
Out from me cabin & away from me bow~
Out or I'll be a'chasin' ye now~
Woe be damn day whot brung such a bird~
Not ne'er o'such 'ad e'er been 'eard~
Chewin' me spars & flailin' me lines~
All round me boat & under me chines~
Where be me wind to blow off this beast~
When does me waves take away this tiny feast~
Send me a monster of feathery touch~
If'n me 'as to be put up with such~
Off damn bird & outta me 'air~
Out with ye now I'll give ye a scare~
Fly like an Eagle so ye say ye do~
Ne'er no Eagle were that which ye knew~

So sailed they then o'er seas well spent~
Torn their skys & mastheads back bent~
Under their bowsprits well to a'sea~
From ravages o'wind did'st they then flee~
Down from their bulwarks & under their keels~
Sharks & Dorados & green Moray eels~
Mermaids a'singin' shantys o'love~
Sailin' a'sunder moon black above~
Marseilles & Gibraltar they sailed all a'tune~
Meldemi & Cyclones & greatest Typhoon~
Thallasa & Caribbean with Sargasso a'drift~
Sails o'wind & bows so swift~
Madagascar & Seychelles then great Horn~
O'seas o'which all tales ayre born~
Azorians Atlantians e'er so wanderin'~
Ocean's depths naught fer a'ponderin'~
Equator thus crossed once & then twice~
Tropic o'Cancer & towerin' white ice~
Gales blown wildly o'Cape Verde's storms~
Life's blood then o'ethereal forms~
Down down down did'st they go~
Sailors o'seas when winds did'st so blow~
Round 'round 'round & about~
Ships & sailors verily so stout~
Cliffs o'Dover & Isle o'Man~
Fjords o'Vikings so 'twas a'plan~
Off then across blue wide & deep~
They to themselves a promise to keep~
Ne'er again seen were those hands~
O'ships then so sailed a'far distant lands~
Sails black & torn o'hell bent~
Hulls a'twisted & minds well spent~
Under they went to bottom at last~
Down deep steps & into cold past~
Sailors all & lives o'great deed~
Years so destined o'hearts in such need~

" Sailor's Glee "
Now comes ol' sailor a'full o'glee
Down town wharf to set a'sea
Stumbled tripped he so did
Lost to him his dozen quid!
Down dark mole into wake
O'merry sloop set sail did make
Booty lost such thus so
Treazure gone before moon glow!
Oh Me! Oh My! Whot's in me eye?
'Twas such could'st be a firefly?
Nay! Nay! Naught such thus silly thought
Fer a'tuppance 'ad me grog been bought!
Methinks meshould 'ave gone to wood
If'n only 'twere so I could
Yet now metoime 'as come & gone
'Tis such as naught but silly song!
As only sailors might so sing
A'fright all birds off to wing
Done ayre they o'landman's blues
Seek so now they 'nother krewe!
Off to go a'set more sail
Catch those winds from North do wail
Bound again to welcome wonder
N'er consider landsought blunder!
Waves & winds & seas so deep
As thus from glum their minds did'st keep
North then went such soggen krewe
Drippin' wet with fog & dew!
'Til day did'st come sun a'burst
Woke in them such sudden thirst
Port the ship! Hail that shore!
Outta grog must 'ave some more!
Rammed town wharf with 'er sprit
Down 'er tops'ls all a'split
O'er rails onto mole
Each & every sailor soul!
Run to tavern get that grog
Naught at sea but soggy fog
We krewe shall sit now with our lasses
'Tis best thus such way time passes!
Now as they sat & all lassies danced
Aloft did'st brew such winds o'force
As such to break all but sea chance
So off again set sailors forth!
Thus came all sailors a'full o'glee
Down town wharf to set a'sea
Stumbled tripped they so did
Lost to them last dozens quid!

" Krewe "
Them they whot sail ayre apt naught
Bein' whot ayre so sailors once caught
Agin a'so 'twere had them a choice
Ne'er nay ne'er spaek so a'voice
Ship's cat twere ne'er a'so well spent
As at her ships lads naught o'moind bent
Twas not for her cap'n a'doomed she'd be
Deep down so her hulk a'bottom o'sea
Nay naught ayre some twould be o'moind
A'sayin' whot ain't whot's truest o'all
No ship whot's a'sail in any seas foine
Has krewe whot's got such unmittin' gall!
Naught be a ship whot sails her helm
Crost any sea nor through any realm
Has at her helm all thems o'her decks
Aye! fer surely she'd be soon a'wreck!

