 -A poet in heat-

Ink carries its own tale,
When moonshine intoxicates your pen
Bottles of ink fill your mind
Composing symphonies on every line
Drops of passion all over the mask you wear
Nothing compares to black stains and broken nails

This part of you
"A CAN'T BE REMOVED" tattoo
The tough skin you'll ever live in
Fountain pens of split identities
Who Are You?
Sinking words like no other
Poisoned ink piercing every rhyme
Inferior poet, making the heart pure
Anger plus anger "GIVE ME MORE!"

You have a desire to paint all day,
Breathing and beating in every way
Toxic lines, from which ink flows
Inhaling images from the world
Deep and cold sorrowed emotions
True love is always easy to poetize
Dear Poet: "Ink Never Lies."

Pretty pink acrostic ink when she's nearby
Sugar and salt, Epic taste of reality
Ballads sang under the full moon
Sunny Sonnets, on any rainy day
Ode's of rivers from your past
A dark smile jotting down memory lane
Monologue tears brought under pressure
Loading cartridges of fresh Senryu and Haiku"
Dramatic red runs through your veins when all is done
Unfolding old and new propaganda's
POET: You are my favorite verse in every stanza
((Only this, and nothing more))
Writing is like giving birth

~STRIP TEASE~ Featuring:) SKAT

Silver Skimpy Ink, String, A POET DESTROYER's bling, bling
Think of me as a human ditty delicious decoration,
Something along the line of a sweet tooth temptation
Cherry tastes, between the slit of tender toast
Fine jumble jam slams down the tongueless throat
Dance like a diamond on The tight South Pacific Rim
I'll feed you with a slithering seductive sound
My hair soaking, -wet and wild, tonight I trim
A dulcet apple acrostic bottom, to squeeze the greed
Feathers, on top, poetic diction describing to please
At times, I'm in deep dire need of something sweet, and sour
Endless epic words, and ode to the naked poetic world
We The Women and Men of poetry,
Reveals far more than any nudity found in a bar
It does not matter how you do it or who you are.
I'm an entertainer, of Poetry,
The good, the bad, the freaking awesome
Don't worry, I keep my clothe On :)

---

Symbol of the spiritual Sexy SKAT Slang
--Provocative-- A slippery succulent, scrumptious kiss
Counterparts working the tension, another arrant appetite
I am the Illuminati illusion, laminating luscious illustrated letters
Indulging in the, satire of one stilt spoken sunset
Like a child's spiking temperature, I often throw tantrums,
Teasing attentions, by incorporating a pole, paper and pen,
If someone is uncomfortable with facing the fact,
When I reveal everything, without removing my high heels
Then you must not be worldly or women and man enough
I love to spoil and slur my scenery, using my best assets
My strength and power parallel, any unique universe
That's how confident the audience makes me feel
We The Women and Men of poetry,
Reveals far more than any nudity found in a bar
It does not matter how you do it or who you are.
I'm an entertainer, of Poetry,
The good, the bad, fantastic and fabulous
Don't worry, I keep my clothe On :)

This pledge that l,Ntando, make today serves
as my guideline that I shall follow
happily, ungrudgingly and tirelessly
for the sake of our love life.
Indeed l am well aware of the fact that
the beauty of this pledge does not only lie
in word alone but in action as well.

For that reason in every season
I shall show steadfast commitment
to the implementation of this pledge
with a great deal of astuteness.
I therefore commit myself to be your
devoted and delivering husband for
all the years l shall live with you
on this earth.

I shall treat you with the love and care
you deserve as my wife.
Indeed l shall treat you with
the distinction and dignity
that is befitting of the queen of my heart.
That body, that bone, that breath
shall be my mine to treasure,
for sure;
a dearness to promote and protect
for dear life…and love!
I shall stand by and with you in all the
situations of our life.
If the situation demands that we sail,
sail we shall together.
If the situation demands that we
climb,
climb we shall together.

I know very well what l am getting into:
I am getting into a marriage that is
overflowing with blessings.
This marriage- with our mutual
commitment-
will stand the test of time.
I know very well what I am getting into:
I am getting into a relationship that
brims over with a transforming power
of love.

