The Stranger Man 5

Before I tramp the course of my cause,
A family indeed we were, I and Kole
But I short of years from the other.
Only by words we keep memory of
A deceased mother like morning dew
Sought for by the gloaming. We knew
Only a father whose right hand does
The masculine labour and his left hand
Undertook the feminine chore
And grew us up from tendril to maturity.
Nothing moves the heart as do feelings,
The impression creates of a moving mountain.
But with one mind accept I all that be
And live a life devoid of melodrama.
Behind laughter abide the trail of tears
And in my tears was laughter’s bare face.
Work, leisure, sickness, health, joy, sadness
Nothing so transporting or so flummoxing
As to heave my heart off the balance of life.
As an ass, it does not sigh over its burdens
And the camel do not complain of thirst
Through the drought of the desert.

By Fate’s design we lost Kole who had
Found natural escapism from life in death
Whereof the dead cannot forgo to return.
I, left with a father I pampered and cared for
Always after his heels and by his lounge
And all lips hailed the good son of a father.

Time takes precedence to test all values
And fate takes no cognizance of kinship.
Every cord has been broken by birth.
Day by day is the wake of another day
And again it would go back to slumber.
Harmattan made the land to be bard,
It would smile while the sun is out but
Only to become moody with drops.
Playing, gaming, travelling, interacting,
Have excused the drabness of existence.
Below the earth is the hue of brown
And above the sky is the hue of grey.
I have left my father and home into
The city to make a fortune and a name
For they all have queried a son cannot
Always be a honeybunch to a father
But must seek to be a sovereign man.

Now I traverse through the fleeting land
All my goods and affiliates lay aside.
Being an heir, I am no heir to fleeting goods.
Why throw away the bad grains
And then store up the chaff?
I will walk through the sands of time until
I halt in my course to become sand.
A father I commit to the hands of nature
And goodwill of kinsmen and friends.

Not knowing they walking into planted land mine full of Bombs
With Grenades in my Palms

Why I'm concealed looking from the Pond
In the trees with Ninja Stars
With a few Ninjas with Swords over they Arms
I pray to GOD for Victory an then I kiss my Charm
Then I put my dog tag back under my Thermal
Eyes filled with Inferno
That burns Eternal
I sit in the tree lookin at the stars an write in my Journal

Return On D-Day

Why deceptive retrieve
in a wheelchair
for the fallen ?

Was it not a sheer
wrong message
of a space anxiety ?

The aboriginal name

Leaping

The juxtaposition of a jelly bean is a line out symbol which points not just north but in all outward direction. To consider an atomiser a friend is to put on a hat and scarves in very cold weather. Nevertheless it could be said that a beat box can boom at this time so one must hide slippers in mugs and take tantric lessons from aspiring affluentional affiliates. Achoo achoo cried the toast soldier lay down on a round plate. I would of liked to have had far more butter. For to glow is to flow and to flow is to grow. Like a boat. Rather reaching radiuses ridiculously. And baking an omelette soup. Take no ball of heifer cake to a flower show. And drive no cabbage in a floaty dress to a garden party. Signal then. Good. Great isn't it.operatic arrival of a bopping stick. Fantastic. Wow. Work not an adaptable weed in an upright position in a Turrentine pot. And cue no angle at eighty degrees. 1 2 1 2 1 2 3 attempting a maritime movement. Monumentally moons. And that glare off a jar. Haha and now eat a sweet. Haha leopard leotards leaping. Haha gestational z

Self-Portrait

Wavy lines and swirls,
In the same family of hue.
Complimentary colors;
Orange hair bound by blue.

Broad strokes of paint,
Scribbled by the brush.
With careful undertones,
His hands did not rush.

A pale face emerges,
On a lonely silhouette.
On a rolled piece of canvas,
He painted his self-portrait.

Dragon of the Night

Dragon of the Night, O'Winged One Lost in Flight,
Shattered dreams and scattered leaves blown in sight,
Whispers of smoke and fiery stroke lofted on midnight
air,
Tales of wonder and loneliness cast upon a creature so
rare.

Cast in cave for a crime it did not commit or foresee,
Hunted by humans, elves, and other beasts from foreign
land to sea,
Driven by hounds frothing and foaming at the mouth,
Dragon of the Night looks for refuge in the Valley of
Bones South.

This creature with scales of rubies and diamonds
crawls for safe haven,
While knights on horseback ride after him for the crow
doth craven,
Mysteries of the deep beckon this beast of the night,
Persecuted for his past deeds and tales of wondrous
delight.

"Why me?" cries the tormented fiend in full fledgling
flight,
Why am I alone, why am I so afraid, why do you drive
me from sight?"
"All I ask for is some food, some water, and a place
to ply my weary head,"
"But now I'm pursued and plundered until the watery
deeps turn red!"

The Dragon of the Night doth encounters a dead end at
the Valley of Bones,
Ghostly ghouls and demons compete for the loudest of
moans,
Knights have all gathered to surround the beast to cut
off all that is safe,
The Final Battle begins with not strident call but a
low crying Wraith.

The Wraith offers comfort to the Dragon of the Night
in midst of danger,
"Come stay with me for I am definitely no cast upon
stranger,"
"Be comforted in the knowledge that the end will come
quick,"
"So that you may dwell in my lovely Garden of the Dead
no trick."

So as the Dragon of the Night rested with no care to
his dismay,
Unfolded his wings and rested his weary limbs on that
momentous day,
Spears and arrows may have once torn the cries from
his flamed throat,
Finally, the Dragon of the Night had found the
Peaceful Moat.

