THE OCEAN

     Alluring Amazing Ocean
     Boundless Charming, Dynamic
Endless Energy in Free Frolic Foamy Flow.
     Gorgeous, Loud Lovely, Marvellous, Musterious.
     Noble or Outrageous.
Pearly, Pristine : Quite or Rowdy.
     Unique: Vibrant, Valorous.
     Wide, Wonderful with Youthful Vigorous
     in zest and zeal.

Ocean flows thrashing waves beyond breakers,
    sometimes turbulent, sometimes calm tranquil.
    Liners, Vessels, Ships on voyage.
Passenger sinking in dreams of vastness.

Millions of sea creature struggling to survive,
    floating, swimming, clinging to seaweeds,
crawling or settling in the abyss.
    Preys and Predators thriving simultaneous.

Coral displaying floral garden spectacular beyond human vision.
Icebergs huge or small to float showing one portion,
nine times being submerged deceiving onlookers.
Aquanauts to venture expeditions under the ocean.

Ocean carrying immense treasures without any measure.
Ocean flows calling land dwellers to explore.

DEWDROPS

        Distant things mesmerize
        Look close by: Get surprise.
        Those unseen far away seem
        to emit sparkling shiny beam.

         Distant space attracts more,
        calling astronauts on to explore.
Next neighbour to our land is ocean
        getting no special attention.

        Aquanauts are not strictly selected.
        Under ocean expeditions are neglected.
One bank of river sighs behind:
         ‘Happiness lies on other side.’

Close friend may be great or saint
Yet we search for fellow at distant.
I traveled lot and spent time to see
         mountains, rivers, fountains, sea .

          Enchanted to see violent volcano
Iceberg, glacier, hill top with solid snow.
           Verdant valley, meadow auburn,
              barren desert, cave and cavern.

           But failed even to appreciate
         blazing beauty of dew droplets
glistening on grass blade in my garden,
which I discovered all on a sudden.

MY DREAM FLOATING WITH FLOW OF OCEAN

' I think, I know why the ocean flows' *
     thrashing waves beyond the breakers,
     sometimes turbulent, sometimes calm quiet.
Liners, Vessels, Ships are on voyage.
Passenger sinking in dreams of vastness.

Whimsy whales whistle wonderful alarming ambient.
In the ocean millions of sea creature struggling to survive,
      floating, swimming, clinging to seaweeds,
crawling or settling in the abyss.
      Preys and predators thriving simultaneous.

Coral displaying floral garden spectacular beyond human vision.
Icebergs huge or small to float showing one portion,
nine times being submerged deceiving onlookers.
Aquanauts to explore life under the ocean.

Ocean is flowing carrying immense treasures without any measure.
I know why the ocean flows calling the land dwellers.

Call of Distance

                Distance mesmerizes
                Look close: Get surprises.

               Objects close or near-by
               mostly fail to catch eye.

               Things away always seem
               emitting shiny beam.

               Distant space attracts more.
               Astronauts to explore.

               Neighbor ocean ignored
              Aquanauts not adored.

              One-side river-bank sighs
              'On other side joy lies.’

             Friend beside, right, precise
             Yet not to realize.

             I traveled lot to see
             mountains, fountains and sea.

              Failed to appreciate
              beauty of dew droplet.

             Glistened on rose petal,
              glanced just accidental.

Man Believed and Dreams Came True

Man Believed and Dreams Came True
     By Dane Smith-Johnsen

Man looked up and saw birds fly.
Then, dreamed of soaring in skies.
Balloons, blimps, and hand-gliders
Rockets, shuttles, planes. Man flies!

Man looked out and saw seas near.
Then, dreamed of swimming with fish.
Skins, tow sleds, and breathing gear.
Aquanauts! Man’s fulfilled wish.

Man looked out and saw daylight.
Then dreamed of seeing at night.
Lamps, lanterns, flashlights, streetlights-
Man made his nights glowing bright.

Man looked around; saw earth’s sights.
Then, dreamed he could move mountains.
Bulldozers, hooks, dynamite.
Tunnels pass through! Man attaines.