This marriage-with our
mutual commitment –
will transform naivety into maturity
troubles into challenges
pretence into practice
pride into progress
bachelorship into companionship.
I pledge to be your steward and partner
for all times.

I shall value the consultations
and decisions that we make as
husband and wife.
As head of the family I shall do nothing

to derail our love train for anything else
least of all for personal and selfish reasons.
Now and forever

I am your lawful and loving husband…
This pledge that l, Nothando, make today serves
as my guideline that I shall follow
happily, ungrudgingly and tirelessly
for the sake of our love life.
Indeed I am well aware of the fact that
the beauty of this pledge does not only
lie in pronouncements but in practice
as well.

For this reason every season
I shall demonstrate untiring love
and loyalty to you;
a love and a loyalty that is a living
embodiment of our marriage vows.
I therefore commit myself to be your
honouring, supportive and loving wife
for all the years l shall live with you.
I shall treat you with the love and care
that you deserve as my husband.
Indeed I shall treat you with
the dignity and nobility that is befitting
of the king of my heart.
On my mind it is always fresh
that I am the flesh of your flesh.
Green or grown

I am the bone of your bone.
I know very well what I am getting into:
I am getting into a relationship that
elevates me into a kingdom of wifehood.
I shall endevour to put my family first
with all the rights, obligations
and privileges that come with wifehood.
I shall endevour to wipe off and ward off
loneliness and lostness from our relationship,
seeking nothing but your companionship;
banking on your stewardship,
sinking together any hardship.
Since you are mine
I shall not do anything else to undermine
our relationship for personal
or egotistical
reasons.
Now and forever
I am your lawful and loving wife…

All I see is beauty in the burning of her words,
The flickering of flames,
Constructs of fires licking at the night
From snow white sheets of dreaming.

The senses of her bleeding, ink and roses,
Sensual vibrancy,
Gliding rails streaming to the stars,
The links between the earth and heaven’s tide.

All I see is beauty in the visions of her art,
The tenderness of angels,
Architects of chapels wrought of lace,
An arbitrary grace of love.

The impressions of her breathing, saffron breath,
Exhaling of her soul,
Bestow of sleeping kisses to the lips,
Priestess of the mind and loin.

With flow and rhythm, poems can sing,
Music to ears: sounds are heard,
Euphoric eruptions it may bring,
Quintessentially spoken every word.

With words and lines, poems can rhyme
Caress the senses, soothe the eyes
In so few letters, through all times
Poems create images, soar the skies

Evoking emotions is what they’ll do
Fuelling the mind and inspiring as well
Metaphors and more and some even true
Open the door, let poet cast his spell

Enriching the world in wonderful ways
A poet and his poems: a pair that will stay

A solitary piece the diamond
precious rare gem most treasured
by those lucky enough to hold
Once in possession it is rarely out of grasp
Like the gemstone the mother
requires very specific conditions
in holding fast her (family/) childrens love
Treasured forever in her heart
she will go out of her way
to preen and protect them
holding them dear to her
deep within her maternal safe – the heart
closely guarded by the mind
Her infatuation of all treasures to her
are totally understandable
especially when you think to the complexity
of structure and process taken in creation
Just as from the ‘unbreakable’ in ancient greek
this allotrope of carbon
with strength of bonding between atoms
is representative of that strong love
between mum and child
The maternal being could be compared
to the superlative physical qualities of the stone
Even the characteristic luster
of this gem so prevalent from its ability
to disperse light and colour
compared to the many strengths
roles and qualities of the mother
seen by the many she deals with daily
A most high pressured job
versus the high pressured temperature
within the Earths mantle
that forms the delightful rock it gives birth to
Infants delight and ignite the forbearer
just as the jewel would dazzle the room
a mother’s love encaptures the magical luster
of those she’s birthed and nothing
stands inbetween this richest of cargo’s

The sun was setting, as it usually does
The town a ghost town, the main street all but silenced
The wind blowing leaves and dreams to and fro
The tension in the air was palpable

The few souls about all peering out shuttered windows
When in from the west, came a storm
Her name was Serena Storm,
They shivered in her wake, the poetess of dead lovers

