REFLECTIONS

I reflect on my life and feel its purpose could’ve been apter, 
For as I do I see obvious contradictions
In the  unfolding of each successive chapter.

I understand less and less  -  even though I admit 
I have become more and more informed...

Somebody who had  seen Miss Ann
Advised her to just drop her Dan, 
Mentioning my own serious plan
To take her to my secure clan
And keep her in a lodge with fan...

And Miss Ann burst into laughter
But did not say a word after,
Yet, did not close...
