                   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Discovering God doesn't bear broad browsing
He's all over on Earth's orbit or cosmic orbs
He is not an allusion or scarce
Faith is a notion that God conflates with spirit
Life is a cynosure; we should not deviate
Fulfill kismet, will balmily distaff nemesis
God is love, auric values lighten others' lives
He is present as a gentle breeze sways palm fronds
He hears the soft rainfall on homeless tin roofs
In gloom, He watches ants swarming on ivory stone
Seek Him in the joyful gaze of a child
Or in the fragrance of blooming orchids
Or as you comfort a grieving friend
He is present at the first cry of a baby
And the last breath of a dying man
He is there as waves crash onto dazzling coasts
And as seagulls soar across vast white skies
Seek God as you bite into a ripe mango
Or as coconut juice quenches your thirst
The divine manifests in subtle forms.
Premium MemberPure Heart - Mirror
Written: April 25, 2024, For Sara Kendrick Mirror Contest
Rumi Quote 4: " The pure heart is a spotless mirror in which images of
                 infinite beauty are reflected"
                    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Inhale an ambrosian scent of soul embrace,
A spotless mirror, a balmily sacred space.
Where grace and limitless vistas reside,
A mirror of marvels dwells inside.

Mirrors of the soul portray what lies within,
Embers of deceit and virtue—a place to hide.
Within glitzy mirrors lurks crestfallen mystery,
Derisory echoes and whispers from history.

They wear us down, akin to sighs in the wind,
To discern diaphanous time with the air behind.
Gazing into a mirror, we quietly weigh a vow,
Reflecting images across time in a wide bow.

An empyreal elegy was mirrored in our myth,
Weary sighs faded in threnodic dream pith.
Tedium gradually accumulates over time,
Memories of the past are bathed—sublime.

Every thud echoes love and reminisce,
With each inhale, it exhales pure bliss.
A clean soul's heart is an heirloom of wellness,
Earnest quintessence of morality and fairness.

Beneath the shades
of velvet shadows
swarms of amber
luminance of daylight
and elusive flits
of faerie embers.
Veiled in jeweled which
rhymed with
Calyx elixir tints
of moonlit hues,
wings of light fractals
of burnished baubles.

Serendipitous breeze
scribbling rimes
of a runic serenade
in glints of jades
and emeralds.
wisps of wood smoke
soft mists of
Myrrh and Frankincense
fragrance of
Amyris and Bergamot.

Life has been beckoned.
by the sun messenger.
In that aurifying light,
crisscrossing balmily
and all at once.
With your shifting cloak,
snail
silver tree,
life is futile
& vain as smoke.
with your beshrews roads
case of curiosity
devoted to
the art of taxidermy,
decorative, restorative
and anthropomorphic.
A canorous dream,
capacious
mellifluous
Hurry past me!

Premium MemberThe Wayfarer Creed

To what zenith do our chimeras whither?
As we travel across discombobulated shores?
Do we strive to collocate together?
Or breed discord and close the doors?

The wayfarer creed is to induce wherry,
With our aphonic travelers on this path.
To share in the arcane and not be wary,
And crestfallen behind all corpulent wrath.

We journey with athirst hearts and minds.
Seeking authenticity and understanding
To ogle the world through Elysian eyes,
And embrace all, no matter how demanding.

Let us leave behind our petty strife,
And forge ahead with auric hope and love.
Only then can we balmily thrive?
And soar as aquiline eagles on wings above.

So let us walk this path together.
Entwined, with canorous hearts ablaze
And let our journey last forever,
As we bask in the sun's warm rays.