" 'Tis Calm Methinks "
'Tis calm methinks so thought doth do~
Has me to wonder what next o'this few~
Sails a'luff & seas thus abate~
'Tis naught such as this 'twould e'er be me fate~
Wind! Wave! Tumult! Onslaught!
Ye all ayre such as ne'er 'twere naught!
Drat & Damn.... Avast yer great flee~
A'back ye must be so as to sail ag'in with me~
Fine say I .... I'll calm meself down~
Nay nor e'er shall I wear any frown~
Blow damn wind & me smile shall return~
Spin yer winds & make yer seas churn!
Ahhhhh..... much bettter as I feel yer fine gust~
Fer such is that o'which have I so great lust~
Fly it on past me sprit & so then me rails~
Fer o'such is that which creates them great tales~
Blow! Blow! Blow ye damn wind~
Churn! Churn churn ye seas spin~
Yet be certain this time as ye run at that line~
To take me with ye for surely 'tis me time~

Yer vessel she's stout 'er keel yet sound~
Trade 'er not fer bright boards o'glass~
Put not o'er side yer frilly young lass~
Sands moight be white & mayhap oft black~
Sail well 'ard to wind'ard & ne'er a'back~
Genies o'bottles magicians all~
Ne'er down o'heavens stars may fall~
'Til nights ayre bright & days ayre dark~
'Twil then in me wake I'll set 'em a'spark~
Me cannon's whot's ready & 'er barrel be 'ot~
Fer landsman I ain't ne'er & not!
Cheers-yer-Ears o'heard well 'round~
Whot ayre whot's seas steep ayre a'bound~

Sailin' our great ships fore'er & one day!
Aye mayhap so whot's our dreams be a'miss~
Fer naught sailor needs but a'plenty o'kiss~
Nay not so sayeth seas so deep so green~
‘Tis life whot's best or so 'twould seem!

" Keen To His Fate "
First & foremost with alacrity,
One sailor sailed so o'er his sea.
Winds a'fillin' canvas & seam,
Great ship layin' o'er well on her beam.
Thus began a journey so bold,
Tales ayre told by young and old.
O'seafarer man a'gone to such sea,
What might come a'none could foresee.
No soul aware nor had slightest o'clue,
Where his course into what winds blew.
Yet only this sailor was keen to his fate,
For e'er had he thought that sea his mate.
Sailed he so did for time long so gone,
Sung ashore then of his journey was song.
Oft such sad yet suddenly o'glee,
For yet were those few a'ken o'his sea.
'Twas this sailor a man set forth,
Into a sea furthest yet north.
Into his tempest & a'welcome such gale,
As naught had before heard such any tale......

With lightened heart and care-loosed feet
setting out hand-in-hand
to Celtic tune and callers bleat
of "hay," "gypsy," "allemand."
All that satin, cotton and silk
a'twirl in twos and fours,
topped by smiles white as milk
on dancers by the score.
Away sad thoughts, can you not see?
The dance is on, it's time for glee!
Consider the dance in contrast to
and not as to oppose,
this instant poised, then threading through
a line, and then who knows?
Tumbl' out your hair, O lady dear.
What need have you for care?
This dizziness will soon make clear,
so lose yourself in ayre.
Thir montins that stooid beffoir me
Ma lassie milk soumes breasts
Ah leid upoun heir ballye ye sei
Fir the displey uv heir peaks are the best
Ma lassie ballye moves up and doon
As the watters on the occeane
Bwte thir fyrmeness if ma lassie’s mounds
And ma lassie’s nosthrils blaw betwixt them a coul wynd
Ah knou theer ayre seevan wondirs
Thir warld is prude tae shaw
Bwte thir onis thit ah laye undyr
Na oni ells wull evir knou
Original poem:
The mountains that stood before me
Her creamy white breasts
I lay upon a belly you see
For the view of her summits are the best
Her belly moves up and down
As the waters on the seas
But the stillness of her mounds
And her nostrils blow between them a cool breeze
I know there are seven wonders
The world it proud to show
But the ones that I lay under
No one else will ever know