Then over to the east side, riding in slow and steady
The grim reaper or so it seemed, hollowed eyes
Dead soul and dark mind, his side arm at the ready
The greatest duel in history, right here

In the town of Nowhere

The setting sun reflected of her dark long coat
The last tear drop, falling to its death in the dust
She stared ahead, face blank
Daring, with a glare, shoot me, shoot me, try

He dismounted his horse, called Heartless Soul
His eyes slits, staring down the curvaceous storm pacing untoward
His hand inside his coat, slowly pulling out a mickey
He belted down a shot or three,

In the town of nowhere

They both paced, hands at their side
Closer and closer, the saloon keeper
Not quite sure his bottle would be paid in full
Then as quickly at the sun set……

Vaso drew first.
The finest long black quill one ever saw
His other hand dropped his bottle
Magically a writing pad appeared

Serena drew second, pen at her side
The color of blood, and for good reason
She too tablet in hand, putting ink to paper
As they both furiously wrote

In the town of Nowhere

Hearts were murdered
The meaning of life was hanged not long after
Love was beheaded
The main street a river of blood

A storm of tears washing away crimson desires
An empty vassal, Vaso’s insides already dead
Dropping his pen, he pulled out his sword of mourning
The duel to end, as he lopped off his own head

She dropped paper and pen to the ground
She faced down the grim reaper, and it’s he who is dead
The only one to know, his name was Arthur
King of the dark, ruler of lost dreams

In the town of Nowhere

The poetic duel of the century
Both won and lost
Long ago

Ana
She writes her songs and her poems,
not one person know 'em.
She listens to the sound of her music,
she's stuck to it like a tick.

If someone took the time to listen,
her true colors would glisten.
She's put on a mask,
and hid everything when someone asked.

She was the type of girl who would always laugh,
making you wish it would last.
She was the type of girl who would smile the day away,
too bad it is no longer that way.

She is now the girl who is depressed,
I bet you're impressed.
Since no one could tell
that she was going through hell.

Everyone thought she was happy,
when really, she felt crappy.
Everyone thought she was having the time of her life,
who would have guess her best friend was a knife?

She spent her days alone,
she seemed to do everything on her own.
Never once wanted help.
Thought she could do everything herself.

Then the day came,
when she lost the game.
She fell apart,
and everyone saw her broken heart.

They saw the way she overreacted.
Oh, if only you saw the way she acted.
She bruised herself, scratched herself, and made herself bleed,
no one knew what it was that she needed.

They saw her tears,
and that was what she feared.
They found out she wasn't okay,
oh, she hated that day.

Everyone found out about her secret,
and she wish they'd just forget,
but she knew they couldn't,
and that they wouldn't.

She left that town and started over,
no one knew she went undercover.
She said she got better,
when really... something else occurred.

She secretly hurt herself,
and walked away from help.
Everyone thought she recovered,
when really, she was undercover.

She secretly wanted to get worse,
no one knew of course.
No one cared to ask,
if she was wearing her mask.

Now it's too late,
she locked the gate.
Killed herself,
everyone had forgotten she needed help.

Goodbye cold world,
this was a story of a girl
who once loved everyone
then feared who it was who won.

REMNANT
The Book of Prophecy was open to a silent page. Tis she thought of the biblical generation in forty stages. Her heart she hears. In this life that Ora lives, she has fought for wisdom to ensure longevity. Salient she sits looking out in the sunflower fields. The vented darkness encapsulated. Her mind ponders on the spiritual world. She was, she felt, as lost as Poe. Her favorite Poet of long ago spoke through his writings to only Ora. In the fields, stands the raven. A bird of blackness and such beauty but yet a threat to her, she felt she was attached to a nonphysical existence. Transcendental was the raven's head, as she perched on the mantle. She takes her breath every time because this woman fears what this symbolizes. Surcease, this woman would shout aloud. No respect for me do you have at my house. Such demeanor is not to be tolerated. This woman strikes out at the raven. The raven flipped her wings beguilingly with decorum of her wickedness. The forty years has transgressed with the omen sent. This woman was struck by the raven’s beak. Mournful she lays with her memory defeated. Tis morn came and she lays awaken. Ora’s visitors found her in a pitiful state. They prepared her chambers for her to rest. Will she live to see the next forty years? Of youthful existence, she was. Of her age, she was not. The raven figurative existence defined her knowledge. Portent and foretoken, a scoff of hope is the raven augury. She is epoch to her well-being. May this story end? Nevermore

