Wrong in taking risks, acts too fragile like the fish
Highest level of this strong will ends in a wish
Improper experience, lacking growth, and childish
Mama is always needed for things to flourish
Papa must stay or else progress will diminish
Indented ability will always demolish
Strength so minute, for a weakling to be sluggish
Harboured fears, always making confidence feverish

Sambal Tumpang

Sambal Tumpang
Disana
Disana, dicabang cabang pohon kedelai
Yang daunya gatal setengah mati
Tumbuh buah buah yaitu biji-biji
Dikupas direndam diragi jadilah tempe
Tiga hari jadilah busuk
Ditanak digerus lalu direbus
Dengan bumbu-bumbu
Rempah
Dan santan kelapa tua
Aku menyukai garam yang asin
Jauh lebih asin dari lidahmu
Tambahkan sayuran rebus
Bayam
Kecambah, daun kunci
atau tidak ada daun kunci
Maka kembang keturipun jadi
Lalu tuangkang sambal kacang
Kemudian tutuplah dengan rempeyek
Biar berkesan sopan
Tahukah kamu apa itu ‘rempeyek’
Tepung beras adonan
yang digoreng setipis kertas
sajikan dengan nasi lunak adalah jodohnya
Tunggulah
Dan santaplah
Ketika matahari hapir terbit

These Four Walls

As the night creeps in Apa ogwu
He fills anxious about his status
Hands all over my PC feasting on opportunities
They jerk their heads in refusal
They wallow in an empty space
They throw covers of letters on the altar of the chosen one
The blue frailled man is tired of working on the white landing mat
They transform their energy to wasted efforts
They throw them out to the cold arms of recession
Their heart broods in restiveness
Price tags changing themselves like clothes on the counter
Sharp cries and hunger are let loose to lay siege on the vulnerable
The big wings and long legs fly in and out like birds to conquer the machinations of life
Their thoughts are running riot in Apa ogwu as they are caught up in the shadow of reflection
They defuse the tension with a little dance of atilogwu

Letter For My First Love

Juthi Apa, It is OK. There are many things important in the world better than what is may be perceived already by you. Rain is still rattling, but I don't care, because I am busy with my works in a sound proof room. I swear I will not open the window, I won't definitely. You go raining freely, I don't care. I shouldn't care because I am supposed to remain busy with my half life full timely.

Not Into You

Tidak Berminat
(08/08/08)

Apa yang bisa kuharap darimu?
Semisal aku butuh belaian, mampukah kau memberinya?
Saat kubutuh pelukan, maukah kau mewujudkannya?
Tanda tanya besar wahai lelaki!

Jangan menuduhku, lelaki!
Aku tidak berminat padamu, itu saja sudah!
Karena kau terlalu biasa
Kau tak mampu menggoncang hatiku dengan sentuhanmu
Kau tak mampu menimbulkan gugup dihatiku

Kau hanya…KAU, dimataku!
Tidak lebih
Aku tidak berminat! Itu saja sudah

Not Into You

(18/09/2011)

What can I expect from you?
As if I need a caress touch, could you afford it?
As if I need a warming hug, would I receive it?
-Huge question marks in queue

Do not point your tricky words at me!
I just am not into you
Too ordinary, is the first clue
Rocking my heart is not your heart could do
Exciting nervous is never your words could make me to

You just YOU, in my judgement!
Nothing more
I just am not into you! That’s it for your placement

Farida

Farida
(04/03/2005)

Indah namamu, seindah hatimu
Indah hatimu, seindah senyummu
Entah apa salahmu, hidup tak seindah dulu
Saat masih dalam timang ibu
Apakah kesedihan kini hidupmu?
Entah kapan Tuhan kan bahagiakanmu Farida
Perjuanganmu terangi jiwaku, jiwa mereka
Semoga juga jiwamu

Your pretty name reflects your beauty heart
Your beauty heart goes along with your precious smile
I don’t know why God took your happy part,
As when you were in a childhood memories pile
Is sadness now the life for you?
I don’t know when God will give the happiness back to you
Even His last give to you called cancer
You embraced it as though it was a gem wrapped in golden
Farida, your courage built me better
You keep saying, that God’s love always proven
A clear magnificent soul of diamond
Strong and can’t be broken
Your bravery shines my soul, their souls
And hopefully, your own soul

Kedai Usang

Kedai usang di tepi jalan
lambang kasih bonda
tanda keringat perit ayahanda
pun sepi di tepi jalan
tiada pelanggan

tiada lagi suara penuh mesra
tiada lagi pesanan ke udara
tiada lagi apa - apa

pun lena ditelan kenangan
kisah cinta dan kasih
bonda dan ayahanda
yang penuh pedih, luka dan duka
