They came with robes and golden rings,
Not to heal — but to own sacred things.
With Bibles bound in blood and silk,
They turned living water into poisoned milk.
Altars became ATMs,
Forgiveness priced in tithes and gems.
Salvation auctioned on Sunday screens,
While hungry mouths haunt shattered dreams.
They preach of heaven, sowing fear,
But drive their heaven in Bentleys near.
They claim to serve the Lamb once slain —
Yet dine in halls of Caesar's gain.
Not soul but ego leads the choir,
Their prayers are wires, their God — empire.
The gospel now a corporate creed,
With holy names used just for greed.
But beneath this glass cathedral’s dome,
The Spirit weeps and finds no home.
For truth is quiet, love is free,
Not bound by walls or policy.
And still, the light that can't be sold,
Flickers in hearts both brave and bold.
The soul knows lies, the heart can see —
That faith was never meant to flee.
So let them sell their plastic grace,
While truth returns to its rightful place.
Not in a pulpit draped in gold —
But in the silence prophets hold.

From steppes remote
luxurious mink coats
Fine leather boots
tailored suits
Fancy shoppes
five-star hotels
Back of splashy nightclubs
exclusive brothels
Rolls-Royces
and Bentleys
S-t-r-e-t-c-h ... L-i-m-o-u-s-i-n-e-s
cafes serving the finest cuisine
Wide-eyed with wonder
passersby gape
Dreams of Fifth Avenue
from tottering fire escapes

There's certainly a wide-ranging variety of different cars
From the Model T to the Tesla -- no longer wildly popular
People want choices to match their lifestyles and moods
Manufacturers want trustworthy cars that can 'deliver the goods'
Reliable rides -- solid, unspectacular engines under their hoods
Rich sports stars tend to go for muscle cars and speed
Jaguars, Porsches, Ferraris; Dodges, Pontiacs, and AMCs
Famous celebrities, of course, crave the ultimate in luxury
Rolls Royces, Mercedes, Lincoln Town Cars, and Bentleys
Nerds and computer geeks worship the ways of the Japanese
They drool over Hondas, Toyotas, Mazdas, even Mitsubishis
Which brings us to the environmentalists, willing to pay a bit more
For hybrids, electric cars, even ones that run on cooking oil and Indian lore
But I've saved the final two lines for a new car so incredibly smart
That without any driver, it appeals to cutting-edge intellectuals
~ and fearless hearts

God's willing we shall strive
May we never lose our drive
You cry, I cry, we all cry
But then again sometimes we smile
God's willing very soon it shall rain
Torrents of blessings, oh! We're tired of just dews
We shall occupy flamboyant terrains
Brace yourself, I see us standing on higher plateaux
God's willing all your seeds shall grow
Though u shall only reap what you sow
Some call it a bluff; it's a truth we all know
You only escape if next winter produces pink snow
God's willing we shall marry before our thirties
At forty, rich enough to buy Bentleys and Ferraris
Haha, hey you! I clearly caught you smiling
Make sure u also go out and do some planting
You just put in some work, trust God and avoid envy
The future is bright I need not go philosophical like Ghandi
Our tomorrow shall definitely taste like juice and brandy
Gods willing... Oh! Deo Volente!

It's all change at Crewe
Rollermakers flattened while riding Crewe's roller-coaster
The tea factory now shipping booze to the nation
chester barrie gone from cutting suits and is now selling flowers
British rail once built the engines and his now a train garage.
Rolls Royce a national treasure now owned by another nations car maker
its all change at Crewe
Crewe's university campus now educates the masses
That other nations car maker now makes Bentleys for the rich and famous
New businesses selling ice cream vans to gadget insurance
New medical centres and schools to be proud of
Queens park rescued from closure
it's all change at Crewe.

The rent boys, too tired now from their
work with old men in the night, lol lazily
on their bicycles, scratching their
pale whiskers;
but whiskers on a " young boy" ?
no, no... the old men like young men,
those who look like boys;
and the old men come in taxis, Bentleys
and sometimes droves; carrying money
and even little gifts, for their favourites,
their paid lovers; and one, (or is it two?)
attends in leather, Marlon Brando style
and some of the old men like a whore
who resists; or cries, and others like to
talk, about their mothers, or their wives;
or want to pretend they're going away, and
have them do a role play...
a "please persuade me to stay",kind of thing
and when the morning's judge, the dawn,
illuminates their wooded copse, behind their hill,
their place of hidden business, where the cars park still;
the young men, who look like boys, ride off in
their gold and silver baseball caps;
Tonto and Lone Ranger style, their Walkmans
feeding music and lies into their ears;
and later in a tate-a-tate, they fill their mouths
with coffee and strong mints, to take away the
taste of old men's sighs