I AM, "THE POETESS" The array of pigeons stampede upon soft blue-white bears camping on the mountaintops. Stretching shadows across green fields, slowly depart when sun yawns to sleep. When moon-dust streams bathing the night sky, horizon gleams brushing--a hidden tryst below. From biting misery caused by world wars' fangs to lullaby hums of tweeting birds and of seagulls' swish and pounds... Grand or not they are spark spectacles drawing lifeline.. (I am the poetess who loves to write about these) Through my pen, I echo to the world the rhythmic message of love. I open the eyes of man to see the beauty among God's creations. (I am the poetess who is a lover of God and forever am seeking ways to please Him more than any) I bring beauty too, that even the blind can see.. Some trembles: songs and speech of angels that even the deaf can hear.I want to touch the lips of the dumb that they may psalm the ballads of life. (I am the poetess who is 29 y/o this year, a nurse, a singer, a cook in my own right :D!) I lift the spirit of the crushed then cheer victors in the pedestal. I invoke joy when there is none. Hence, even tears: a scream of smiles. (I am the poetess who dares try and reach my limits and beyond, writing from my heart of hearts and from my thought of thoughts) I light up a candle in the midst of hopelessness then usher through morals in verse:the cavalcade of humanity (I am the poetess who expresses freedom of expression responsibly-- wanting always to inspire, encourage and to remind) Poetic finesse not always my ground My name may never be known but each stanza I write I hope it may wake your somber muse. (I am the poetess that always consider herself-- beginner in every poem she writes...) I am the poetess... ________________________________________________________________ Sponsor TAMMY REAMS Contest Name Bio of a Poet ---Placed 3rd--- O.E. Guillermo 9:11 pm, April 15, 2015

Hounds from Hell take their toll on your soul
as you walk the mainstreet of mainstream
and watch Saturn and Neptune dance to a simple tone
of silence in the outer space.
As you sit in the middle of the world
alone;
free yourself from the sense of hopelessness,
only see yourself in the mirror of deception
as your reflection laughs at you and looks right through you,
and doesn't have remorse for what it says or does to you.

Hounds from Hell take your soul,
chock you, cut of your air,
the smog and fog blind you in the city of ash.
Hear the hounds from hell howl for your soul,
go now, barracade your soul behind sins and temptation,
Alone, listening to your soul die away,
watch love go away from you, with suitcase in hand,
picture frames broken and collect dust through the sands of time.
Till the cleaning lady comes on Monday, to clean the mess
that you left behind.
You are gone, without a trace of ever returning.
Looks of the Hounds of Hell came for you and stole you from
comfort and warmth,
till the sorrowed heart cracks and pain spills out
and you look at it all spill out over the floor.
The Hounds from Hell have paid a consumable harmage to you,
and your rich soul of sorrowness burns away... slowly.

Fear darkens souls,
innocent souls burn with a new day,
a slumber that has no end
with nightmares haunting every light of hope
there is left in this desolate Wasteland.
Fear and darkness tears a hole in the darkened universe
and we all go to hell to see the Hounds,
who come for us all.
The graveyards fill,
and death guards the tombstones of the dead,
and the flowers burn away on the feet of the dead.

I found poetry soup several years ago,
And it has been a wonderful journey;
Sharing poems of sadness and eternity,
Only here, can I let go of all my emotion.
But treat me with respect so I can grow,
Reponses to my sad writes are wonderful;
But, there are two sides here, one beautiful,
The side where we share poems and words.
With lovely comments like musical cords,
I want support not rules from administration;
And instead of demands give me direction,
And the blog side- well is quite dreadful.
Oh, the beautiful side is where I wish to dwell,
Administration, be fair so I never say farewell.

She's broken.
She just wanted her thoughts to be spoken.
For her words to mean something,
For her words to be affecting.

But she feels worthless.
Her dream was to become an actress,
to inspire others ti achieve their dreams,
but she had fallen in the streams.

