with each crest of a wave
forming white crystal peaks
she weeps, inhales, let's go.

beneath a star studded vista
a resplendent guiding light
arms open, palms up, she is free.

the soothing sea winds
carrying away her grief and sorrow
hands posed in devotion, she smiles.

in a seascape of serenity
her baptism place of choice
she steps forward, her new beginning.

~~The Wind~~

           ---
Look into my eyes
Follow me into a world of ecstasy
There and only there
Will you find the peace to unwind
           ---

Beautiful brown eyes not blue
Shady lids, stunning ocean view
Embracing every word

Hear the wind whispers your name
Come with me
Drown with me
Into the abyss of loving rain
Embrace this moment as I draw you in with words
Release you with the warmth -------I was there

I Share--I take
I LOVE--I HATE
Into my arms
I am the charm
Around your neck
Around your wrist
Listen to the voice from my beating heart
It yearns
The freedom of touch
The freedom of speech.
Of love,
Of purity
Like the wind
I'll find my way
Into your heart
Arouse the cheerful energy
Of your insecurity and pen
Follow me into the sea
There we will fall into the deep
Build sand castles
Around dreams of reality
Slip into my aura light
Set to the rhythm of the oceanic night

Now, listen to the breeze
It's called out your name
It's only a matter of time----------------
You'll find yourself calling out...... mine

I stand on the edge of your ocean, ready to dive in
Wanting to discover the depths of you
I have looked at the surface of you
Beautiful beyond my puny words
Sometimes your calmness relaxes me
I become lost in your serenity
My eyes are stretched to your horizon
I can not see all of you
I play innocently along your shores
I dip my toes into your cool waters
Slowly I am drawn into you
I feel you encompass my body
Then there is an undertow
I am helpless to resist, drawn further from the shore
To the centre of you
I do not wish to escape
I trust you with my very soul
Sinking beneath the surface
I am wrapped in your embrace
Color surrounds me, my being is infused with your joy
The feeling of weightlessness, we are now joined
You are the beginning and completion of me
I was not meant to just stand on your shores

Dedicated to the Love of my life. I continue to explore the depths of her.

The atmosphere rings with the bell like calls
of the plover flock, long before they are spotted.
The flight herringbones a grey fedora sky.
Markings of white and coal black weave,
wing-stitched, a blanket maker’s dream.

Sigh makers they close on the beach
at high tide, the horizon shivers the
sand blanches. These ravishing scavengers
light on the tattered edge of wet to dry,
dawdling with the dead.

Plovers are diminutive scroungers, one-legged
dancers, hopping to the pull of tide, dining on
crab-eggs in black-tie and feathered tails, their
gray skull caps lined with a black brow.
Sparrow-small birds dress to the nines.

A feast for the birds, fall crisps, crab moltings,
go on for endless miles. September is beginning
and soon winged ones will fly to sunny shores.
The cold Atlantic will moan for the loss of music,
the unstitched sky will part. The avian choir is off
to the mud flats of Carolina.

Allay ...

Allay, my heart ...
  Pray, hush your cadence ...
For the sacred sake of unsated thirst
Beg thy thrums to be not now abounding.

Each dream comes haunting, dusted in dusk
Every sentimental pluck of your syrupy strings
Beckons her back to my yearnings, interminable
Every wistful pang is strummed by her affect on me.

This place, dipped in the dripping mist of morning
Echoes things quite beyond my words ... of her
'Tis no forte for flowery phrase can capture it
No poetic capacity worthy of its description.

It pulls and mills my spirit like the ebb of the briny blue
But to its most dark, stinging, brumal depths.
She was such a visceral part of my fibre ...
From the quintessence of deep, dreaming slumber

To the first nascent meandering of each wish-flavored morning
(Her sublime taste still seasoning my mouth ... and my mentalities).
From the uncommon commonplace of teatime sun in her tresses
To the chipped-edge porcelain puddles of the mocking moon

Cackling at my fevered foolishness for its glint in her eyes
Or for her skin, when she'd dip her toes in pale pools of twilight.
My core breathed her like youth breathes rebellion
And the cells of her press on my emotions, infused my blood

Coursing like the fire of a drug through my arteries.
  Never ... ne'er did I touch her
But to write secret stories on her skin
Fingertips spelling out sexy words in cursive

Or focusing the intent of my heart to a simple caress -
A brush of her shoulder, a graze of her cheek
A stroke to put her hair behind her ear
A pillow-deep hug - full of warmth and security

A gentle pat of her knee
Or a grasp of her hand ... like heaven!
Each space corresponding with mine, like perfect dovetail.
This place, to some, is just that - a place

But it was OUR place, you see, and it sighs of US
  Deeply, forlornly, achingly ...
The wash of the waves is but the whisper of her name
The salt-sea fresh air aromas are her perfume

The feel of the cool sand under each footstep
Is but a soft memory of the tender, tousled passion we shared
    And this dark, misty day
Is the remnant of my heart ...

