Hey, I'm Tryn' To Eat

Well I don't know if you agree.
But somethings I don't need to see.
It may be time for legislation.
Cause some commercials cause aggravation.

Talking bout the side effects of some un Godly cure.
There's just no need to constantly subject us to this fear.
And showing us a ravaged soul who's living with the plight.
Talking through their grovel hole, I tell you it ain't right.

It's not just when I'm try'n to eat when I think this is wrong.
Of course things tend to not taste sweet when they come along.
But do we really need to hear those foul disgusting words.
I'm telling you, those commercials are really for the birds.

They hope we get the message, but tell me what's the cure.
For making us in our own homes, endlessly have to hear.
These things that they think we should see.
In hopes they're saving you and me.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Well I'd rather die than have to listen to what they have to hear.

Avoid Mistakes

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure,
A stitch in time can save nine,
Sometimes we get our lives in a mess,
Even though we try to do what's right,
And we try to do what's best.

We make mistakes as we travel along lifes way,
 Hopefully we've learned a lesson,
From the mistakes we've made today.
Education cost a lot, but ignorance cost much more,
And if we learned from our mistakes,
 Then we're smarter than before.

Our lives are a sum of the choices we make,
Sometimes they give to us, sometimes they take.
When a man get's his head in a lions mouth,
He gets it out the best way he can,
All I can say is pity the man.

Sometimes our lives are like scrambled eggs,
And scrambled eggs aren't easily unscrambled.
It would be better if we could avoid all the mistakes that come.
But if we can't avoid them all, maybe we can avoid some.

Watch Out For The Trees

If you go skiing, watch out for the trees.
This is a warning, take heed if you please.

Some would tell you this I'm sure,
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Watch out for the trees of life that get in your way,
If you see them first, you'll have a much better day.

Life can be a breeze, and you can live in ease,
If you'll watch out for those trees.
