Now Or Never Mia

Past life is immutable, we Cannot alter
Resistance is futile, shAckles only halter
Each stRuggles to escape, their attempts will falter
Same with Plans of future, always inscrutablE
Empty of promise, enDlessly transmutable
Nothing certain, all predIcitions disputablE
Today Means life not death, thus irrefutable

Agoraphobia

I c annot go near my front door...
it might mean a surprise is in store.
I might have to speak to people one day -
and golly gosh, I won't know what to say.
You see last December I went to a gathering
of strangers who wanted my blathering.
I didn't stay long, I just wanted to go home.
It has rarely been like me to idly roam.
I had the light, I crossed the street,
when a gigantic water truck did I meet.
He said he never saw me, squished me to the curb,
his truck ate my scooter's front wheel - absurd!
He was in the wrong and to hospital they took me.
Now they gave me lovely money, which I spent,
while sitting at my computer, quite content.
But since that day I stay inside...agoraphobia

Premium Member Jesus Is Coming

A thought about the times that we are living in"

JESUS IS COMING SOON!!!

Who wants to go to Heaven when you die, can I see a raise of hands? Well, would you do what God’s Word says you have to do to get there?
Would you take care of a sick child, take groceries to a poor family, would you give your blood to the Red Cross? These are all good things, don’t you agree? Do not use bad language, do you support your family That DOES make you a “good” person but, that isn’t how you get to go to Heaven! We annot "work" our way to Heaven, it doesn't work like that, otherwise JESUS would not have had to come to save us.

The ONE and ONLY way to HEAVEN is accepting JESUS CHRIST as your LORD and SAVIOR and accepting HIS sacrifice for you and your sins. JESUS HIMSELF said, “I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE, (NO ONE) GOES to the FATHER but by ME!

Why not accept HIM today, you will never be sorry if you do but, if you don’t you will be sorry when you die!
P.S. Don't wait too long, HE is coming soon!

God bless, Marilyn S. Jennings

Neither Depth Nor Height

N-either depth nor height
I-s able to break your heart;
C-omplete faith in the Father
A-lmighty does not fall apart.

E-ither life or death
C-annot take your love away;
H-ope and trust stay alive,
A-ll the time every day.
G-od November twenty-third
U-ses the word of light;
E-ven the dark doesn't matter, neither depth nor height.

Cannot Choose But Be Happy

C-annot choose but be happy,
A-s I see the joyful tears;
R-ise of the beacon begins,
L-ight above the horizon
A-ppears.

G-rief has just hidden
U-nder the dark oblivion;
A-mount of mirth has given
N-othing but jubilation.
Z-one of the new dawn
O-bliterates the agony;
N-ovember twenty-seventh Monday, I cannot choose but be happy.

Cannot Help But Await

C-annot help but await,
R-ise of the sun will start;
E-arly morn fourth of June,
S-hadows in the dark depart.

B-irthday of you will come,
U-nder the dawn so great;
R-ays will shine from above,
C-annot help but
A-wait.

Cannot Help But Write

C-annot help but write,
H-owever awake or sleepy;
R-egardless of the place,
I-n bed, in bus, or under the tree.
S-till I can't help but write,
T-o greet you on twelfth of May;
Y-our birthday has come, after the night fades away.

B-ecause I cannot but write
E-very word and every line;
L-etting you know the message
T-o make you feel so fine.
R-egardless of the time,
A-ny hour turns out right;
N-o way will I ignore, cannot help but write.

Good Weather In Thirteenth September

G-ood weather in thirteenth September
I-s brightly brought to your birth;
G-reen leaves in the nice meadow
I-ntroduce the new fresh mirth.

O-ne morn in thirteenth September
Z-enith slowly prepares its light;
A-t noon as the sun is straight up,
E-mitted rays are crimson in sight.
T-hirteenth September at dawn, dark shadows are passing by;
A-fter the sad twilight is gone, gray clouds won't be seen in the sky.

B-ad season and stormy day
A-re not going to materialize;
R-ugged clime and rough ocean
C-annot upset your sparkling eyes.
E-arly whisper from the soft wind
L-ets you feel God's loving care;
L-arge amount of warm tenderness
A-dds calmness to the open air.
N-ight cold chill has checked out, after the lonely dusk is over;
O-ne kind moment in your occasion, good weather in thirteenth September.

Let the Beacon Take Over

M-ist, haze, and smoke
A-re beginning to leave the view;
R-ain in torrents has turned
I-nto a pleasant morning dew.
E-vening shadows disappear, right before your eyes;
L-ong and lonely night has turned into a sunrise.

C-rimson sky shows up,
A-s the cold chill is warming;
B-eneath the high heavens,
A-nother dawn is breaking.
T-wenty-sixth early Friday,
I-n fresh February morn;
C-annot afford to just forget the day when you were born.

P-lanned, penned and printed
I-s my verse to remember;
O-ne acrostic that comforts,
J-ust let the beacon take
O-ver.

Premium Member Orchard Fantasy

Only organic fruits will do...
Rely on nature through and through.
Going to an orchard nearby
And pick our apples 'neath dark sky...
No one around on us to spy.
Into the night we're off to pick...
Cannot be seen, that is our trick.

Forgetting that, of course, these days
Real orchards have guarded ways.
Unless we want to be attacked...
Inside, those watchdogs will react!
The best- come by on the next day...
So sad...for apples, we must pay.

Premium Member Ignorance

In darkness, the mind comes short
Gullible to any item offered, and
Not an excuse for self underdevelopment
Obnoxious in the gathering of knowledge
Rationality greatly fractured and invalid
And then lost in the puzzle of understanding
Never near a sound judgment, because it
Cannot sieve random information which
Ends with a sense of powerlessness

C annot imagine my world without colours, even if inclined
O h my god, myriad hues of flowers reinvigorate us mankind
L ove and romance in black ‘n white, are you out of your mind
O f the seven colours, red is hot, quickly lets one feel aligned
U nder shadow of dark colous, soft hues make a painting refined
R ainbow, a beautiful bright arch after prolonged rain grind
S eems God was bored of heavenly white and colours he twined.