The melancholy that drips from my spirit to the well of days gone.
I shall not come here again, though I love it so ...
Oh, how I adore this place and all it means
But if I ever return, it will claim me ...

It will swallow me as time has swallowed her
It will transform me to this damp, dour, graying mist
And I'll be lost to the wind and the dark
Just as surely as she is lost ...

To me.

As the last opalescent glow of sunset fades away I sail this ship alone towards a crimson horizon over a starlit sea to the soft lapping of waves which lullaby my destiny I sail this ship alone far from the coral sand far from the pebbled beach far from my sun-kissed land Tonight there is no moon but there's a sparkle in the sky a starry night so still filled with beacons of bright light Tomorrow births a new dawn a song within a dream meadows of yellow buttercups and fields of evergreen Tomorrow I'll be greeted by a pink-winged butterfly a host of daffodils, and golden dandelions a rose within a smile Tomorrow I stroll along a new shore feel fresh salt spray on my cheek dance bare-foot in the wind as Spring whispers on the breeze.

Making Love In Jamaica At The Iconic James Bond Beach It is a sun splashed day;  the air is silent with the sound of waves  the ocean is moving to the rhythm of crying gulls.  The fine white sand underneath our feet is warm. The crashing waters from a small wind sculpted waterfall swims  into the arms of its mother sea. It is a private beach at a spot in the world  where the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean meld. It is a wanting sensation of hot then cold, that teases the senses. The beach is deserted it is only me and the love of my life.  The golden rays of light from the bright morning star  lives in the flow of her platinum blond hair.  In her eyes I can see the bright clear ocean,  with a piercing love glare that beckons me.  Her red lips, her light drenched skin glows  with the beauty of this perfect Jamaican day. Without a thought I grab the back of her head,  jerking my lover's whole body towards me  locking her in the strength of my grasp  inviting her to quench my desire. I bite her lips before engaging in a deep passionate kiss  remove her barely there bikini from her statuesque figure. She embraces me as I lift her in my arms  naked for all the Gods to observe.  I set her down under the refreshing flow of the rushing waterfall.  She attempts to pull at me, but I deny her, hold back both her arms and use my mouth  to suckle her, all the time absorbing the beating waters  that kneads my flesh like so much dough. Suddenly I set her free.  She pounces  like a lioness  a lioness in heat  famished  for the taste of flesh. The world dissappears  I find myself willingly trapped in a void of marvel. Nature's voice conducts  an orchestra of emotions. We writhe in the ecstasy of touch as a series of divine strokes finger paints portraits of rapture.  We dance slow to the precise notes  of a symphony of love into the arms of serenity. In one fluid movement our bodies become one. There is no end to the flavors we consume. Cooling waters flame our sins.  We explode like a building imploding gracefully to the roar of a white sound. Finally we pass out  naked, locked in each others arms.  When we awaken we find ourselves lying on  the fine white sand beach. Tattooed  in the telling shades  of a Jamaican suntan. 02~11~2014 Sponsor: Justin Bordner Contest Name: Make Love To Me In That Ancient Place

Constantly she toils
in the darkness of the heaving sea
gathering treasures into her aprons deep;
twice a day she knocks, panting,
at the shoreline’s wide stretching door,
and scatters her abundant gifts
for vagabonds like me to reap.

Fastening my grip on you, throwing my head up high Where colours fight in sunlight bright enough to blind me Vortices, one after another, dizzyingly maelstroms of words disappear unspoken Will they drown me those waves, will they drown me can I come up and breathe again? can I hold on and survive? Waves riding the board with you blue sky opens to warm glow of the sunlight from where I am the shore is near I relax, while you steer small waves rippling lulling me to sleep *** August 22, 2017 Copyright © Darren White

                  Glistening off the breathing sea

                            From sea to sea

**Example for my contest.**

THE CRICKET

chirp chirp!

Visions of my past why are they following me?

Leave me the h3!! Alone,

Let me be, the earth is my home.

I am not willing to fly free allowing my deception to roam free.

A passion I no longer see.

I find myself lying on this grass all alone.

Tears caused by my saddened past.

How can I hear the ocean waves, only trees surround me?

A life I cry why me?

I have no guide to show me how

I have been all alone before the age of one.

I have nothing to call my own.

What is that chirping sound?

Allowing me to live knowing my mother, did not care.

An embryo in her womb, safe in your care.

My mother's destruction pulled me out of a life that was not for me.

Where is my guide?

Crickets chirping soundly, how is that supposed to comfort me?

Do you not care for me? Why do you send the smallest insect to laugh at me?

Every time I fall to the ground, a chirping is the only sound.

I'm not ready to be rescued, I have not found my final stop.

Why is this insane insect in front of me?

Is that an annoying sound just for me?

What a silly way to show me who and what you can be!

Thinking of you in the biggest form.

An insect I can hardly see.
Why did it not come to me, on wings?

Do you mock all those times I fell onto the ground?

It was not the ocean waves I heard.