She lost all of her hope,
having no way to cope.
She wakes up every morning,
ready to start acting.

She puts on her mask,
hoping for someone to ask,
hoping for someone to realize
how long this has been going on, and apologize.

Yet no one seems to care,
she feels like she shouldn't be there.
Since no one seems to notice her,
that is what she has inferred.

But then someone spoke up,
noticed how she was lost like a pup.
So they decided to help,
she first yelped.

For she never knew how to accept,
she only knew she wept.
Later, she saw light,
and shone bright.

She finally saw that she was someone,
not a no one,
but she meant something.
She was finally acknowledging

Her true beauty,
she found her true duty,
to help others,
and make things better.

Poetess she is, whose magic is cast with great ease
Opulent in words, charming to the utmost degrees,
Engraving hisses, silhouettes, images of natures surreal
Trespassing horizons never stretched out to an ideal

Destroyer as known for, although she's here to compose
Enchating poems and songs her beautiful soul bestows
Such a fusion encourages poets to hold their inks and quills
To write 'bout nymphs in seas or orchards filled with daffodils
Rampantly defeated by her as what often happens, except
Of all practiced skilled writers she's definitely the most adept
Yielded in a words-battle having a single acknowledged end
Efficacious "She" is by far a star who can simply transcend,
Reproductions of literary stylistic forms in her magnificent way

Thank goodness for a sun,
the rays that cross the plane!
My office remains melancholy,
a dimness I defend.

Daily I defend this muted light,
thinking it "muse", drinking it blind.

On overcast days, I get away with it;
be it blinds pulled, or curtain down
(rarely both: I'm not an ANIMAL!),
a ray or two may lift the room,
cause a breath, pull me out.

In day, the birds do not distract so.
Outdoor noises are immaterial.
Night of course, is a cause in itself.
At these times, sleep is a mistress
I dare not court, nor think about.
Night draws and draws, she never gives back.

Thank goodness for sun, and a nap on the day.
Earth's elegant axis, Sun's elegant ray.

I cannot stop
writing about you my Love.
You are more than prose and poetry,
beyond inked imagery.
Pen and paper cannot capture your creed my Love.

I can't just stop
singing about you my Love;
You are more than moonlight melodies,
and resounding rhapsodies.
Lyrical stunts are not enough to spot your pattern my love.

I cannot stop
thinking about you my Love,
You are inscribed in my whole heart,
as my indelible art;
life's raging flood cannot erase you my Love.

Poetry, O poetry my love!
You make me hear the twilight songs of stars,
and take me beyond the brightest blue...
bear me forever on the wings of words my love!

The inspiration becomes a song
depending on an oceans verse
a seagull's cry calls upon the ancient mariner

Enchanting riches turns to dust moulded

Singing sunrise over horizon's mist
on the dark side of a moonbeam lost
Howling into an empty void
blood drips upon material planted
rays of light paints with hope dwells peace

From it's seed grows the apple bitten
once sewn deeply shades the blossoms pink
flowing rivers turning tides over

The seas part with death tolling time's reflection
watered by dewdrops sparkling green pastures growing
stronger for living pierced within daggers hurled by hate

Salted the remains of injured spiced injustices bring
perfumed inside regrets a living truth expelled nightmares
we all become haunted by ghosts of a past life
hunted by the wolves whom pack abuse unrelenting

We become the sheep
through eyes of forgiveness
held forever fragile within cotton wool
dancing away with the clouds
makes way for the sky to open your eyes
to colour through our optic nerves
one vision in words to complete

From one poet to another
Your words in me are a thunder
That fills me soul with wonder
As my open heart you plunder

Though I cannot see your face...
Through my poetry covered lace
Your deep feelings I can trace
My heart beat quickens a pace

Your every line scintillates
My wayward heart subjugates
My inner thoughts punctuates
My very soul confiscates

Your heart’s rhythm and rhyme
Not bound to moments of time
Makes each encounter sublime
Holds me with imagery fine

Addiction is my sweet game
And your poetry is to blame
My life is no longer the same
My high begins with your name

Each word is just meant to please
Makes me fall down on my knees
My hunger I must appease
Oh, feed me now, if you please!

