Ancestry and Me

I am:
55% Western European
13% Jewish
20% Scotch-Irish
12% Scandinavian
So, my DNA tells me.

I’m a mutt, a combination,
an aggregation, an agglomeration,
a conglomeration and what other word
you want to use.

But, you add this all up
and I am me.

Three States of Aggregation

If water is life, death is ice, indeed.

The frost does not call for a long walk,
but it turns plain water into diamonds, though.

Only a month ago,
the lake had a staring contest with the sky
and apparently, the lake blinked.
You didn’t have the slightest chance, the lake:
the eternal sky always outstares
both you and me.

How nice to hear diamonds crunch underfoot!
I feel the frost is nipping my fingertips,
but the sun is already warming.
Soon our blue eyes,
yours, beautiful and elongated,
and mine, shortsighted and small,
will stare up again.

And then,
when the time of this world will come to an end,
we turn into steam and get back to the sky...
There's something comforting about this thought,
isn’t there,
my dear lake?

Love Has Both Sides

o
love

you are
flower,

you are
thorn,

someone hugs you
someone throws you

someone brings up you
someone kills you

you are the aggregation of
good and bad!

Lifesaver

This what I know that what I feel
Holding on to everything that belongs
That a hand will come up to save me
The sound is to much to bare
The moment of crowd has taking form
The out and in are beside me
That what holds truth matter
And I said
This what I know that what I feel
This what I know that what I feel
Motion of days sad but sick but twist here is
That of a night capture scene aggregation
The feel of the motion intent but no wonder
The hate but feel of this day take aim
The mountain oh but the river run rapidly
And I said
This what I know that what I feel
This what I know that what I feel
Life is worth fight for
And it start with
ME.

Buyer's Remorse

Temptation, leaky parts
The erratic behavior of
Industrial, copper hearts
Kept in the dark , despairing,
The dysfunctional silence
pumps through the grid,
Anonymous, incomplete
Too vast to forbid and
Ambiguous too. Herders,
Hurricane force baiters
Consolidate the prize,
Surround it with walls,
Aggregation, spiritual
Splinters burned for heat
and the wrapped nutrition
consumed under close
medical supervision,
embalmment, drip by drip
boredom, idle playrooms,
innovations, round trip
exploitations, the outer
wall get steeper and
against our good nature,
I’ll be jumping soon.

Sleeping Machines

The harbor gave a dim illumination,
lampposts vaguely penetrating the dark water.
As waves like shades of wine drowned the jagged shore of stone,
I watched a fibrous complexion of steel shimmer from the water's edge.

Ships sleep, rocking gently on a resting sea,
machines of quiet obedience.
The moon, outlining the clouds above with an electric hue,
watched over the winds as they circulated the vacant wharf like ghosts.

The smell of an approaching storm;
the sharp, distinctive fragrance of ozone as it sailed the satin brine.
The sound of distortion upon the ocean's surface;
precipitation submerged beneath its aquatic magnetism.

I closed my eyes as raindrops kissed my moonlit skin,
tracing the alloy carbon framework of cargo ships and yachts.
Falling down my cheekbones like an aggregation of tears,
the harbor became lost in a nostalgic cloudburst.

Divinity

I am the God you think you know
Conniver of creation
Maker of heaven on the ground
Accepting aggregation

I’m alone and I think you know
Consolation won’t survive
Creation nor destruction
Nor breaking of resolve

Nothing alters this equation

You’re the god that you don’t know
Master of creation
The stallion knowing not its strength
To gallop through salvation
