Reflections

REFLECTIONS I reflect on my life and feel its purpose could’ve been apter, For as I do I see obvious contradictions In the unfolding of each successive chapter. I understand less and less - even though I admit I have become more and more informed : I’ve found the value of knowledge has a limit. I speculate increasingly in terms abstract About the unknown possibilities in people, and The opportunities to know them I may have lacked. I marvel at the patience of people, especially women: They’ve had far more with me than I with them - Always with the exception of my own children. I believe that if I had a second life, my actions Would be to speculate patiently with greater understanding : And hopefully to avoid such contradictions. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
