In The Wilderness

Captive beauty, in the wilderness alone
Golden moments of a man’s solitude
Stands gloriously, as when bliss does hone
Caught within life are the mountains of stone
Awe inspiring view of man’s fortitude
Captive beauty, in the wilderness alone
Through a silent song, love’s nature atones
Breath taking heartbeats of the altitudes
Stands gloriously, as when bliss does hone
Peaceful home in the trials, each to his own
Seasons renew with humble attitudes
Captive beauty, in the wilderness alone
Sharpened senses, now feel all the tone,
of gracious gifts, in their amplitude
Stands gloriously, as when bliss does hone
All of His creation, in its self does grown
Alone with God is a sufficient multitude
Captive beauty, in the wilderness alone
Stands gloriously, as when bliss does hone

Sodom and Gomorrah

Sodom and Gomorrah are here on earth
Wickedness and debauchery abound
Transgressors need a spiritual rebirth

I thank God for the blessed Savior’s birth
Depravity and sin are all around
Sodom and Gomorrah are here on earth

Know not them what their salvation is worth?
I hope and pray corrupt souls will rebound
Transgressors need a spiritual rebirth

Fasten the Lord’s armor around your girth
And pray from sun up until the sun goes down
Sodom and Gomorrah are here on earth

The aftermath of salvation is mirth
Heavenly choir make triumphant sound
Transgressors need a spiritual rebirth

Sin is plentiful, holiness is dearth
May the souls that are lost be swiftly found
Sodom and Gomorrah are here on earth
Transgressors need a spiritual rebirth

Holy Week

Palm Sunday is the start of Holy Week.
The people come with waving palms to hear
Our pastor tell of Galilean meek.

They come both young and old to seek
The Easter message that we all hold dear.
Palm Sunday is the start of Holy Week.

The story never loses its mystique.
More and more parishioners appear
As pastor tells of Galilean meek.

Tears from our eyes begin to leak
As Jesus goes toward death without a fear.
Palm Sunday is the start of Holy Week.

The next few days will be so very bleak
As our Savior to his final fate draws near.
Our pastor tells of Galilean meek.

We hear about the kiss upon the cheek.
As Judas betrays One he should revere.
Palm Sunday is the start of Holy Week.
Our pastor tells of Galilean meek

Down the Rabbit Hole

I wish I had just said no
the first time I tasted sin
It's like going down a rabbit hole.

I thought it would help me reach my goal
like a genie from Aladdin
I wish I had just said no.

Sins to make life less dull
Sins to make a friend
I wish I had just said no.

Can't stop, can only go
I'm worse than I've ever been
It's like going down a rabbit hole.

God, please take control
Make me a saint again
I wish I had just said no
It's like going down a rabbit hole.

Life Rages On

The sun dances above the clouds Though the sunsets with no regrets Death comes but light is my shroud
*
Be wise my son good night for now Joy in the morning light does not forget The sun dances above the clouds
*
Good or bad both in the end do bow Though sadness fills your eyes so wet Death comes but light is my shroud
*
Rejoice at my goodbye it is only for now Reunions are sweet it is like we never left The sun dances above the cloud
*
Though my eyes dim and a voice not so loud Whispers of love do pass through the dark net Death comes but light is my shroud
*
We will meet again among the crowd’s When morning has come after the sunset The sun dances above the clouds Death comes but light is my shroud
