Premium MemberMission to Mars

The rocket launch recliner
propels her to the moon;
with Ativan for fuel,
she’ll be to Saturn soon.
When shortly she returns,
both feet upon the land,
and Benadryl departs,
I hope the trip was grand!

The Young and the Anxious

The Young and the Anxious
We are a new youth in an old world
We are constantly told to calm down
We are constantly told to relax
Told of times “back in my day”
From an older generation who knows nothing
Of the conflicts we face in the present
I’m here to tell you that we will not settle
We WILL NOT let this world tell us we aren’t enough
And we certainly will not, ing back down
You can keep your Xanax, Ativan and your Zoloft
That you give out like candy on Halloween
You tell us we are broken when we are only healing
Wounds left open by former generations
Instead of your quick fix pills you give
We will pass a joint with hands of change
And as we get the munchies we will snack
On the food of growth and fruitfulness
You tell us we will never make a difference
As you try to hold us back from doing so
But I am here to tell you
The we are the young and the anxious
And we aren’t going away without one hell of a fight

Missing the Mark

There are no other words for missing the mark except, "f----."
Everybody spends their whole lives trying to hit the mark so they can sit in a placd that sustains and entertains. But for the outsiders who missed the mark there are no words except, "f---".
Wisdom isn't freely given to age except when lessons learned trump experiences.
After breakups, hearts only bleed if you isolate.
Time doesnt heal everything.
Money buys some peoples happiness.
Sex solves arguments.
A cat sleeping on your chest cuts more anxiety than Ativan.
Don't follow your heart.
Get lost in the woods.
When you wake up, blast music and stay moving.
When you feel inspired, put everything else aside.
.......
And if you miss the mark, f---.
You've got a life to live anyway.

I'Ll Drink To That

Bourbon; whisky- on the rocks,
Chased by draughts of Coke
Or was it lines sniffed from the clock-
Forgotten after several tokes?

Join the Clan of Ativan,
(Betrothed to one Ms. Lora Tab)
In vodka pools, serenely swam-
By many needles, duly stabbed

My Ecstasy for LSD,
In quiet dens of Opium
Magic Mushrooms picked for me-
And a sip of amber rum...

At Wit's End

My insomnia has worn me thin,
when I get out of bed I know not where to begin.

No purpose, no income, no motivation,
hence forth I am consumed by this damnation.

Ativan, Ambien to help cope,
where then is my self to hope?

Spontaneous anguish found in a drawer,
absorbing the pain from the past in horror.

There is but one person who gives me peace,
I can speak from what little I have left from my soul to her,
as all my anguish seems to cease.

There is so much more that I want from her,
yet cherish the friendship, all my feelings transfer.

I feel lost in these long hours of darkness,
At wit's end, sipping bourbon, my misery becoming noxious.

Premium Member"anxiety' Or "ode To Therapy."

I had a silent visitor
who come in on the sly.
I didn't know he'd entered
Tll many years went by.

He built a little fire
deep within my brain.
It smoldered there unnoticed
until it burst to flame.

I went to see a therapist
who helped my look inside my head.
To find out why the fire burned
and how I kept it fed.

I took a million breaths,
I snapped some rubber bands.
I walked to Mexico and back
and downed some Ativan.

I'm feeling alot better,
although the fires not completely out.
I'll have to keep a constant watch.
of that i have no doubt.

So If you get that feeling,
That comes without a warning.
Have a glass of wine and off to bed.
Call your Dr in the morning.
