From where so a fault comes to call,
There from hint comes how to forestall:
Boils and blisters that burn,
Back by hot foments turn,
From ailment does its cure unroll.

Poet’s note: Sanskrit has thousands of verses of wisdom called Subhashhitam. The wisdom of this verse tells us that remedy arises from the melody. The transliteration of the Sanskrit verse follows:
Yatah eva agatah doshah
tatah eva nivartate |
Agni dagdhasya visphota
shantih syat agnina dhruvam ||

Once invited by her,
To candle light dinner,
Captivating smile in her face;
I accepted "Oooom! It's OK,
Was looking for a festal break";
Came the evening,
And we were,
At the table candle lit;
Candle kindled,
Melting self to illuminate us;
Watched each other,
Face to face;
The candle in midst of us;
Perhaps was the first,
Step of ladder to blend together,
In one knot;
Rise of romantic emotion,
Witnessed by lit candle,
Billowing flame in inebriation;
Unaware of melting,
To extinction its own entity;
Blinking flame gestured,
'Agni' a fire ritual of candle,
Endorses your togetherness;

In my cupboard life
creeps
a living mannequin
The deception:
no acceptance
and tepid;
a biological kind
Gaia prevails
while I fall
into disarray
Bid thee-
make me whole
Whisperin winds
by my bed declare:
"Always pay
the price
today"
Grandeur on stiletto
Tis' the blade,
not the shoe
that offers escape
Yet,
preference falls to-
the leathery hide
Luscious lips,
a glint in the eye,
renewed bust;
the goddess Aphrodite
Scalpel and skin
A book of vanity,
Another year to hide:
"Patience my dear..."
Confused fleshly desire
Life's destiny yet realized
As Agni succumbs to frost
A shadow forlorn
A kinder memory
I resonate plush
and wantonness
Solution absolves me
from torment
As I pass upon
the fiery gorges
of acceptation
and far away gone
bigoted taboo
For three hundred days
my mannequin stirred
Something inside,
emerges through
Braving forward,
I steer the porch;
fire and lightning
at the same time
Not the boy they knew;
just me
The perfect me
I'm going home.

The God of fire
It took him twenty years
to write his novel.
Twenty refusals later
he gave the manuscript
to the fire which
greedily absorbed it.
A phone call from nowhere,
send us another novel.
It took twenty more years
to write a new book
and the god Agni
burnt his hands.
As a thank you.
Success at last he cried
to a man with a yellow helmet
carrying an axe.