I travel the paths of your mind
Treasures of worth my great find
To all else I am now blind
Our twin souls have intertwined

I stared in the eyes of Beauty, and she was...
Everything I thought she would be
But when I saw her I was speechless
She noticed me I noticed her
Her fragrance was beautiful
She smelled like frankincense & myrrh
We made eye contact she gave me a lil smile
And kept walking
Then and there I knew I had to have this woman
I wanted to smell her beauty
I had to feel her touch I want to
Fall in love wit her not lust
I want her to fall asleep in my arms
Not just have sex & bust a nut
I want her to be my everything
I want her to take refuge in me
I wanna hear her say that she misses me
When I'm with her I wanna feel like I'm free
So I call out to her and I say...
I been looking for you
She says I been waiting on you
We converse in a conversation
And all the anticipation is thrown out the door
You see this woman just makes my heart soar
And her personality just makes me crave for
Her love even more
We exchange numbers and we go our separate ways
I know she's different from every woman I met
Because I ain't thinking bout gettin laid
And all I keep thinking bout is will we last
Or just be another fling
But a couple minutes later my cell phone rings... it's her

Today I will write about stars-
Not the usual
Compressed galactic-gleams,
Not the speckling
In deep sky seen,
Tracked and charted
By singular-minded, bright-eyed teams-

No-I will speak of Real Stars,
Day and night stars-
Eternal Stars
Never growing dim,
Burning brightly
From star-dust within-
Not a glow in cold darkness
Between starlight above
But Mysterious Light
Deeper gazers call Love-

Stars that blink
To illumine the poor,
Have learned by faith
To persist and endure-
Stars who dry
The damp
Blanket the cold,
These warm glows
Surrounding
All of God's Fold-
Never dimming-
(A mission to give)
Preaching less-
Word what they live-
Warring on crime
Disease and despair
Never for profit
Simply to care,
Sacrifices not subject
For peddlers dealing in fame-
But God's Asterisk,
His Radiance,
Lighting each name-

This Light is always there-
When one thinks less of taking
And more, to share-
Same Light that shown
From out the tomb,
Giving earth a choice
Between Light and dark gloom-
Light seen brightly
In a new mother's eyes,
Amazed and surprised
That something so radiant
Could come from within,
Not starlight of sky, but Pure Light,
Where all lights begin

What Does A Poet See

What does a poet see?
It is a consciousness others lack?
Is that how we see beauty in everything?
The hidden world inside a blooming flower
So many colors in a sunset
Even the reflective surface in an ice cube
Our minds see so much that others do not see
Our words describe the reality we see
A reality we created as our own
Our pens are the paint brushes of the gods
We share feelings no one will talk about
If they realize that they even exist
What does a poet see?
We see beauty and hope in everything
If not for the lowly poet
How would the world know that beauty exists?

A portal to another realm
Etched frame and frost adorned
The cadence of the fire’s sound
Keeps all my senses warm

A vast array of bristlecone pine
And snow tipped, Douglas fir
Stand just beyond this door of mine
Where squirrels and wild game stir

A winter blanket, hides the green
Covering miles of rolling fields
The stretch of land, as white and clean
As the picture that it yields

Sunshine through my windows
Warm up the hardwood floor
A magnet for my pup to doze
Beneath the morning pour

Sipping from my favorite mug
A pleasing size and shape
It provides, For me, a morning tug
It soothes me wide awake

These are the days, I find myself
When I create my works of art
Soaking in my sights and smells
Where ideas begin to spark

Sometimes my poetry is just a case of words,
and not necessarily my reality;
and that’s what is so beautiful about writing

You can be who you want to be on any level
and tell secrets about fantasies that may never be;
or take trips to other dimensions on mental journeys, or places that some don’t even think exist

They mimic thoughts that manifest themselves as poetry
and rest on pages patiently waiting to adhere
My words are a reflection of my heart
and they reveal the truth behind my mask of fear
they deliver reality doses whether they are just cases,
or me in the absolute right here

My words exude positive intentions;
my imperfections apparent but I accepted rejections
and reversed dejection
and decided to bare all my fantasies, my flaws my very soul
and temptations

