Lost Myself In Mexico

Well, I jumped across the earth to the other side
and found myself in a place called Mexico
I wanted to home so I told them lies
about what I thought how much I hated it here

I left my green card in my passport
and I left my passport alone at home
So I walked to a bar in a place called Mort
and I had whatever they gave to me

I woke up later with some energy
So I walked down to the beach to swim it off
it was getting dark and I lost all since of me
at last request I stayed the night with ?Maria?

I spent day two ATVing down the drive
and spent my money on a donkey
I got bit by a rattlesnake on the ride
no one helped me but I stayed alive

I limped to the nearest shelter
and I drank some more anyway
until someone screamed to go help her
as I turned around to see a dying girl

I gave her a hand and we fell in love
I still can't explain how it pulled it off
or what she was dying from- some-thing?
we slept on the couch of the bartenders club

In the morning we ran away
to find another job to pay
for my trip home in May
and all my boss had to say... was:

How was your stay in Mexico?
and I spoke very softly
in spanish I never knew
"Nunca encontré un Taco Bell"

And that's the story of what I went through

Out of the Shadows - Hit Man

(read Part 1 first)

Woken by a sound, then reaches for his piece.
Startled from that faintest whisper, on the run from the police
Four hours sleep for this mysterious chap is normality,
Slips into his Armani suit, this being the usual formality.

Waiting, expressionless next to the hotel window, 7 floors high
The death of his mother would not even make this man cry.
Cold hearted by nature, his soul found a way to escape this life
It all started that day when he came home to his bloodied wife.

Leaving his home that very day…. no return for Joe, couldn‘t wait.
He stood pale faced alone in the pouring rain, not knowing his fate.
(How did this happen to him, how could his wife be gone?
He left for work, then came back…….what did he do wrong?)

Months later, still no emotion displayed on his clammy skin
Being determined that he will not stop until he feels a win.
A puzzle, fits words like a crossword, coloured shapes in holes
Slowly but for sure, he is watching as this enigma unfolds

He has his target, blonde hair, blue eyes with a trade mark scar.
This man surrounded by ‘his men’, he drives a blacked out car.
He knows no limits, no mountain too high, no abyss too deep
Joe will not stop until the end, his goal to put this man to sleep.

This target will not have it easy, its part of Joes plan.
Do not mistake the stalking from Joe as being “Mr Scars” biggest fan
Empty houses with darkened windows, he watching for the right time
Months ago Joe would have never have lead a life of crime.

Days not hours, patiently waiting for ‘Scar’ to show his face.
A tear runs down Joeys face, memories return but he keeps his grace.
What’s this? Scar on his own with no protection around his bubble
It will be the biggest mistake he has made, for he is now in trouble.

(Part 3 in writing)

Dawn See's Everything

Dusk to Dawn the battle goes on, ,
Wars have gone on in rage for centuries.
Fighting off fatigue, suffering & disease
 When at War all that's adverse is the enemy;
No heroes coming home, the only heroes that our
known, their corpses are going home in a body bag.
On this battlefield good men died, at home
women cried and wondered what went wrong.
With courage in our hearts and never quit for a song
We fought hard and at times fought very long.
Stuck in this hole face to face with the enemy
fighting with all that's, left inside me.
I'll be damned if I'm not going home this time around.
On these killing field's we dwell, Stuck in this playground known as Hell, it's not our choice, this isn't
where we want to be.
Come morning well be gone, as the battle rages on
By dawn, we'll have seen everything...

Lake of Fire

too late to turn back sang the symphony of sorrow
you must pay for your sins and the sentence is eternal
going through a tunnel like funnel cloud terror
saw your entire life played on dirty cracked mirrors
can't turn around,no your home is straight ahead
it's not a nightmare that left you bleeding in your bed
cuts and slashes to your mind, heart, and soul
this journey into darkness you have to do alone
you had a million chances to come into the light
Gods angels begged you please but those demons left you blind
deaf and dumb mindless and numb your only thought was more that was your only rule of
thumb
you let the devil play you,he told you you were his ace
now you see you're just his joker as he's laughing in your face
the signpost reads, :LAKE OF FIRE JUST AHEAD
now your sobbing turns to screaming and your fear it turns to madness
you hear laughter all around you,and evil gladness
now you're on a roller coaster with one hundred other fools
low learning insane victims and low life living imbred ghouls
the cart it rocks and rolls soon it will go off the tracks
and the fire is getting closer, demons crawling up your back
and you scream unholy anguish as you fall into the fire
the devil laughs forever inside your mind full of devilish desire
"WELCOME HOME SON TO THE BURNING LAKE OF FIRE"

Away From Home

away from home away from home

cold and hungry and all alone

I'm five hundred miles away from home

i got my bag on my back and ill get started back

going down the rail road tracks with bag on my back

I'm five hundred miles from home

away from home away from home

cold and hungry and all alone

I'm five hundred miles away from home

if the train comes right ill be home tomorrow night

I'm five hundred miles away from home.