Dragon of the Night tho you died while surrounded by
the Enemy of Fright,
Your spirit will live in the hearts of children by
tender candlelight.

Diversity We Are

Diversity reversibly words verses so vividly;
It switches the pitches and the stitches of our images.
It’s not exact, nor compact in a disk like the bone of a back.
It’s not alliances, nor compliances with every Law from Mount Zion.
And it’s not uniformity, nor conformity to the torn and uninformed world’s formed formality.
But it’s love and it’s hate:
Benevolence, malevolence, and differences toward each other’s pencils and stencils.
It’s Toontown’s toons’ tones tuning to the max and to the minimum.
It’s robbers who bob dollars to top off their pockets’ wallets,
Like Rockerfellar, Penn and Teller, so clever in their endeavors:
Business affiliates who steal to fill their wanting will.
And it’s hard-workers jerkin’ tears, lurkin’ in corn and cotton fields for years,
Stacked packed more than black or white, but a fight to abide by and die
Until the world sees gray shades.
Diversity We are.

My Blured Hope

My foot is four legs of a tortoise
My thump is anchor of my docking
My reason is the traffic light of red lights only
My patience is the hand break of a vehicle

Their ‘batakari’ has wings to fly over me
Their worm-length’s shape has assumed e-train’s speed
Their purpose has influenced reason
Their haste has dismantled rightful queues

My hope of getting there is terminated
My hope of timely-fulfilment is turned time-will-tell
My very core of success is just an envisaged hallucination
My comfort of hope is … ‘God will tell when’

Life is not a competitive errand
Life must be fulfilling through struggles
My much efforts draining, I can’t change my aging
They pass through the hasty runways
Through dubious means to by-pass me
To achieve their over-ambitious greed-filled lives
At the expense of the down trodden.

I am not blaming the successful for my plight
But the gate has to be opened to all,
The apian way is an abomination.
Do unto the politicians, the vote winners, the powerful and the privileged
Including their relations, associates and affiliates
As you do unto the civilian, the vote casters, the commoners and the under- deprived.

Ravenous Rats Capture Our Caverns

Ravenous rats in our lives
Determined to nibble the nipples
Stabbed by knives
Cutting tenuous triples in ripples

Undulating and ululating
In horror
At the humiliating and excruciating
Error and terror

Erstwhile partners and associates
Commit or omit
To implicate affiliates
Whose remit

Captures, raptures and sutures caverns
Embedded deep within bowels, dowels, towels, trowels and vowels of the Earth
Away from testing and truculent taverns
Where felt, unleashed wrath

Against ravages rodents havoc wreak
In the calm we covet
Even when we struggle up the creek
And services of a vet

We seek, click and tweak
In our endeavor
To kick, tick and stick
Into the peace favour and flavor

Singled out as the linchpin
Enmeshed
In a twin pin whose sapience spin
Bashed, crushed, slashed and trashed

In burrows dug by ravenous rodents
Ferocious and noxious
Whose complicit correspondents
In spite of behavior fractious

Slump and succumb
To energies injected in the strategy
Ensuring ravenous rodents run numb
As triumphant emerge our deployed and employed synergy.

You Hurt

You hurt, you know, you do,
Without meaning or intention,
Each word and deed and look
A razor honed invention
Plunged straight into my heart
And welcomed with devotion,
Ignites a hurricane of glass
Into savage, silent motion.

You hurt, you know, it's true,
With no purpose and no reason,
Each gesture, smile and frown
Components of an inner treason
Plotted with no real conclusion
Only lightning strikes in blindness,
Stamping heels upon the lips
Only crying out for kindness.

You hurt, you know, you do,
With no semblance of regretting,
All the times I see your face
Forbids me from forgetting
That despite the welling fear
Of emotions torn to pieces,
My love for you still grows,
In leaps and bounds increases.

You hurt, you know, it's true,
Without care or taking blame,
Every laugh and frozen shoulder
Affiliates my shame,
Drips like acid on my feelings,
Burns their substance day by day
So what means love to you
That bids you treat me in this way?

The People Celebrate the Freedom To Come

People came from near and far to say goodbye for now.
People came to see that great man laid at rest.
People came to take pictures and protest.
People came to show their love.
People came to tell and share their stories.
People told of their lives, their struggles, their dislikes, and or despair.
People told of their kids, wives, and husbands.
People were saying I was compelled to come, I had to come.
People came and showed their solidarity.
People came walking in some form of unity that day.
People said we love what this man stood for freedom and love.
People said he stood for peace and harmony.
People said he told us to love one another.
People said he told us to stand up for what we believe.
People said he didn't want us to be deceived about what standing up would mean.
It would mean pain and suffering, it would mean personal attacks on one's person.
People said thank God for Mr. John Lewis.
I hope people will say let me live as a better example of true love and peace.
I hope people will say let true and positive change start with me.
Help us/me to get into Good Trouble amen and amen!

Fight

Fight, just for today I am still clean so I will fight.
Fight, I have this fire in me so I can use that fire in me to fight.
Fight, I will not let your hate define me, overtake me, cause me to drown I will fight
Fight there is a rage building up in me and I will use it to fight for me I will use it to make the world a better place.
Fight I'm a warrior, fight, I'm strong, fight I am large and in charge, I will not go back into the dark
Fight, you tried to break me, make me go insane but you are wrong I will fight
I am angry now you have called forth my inner warrior so watch out world because I won't easily back!