Uncertain how voiced verses appeal to outside sources but internally they set me free
They provide a medium of light and creativity
A chance to apply knowledge and a time for reflecting on and making changes in my frequency
My words are attached to my soul and its overwhelming ability to just be
They reflect what I was before
the choices I’ve made and the reasons that this life is perfect
according to divine order

They represent the voices of my ancestors from the beginning of time
because up until now,
the ending wasn’t within reach so I make sure that I
carefully choose the format and the right place and time
to deliver the message that may be blatant or hidden inside –
of the abstract placements of verbs
giving praise to the source of power that calmly submits to the voice
connected to my words
I am the originator of my own words
I hope that you are inspired, or simply entertained
by the process by which I've placed my words

Sometimes I admire the littlest things
A simple rock. A blade of grass.
They need no future goals, no tax exemptions
They don’t need to go anywhere or be anything
They just are.

Sometimes, especially when I’m reading life insurance policies,
I envy the rocks and the grass
And try to be like them for a moment.
I sit perfectly still and give myself to the wind-
And it whispers in my ear:
Just be.
And for that moment I don’t need to go anywhere or be anything.
And at the snap of my fingers,
All the complex widgets and gizmos that make up my life
Fold into paper airplanes and fly off in the wind.

Sitting on top of the mountain
I was exclaiming at the beauty
of a sunset I wouldn't want a life
without nature in it.

Now as I age I face far greater
limitations,
I felt so many varieties
of emptiness lately.
 I need to block the
meaningful communication,
and be willing to become
transformed to ignore
what my ego is saying,
and listen to my soul.

I have but one dream
that's my family,
one heart that's me in them
 with them no matter
 wherever they are,
near or far we will reach
 that star, we will spend
much time as a family,
it never happened .

My life is sad although
I did nothing that bad
to deserve to live,
as lonesome as it can get.
I yearn to live a life
where all is bright
and everything is alright
before losing my insight.

That is why unfortunately
my choices and options
became more limited.
Living in the past
I had to learn how to live
my life with those restrictions,
imposed on me due to our
financial circumstances,
because of the sixteen years
of war in our country.

My heart is homeless
escaped to lay on a pavement,
beg a passer by offer a tissue
to wipe away the unspoken,
 that was hiding in me
 for years.

Oh! twister, whirl me strongly
towards spring showers,
wet my brain with a drop
of water to surface intact,
accept that my loneliness
is doomed.
     Alone I am.

Always running late;
Just taking time to enjoy it.
Life is a car speeding fast,
But it's better to be stuck in traffic.

A new photograph floats to the surface
Playfully dressing up as the world around me
Hat, striped socks and all
Tiptoeing at the top for one last sweet moment
Before sinking back into my ocean mind.

One after another they arrive
Single file,
Steeping my eyes in the world
As the minds shutter, ever fluttering
Strings together this conscious stream I play in.

My photographs fade in time’s wrinkled arms.
Joining their brothers and sisters at the ocean floor,
They hold hands and try to answer the question that is always asking itself:
Who am I?

You send bolts through my skin
something I was never to
accomplish with you, when I
saw you it's like my heart sank
to my stomach and I was in
shock my body still my body
heavy felt like when I moved I
was about to fall to my knees
you make me want to get
inside my brain pick you up and
take you out pick you one by
one like a flower because I do
love you and love you not.

Have I?
Captured you?
Rapture’d you?
I stare at you
The moon at my back
Wine dripping as blood
Life dripping from your soul
My red hair shines and glows
My Naughty thoughts so sublime
I will devour you
I will make you
Make you be who you are
Make you howl like a wolf in the night
Pleasures as you have never known
Caressing upon your chest
My love, we have no time at all to rest
In peace, just yet
Do you see me, full of your essence?
I smile at our fate of the evening time
I know in the end
All the pleasure I bring to you
You oh great love will return ten fold
I will moan like a satisfied feline
We have accomplished what our tribes said was not
Allowed or possible
Hold me dear
Hold me forever
As we plunge
Together in the depths of love
And leave this world
Forever

Notes: This poem was all over the map, and finally I molded it after the famous Romeo and Juliet.
