Beholding the lily of the valley*
I’m brought to the beauteous Eden’s garden
blooming, feasting with life celebration
showcasing the Creator I adore.

Caressing each delicate bud, I bask
at its wafted sweet scent, offering hope
reminding me of the Saviour’s savour
when He sacrificed Himself with love’s price.

Immaculately white, it enthralls me
exuding purity that arrests soul
checking my righteous walk along God’s path
to confess sins and claim Christ’s full pardon.

Grateful to the Lord for blessings’ bounty
my heart worships Him with contentment bliss
learning that He takes care of lilies well
arraying them with beauty and grandeur.

Cognizant of its blest significance
I’m jubilant for the lily’s great roles
midst biblical verses so asserted
exalting Almighty that it pleases.

*Song 2:1 I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.

Passing Beauty

Passing over of earth’s renew,
Blossoms blooming that spring forth dew,
Seasons changing bursting forth,
Sun shines brightly with earth’s life force,
Time renewing plants to grow,
Bluebells ringing in woodlands growth,
Trees of beauty, trees of green,
Flowers arraying, red, blue and green,
Sprouting forth it’s time to grow,
All the plants they seemed to know,
“Come alive awake from sleep,
From under the earth from down so deep”
Time has come the old has gone,
Passing forth the new day’s sun,
Drawing up towards the sun,
A new day dawns and has begun,
Passover time when spring has sprung,
And creations time again began,
Every time they always know,
The call of life "It’s time to grow"
All this beauty love arrayed,
All these colours impressive displayed,
Passing time of colors displayed

Fire Burning

Fire Burning
Beginning with a spark to the heart
light arraying through my body
A head to toe adventure I relish
The spark grows with every glance
his soft blue eyes begging to be loved
My heart is swelling with lust and infatuation
A craving so eager and unbearable to hold inside
These flames through my body refuse to be tamed
I have no one to help me extinguish this wildfire
I'm burning...
