Best Affectionate Poems

Father's Day

Forgiving and patient, so kind,
Affectionate and loving, unconditional;
Tireless, hardworking without complaints,
Humble and gentle, never does he
Ever grumble in fulfilling our needs;
Resolute and unswerving my dad is,
Selfless, simple - epitome of sacrifice, and a strict

Disciplinarian, he instilled moral values in us.
About my dear dad, I have much more to pen
Yes..had I got more space, I would go on and on...

Affectionate Mothers

O thou affectionate mothers
Where you were slumbering tired in the mud houses
And the darkness, shining by your breath perfume.

You who were defeating the fear
by conjurations and soothing the pain by chanting.
The nightingales hearken to you
while Jasmine fall asleep in our dreams

Ah _ thou affectionate mothers
As if the death straightens up a stone above us!
So come! drive the shattered clouds where we sleep

Maybe if you were pouring continuously,a sweet rain from your breath,
Our dreams will grow greener in the freshness hills

Affectionate Color

 I
am
cupids
bow arrow
flying high I go
good love I show.
Although I am golden
his wings are so beholden.
Mischievous is his red father
beautifully fiery his yellow mother
I land seeing only affectionate color.

Dad Gave Me No Affectionate Hugs

Dad gave me no affectionate hugs,
only demanded obedience
with his stern and merciless glance;
he saw in me a rebellious son,
someone who felt the animosity
toward him for being a moron...
doesn't a father instill confidence,
in his son, or deride him for being shy?

Dad was a self-centered being and cared
more about his acquaintances than his family,
lavish tables he spread and celebrated
with them while his children stood back and watched,
while mom cooked and served meals to the guests;
everything had to be perfect, or he would get mad.
He bought the best wines and desserts,
and made sure they appreciated his hospitality.

I might have loved him and honored him,
if he hadn't been that patriarchal father
so insensitive and arrogant denying me the freedom
to express myself humanly as other kids did;
I grew up without guidance or a shake of hand...
congratulating me on my smallest achievements,
I felt he wasn't a father but that stranger
I was afraid to approach and confide in him and be friends.

Dad destroyed the adolescence of a humble son
growing up loving his mom more than him, and if
if I disliked him or even hated him I committed no sin;
if a father loves his son, he deserves to be loved back
and owed due respect, why did he turn me into a nervous wreck?
Wasn't I desperate enough to harm myself, or jump off a cliff?

Premium Member Affectionate Needle and Thread

On the bottom of a swiftly flowing riverbed
Emotions are being polished, in rocks stead
More than can be imagined in anyones head
Joyfully, our two hearts stories are being read
Tangled and entwined, us in this watershed
Sewn, we are by affectionate needle & thread
Eyes locked in conversation, no words ever said
I long for every moment as we cuddle in this bed

My Affectionate Addiction

It was those eyes, blue, almost effervescent. Caribbean water. I could submerge my soul into those orbs. A voice, feminine, rich, smooth cappuccino. With a melodious timbre. Absorbing me with kinetic energy. She smiles, electric, my heart knew when to beat. Skin alabaster, smooth, the blush of youth touched her cheeks. A euphoric scent of fine Tuscan lavender salved me. When on her lap I lay looking into the face of my affectionate addiction

The Affectionate Heart

Fishing for affectionate heart,
Enriched with memories of joy and happines
And blessed with raindrops- which flows like a river of hope
Planting lovable destiny, which feeds souls with seeds of love
Stirring that pleasant feeling
Like butterflies knocking on the door-
-On Christmas morning,
Knowing the day has began
To find food for the soul
Brighten life with live roses, with a beaming smile
And celebrate with true passion
To remain colourful every day,
in every season

Affectionate Love

You have those who always make you smile

You have those who always brighten your day

You have those always make you feel special

You have those who always make you laugh

You have those who always comfort you

You have those who always respect

You have those who you always look up to

You have those you can always talk to

You have those who will always appreciate you

You have those who will never judge you

You have those who will accept you for who you are

You have those who will always be there

For you have those people who are called your family and who will always give you that affectionate love that can't get any better and will always last forever

Feline Majesty

Graceful and sleek, with fur so soft,
A feline beauty, aloof and oft,
She prowls the night with watchful eye,
In search of prey that scurries by.

With stealth and skill, she makes her move,
Her razor-sharp claws and teeth to prove,
She's queen of the hunt, the master of all,
A creature of instinct, she heeds nature's call.

Yet when the day is done, and the night is through,
She'll curl up beside you, purring anew,
Her contented purrs, a soothing sound,
As she nuzzles your hand, and snuggles down.

So regal and proud, and yet so sweet,
This furry friend, our hearts doth meet,
With her playful antics and loving ways,
Our lives enriched, forever and always.

Affectionate Declaration

Her voice resides skyward
Are avail is never sleazing
Are conscience prays the bequest
I touch her neck, swaying down her spine
Her breath has never been so sharp
Just begging for more
We are seamed
Harvesting the serenade
Hitching the melodies
Bacchus lightens the moment
I see the beauty of grace shall fall
Internal medium gone ethical
Eternally it is a tone of pricelessness
The corpus of body and mind
Stimulating salvation
This is venereal eve
As the curtains blow in the breeze
So warm, so hot, melting away
Is this your love device?
You’ve threaded me with poisonous lips against my senses
Like cinnamon trill
It’s burning within me
It’s runnin’ in your veins
We can’t shear away
This is an affectionate declaration

Premium Member Affectionate and Dearest One

Affectionate and dearest one
you are my one desire
the one that in my life consists
without you my existence would be dire

When we are separated
it's all so hard to bear
wishing for our uniting
anything so we'd be near

Near together united in love
this is my desire of heart
holding you hand in hand
never again to depart

A Song From the Bottom of My Heart

Have you ever seen the clouds and the trees
Dancing and swinging
With the rhythm of pitter-patter and splash
roaming over the surface??

Have you ever seen the newly blossomed flower
blushing crimson and uncovering their veil
with the touch of the sunlight??

Have you ever ever heard the almighty 'Nature'
singing and jingling the life's melody
with all their might??

NO……????

It's a hardly staged magic of the nature
Not everyone knows
A specific time and mood is fixed
Only an affectionate beating heart can explore…

It's an enigma of the nature
Not everyone knows
A devoted and immortal heart is required,
Only a blessed Romeo and Juliet can explore…...
