Her winsome smile belied her secret essence
A temptress and siren
Given to saturnine quintessence
And I a man of placid and calm complexion
Became ever more umbrageous
With each stranger she offered affection
Ciara Cybelle chose to take her chances
Unconcerned by my mood
Continued her frenzied romances
She swooned at my charm
And laughed at my wit
And yet held to another man’s arm
Ciara Cybelle a nymph out of hell
Twisting a man
With her temptress spell
I had to make her understand
She simply had to see
I must be her only man
But Ciara Cybelle laughed instead
Eyes flashing fire
She brazenly said
The likes of me would never know
The deliciousness
Of the charms she would bestow
On other men she found fairer
Then in a rage
I struck in blind error
And carefree Ciara Cybelle
Lay shattered and still
At my feet where she fell
To the dark waters I fed
The alabaster body
Of Ciara Cybelle dead
Now benthic stillness of cimmerian depths
Disturbed by the pale lifeless limbs
Of Ciara Cybelle
Now tumescent and water pruned
The once sempiternal beauty
Forever ruined

works gore ate my face
benthic void with water devoid
clear as yesterday
petal wilts rose cloy
visage made a mockery
nocturne flicker shines
grin was a jester miles wide
silver on marble
fenestra waves smoky clouds
no one hears a thing
spin art next to me
gray half and half white
thin diagonal black line
three orb dots align
large pyre ball on top
grassy field green the middle
bottom azure speck
two gold trim darkness
Lewis got the eyes perfect
they stare at me now

Despite this monster inside me
Despite this creature I have become
Something more siren than human
Beckons to the benthic of woe
I must be crazy
This cannot be real
Then the words crawl into my ear
Your the essence of pandemonium
Chaos orchestration symphonies of moribund
Threnody of the last spark pathetic velleity
We are one entity
Abyssal dismal flicker of an ember snuffed out
Choke on billowing smoke
Lost in the tenebrous, anger filled the air
I am not broken
Teeth glare
Fangs bubonic virulent crush
Caricature of the future versus sentinel of what was

in the twilight zones
of the ocean
you will find me
dimly lit from within
for camouflage, for
spotting those I fear
would steal my hazy glow
I am surrounded by
others who linger here,
half-blind, swimming aimlessly,
waiting for the brightness
that never comes
would that I could rise up
out of this doltish,
bathypelagic state,
break through the water’s skin,
glistening, luminous
with coruscated beauty
but the only hands extended
draw me deeper,
into the benthic sea,
where I lie, unmoving,
amongst the creatures
who make their own deceptive light
and fear the sun’s
clear gaze

Known for my large tusk coming from my canine tooth that is protruding,
Sexually attracted to the six years old female though I m thirteen,
Was swimming for predation, saw her chasing my favorite prey from benthic,
She was snatching my flatfish from dense pack of ice in the waters of Arctic,
Whistled in the hot weather, together from bays into the ocean we migrated,
With her I would live for another 40 years till I die, looked at her and vowed,
Summer gone and winter shattered my dreams when sea ice over her froze,
Bearing beautiful calves, came another Narwhal, stared at me, love again rose,
Mated with her in the season spring, sprung a newborn after fourteen months,
Dependent on milk, stays by his mother’s back, my cutie swims by her assistance.

The electronics clambered, numbered incessantly the pixels
Evermore they quoted as they looked sheepishly beyond the waving kelp
But how many fonts hold fast to the batholiths where benthic crawlers lurk?
All sounds resonate truly never resting they attest to organisms organized
Materialized from matter without flatter, all is jargon even tarragon
So have you planned usurping what is beyond the seamless light?
Fishing for extinct species yet landing luggage makes one uneasy
But oh so few have caught the ride switched on by myriad microchips
Looking into the lightened halogen afforded space upon the brazen hillside strata
It is all an electric race for peace with resistors, electrons racing past hazards
Imagination pictured impossibilities precisely placed to soothe the softened goals
Remotely fusiform he held in his own untrained hand although he dipped at times
Mechanisms, anachronisms and microcosms of life go on to divide or multiply
They form a landing, certain coiled spinning prisms an animate defense of green
Can a pixel bring a timely recompense or electrons reap a harvest?
