People told of their kids, wives, and husbands. People were saying I was compelled to come, I had to come. People came and showed their solidarity. People came walking in some form of unity that day. People said we love what this man stood for freedom and love. People said he stood for peace and harmony. People said he told us to love one another. People said he told us to stand up for what we believe. People said he didn't want us to be deceived about what standing up would mean. It would mean pain and suffering, it would mean personal attacks on one's person. People said thank God for Mr. John Lewis.