It was always the sounds of millions of crickets around me.

Showing me your power can come in any form, shape, and size.

Next time stings your way into my life like a bee.

We knew , it was if a moment stopped in time
hearing the news before most of the World did
He loved to fly his plane from Colorado to Monterey Bay
He was a avid golfer at Pebble Beach respected

He had loves and passions from many places
deciding to fly low through the overcast red sunset
Not only did he love music and inspire all
He loved his Plane , he will always remain a beautiful Soul

The next day it was confirmed ..all saddened
It was John Denver's plane that went down
Today in Pacific Grove stands the Memorial
So Kiss me and smile for me we will ~

Beneath the illumination of the elliptical moon,
Within the cove of diamond bay, waves gently sway
Back and forth, under the oceans clarity of the big blue,
As the surfs foam and spray roll against the white sandy
Beaches beyond.
Hush the breeze whispers to the gulls above, hush, hush now,
Be still, for soon they will come, but these chatter snappers.
Refuse to yield in their battering’s scrawling, until the ocean
Itself-lashes out at them to be quiet.
In the silence of the timeless, in the paused hush of the
Aquatic wilderness, something stirs.
Behold the leaping lords of the blue abyss,
Breaching upwards, as if to tenderly kiss the moon above,
Thanking it for another day of life, to live wild and free,
Beneath the waves of infinity, of the big blue.
Dancers on fins of grace, seemingly toe stepping on the
Waves in a delicate balance, just for a second of brilliance
Display, while others incline in a somersault acrobatic
Air assault, to pay homages respect to the magnificent
Ocean for its eternal beauty, and salvation's refuge.
These gray phantoms of the divine ethereal realm,
Born with purity’s heart of innocence, true creatures
Of light and love, shine in the diamond star dust of twilight.
Birthed within the quaking wake of the lords divining hands,
At the moments his voice rose, in the beginning of time itself,
Dividing the light from the darkness, the dolphin took its first
Air breath of life, and the Lord Almighty,
Smiled down upon his aquatic creation with warmth and love.
Perfections free falling divers, enchanting the human heart
With their graceful swiftness, stealth and intelligence.
The sailor’s guardians at sea, these vigilant sentinels of the
Briny depth, follows the surging storms hailing, and await
To assist in the deist hour of humanities greatest need.
Within their loving pod, the young are nurtured by devotions
Breasts of giving, no tender a mother can ever be found
Then she the dolphin, born from the grace of God himself.
In the silence of the timeless, in the paused hush of the
Aquatic wilderness, something stirs beneath the waves
Of clarity.
Behold the leaping lords of the blue abyss,
Breaching upwards, as if to tenderly kiss the moon above,
Thanking it for another day of life, to live wild and free,
Beneath the waves of infinity, of the big blue.

You're a maiden so hot burning thoughts
whom melts ice inside deep waves salted
unfolding ocean swells kissing your feet
For once spoke those hot lips the truth shining

Sunshine pleasing warm beholding to
one's eye golden crowned jewel beauty
rainbow luster coloring pearl treasure

It's giving off their beauty pure free
that does not require something in return

A lady who pleases the heart warm
Princess cut with deep class sparkling pure
utopia's adorable sun rise

How the body is heated and hear
her echoing heart beat in the chambers

Shining a future path dreaming ore
every single moment precious links
each one spent with you falling under spell

Love is like pure sparkling magic gem
unpredictable true and marvelous

Magic silk covers batting eyelids
enchanting soft lovingly flowers
beautiful petals held within the shell
Let the rose live forever and the sun
shines always endless times glistening gold

Cant lift my eyes beyond half past seven anymore
Nay! I do not wish to see...
Past hyphens and inverted commas
Lies and more catastrophe

Ambidextrous clock with appalling brevity
The second hand throws away society
Caught on the hook of an apostrophe
Hit and run humanity

With what shall I beseech thee?
Amix with soot and grime am I today
I painted me....! I mascara'd me!
Not this... warpaint for smudges
A discard of society

Sunk in dank mediocrity
Left to dream on the periphery
Sacked and sold with all their niceties
And pensioned off into obscurity

Cascading through the fingers of our hands
Groans the running Namib sands
Camel plods along ignoring facts
Dali's clock is molten wax - a mystery

For as Terrabytes and Megabitten memory
Omits to call- forgets to visit me

Would you waltz

Turning my back on typhoon skies,
a pestilent past, I pitch my mistakes
into a forgiving wind. Standing barefoot
at the edge of apologies,
coastal tides carry hope, tomorrows stir
on a mariner’s horizon. I search
seafaring eyes to discover God waving heartily,
welcome home…

Turning my back on a turbulent past,
silence falls in waves…faces, that once stared
with confusion share smiles. I had mistaken
their curiosity for condemnation…faltering,
teetering, capsized by my own insecurity, I see...
time changes perceptions – we can grow, rise.
I sing out greetings to this abundance;
a forgiving wind, God’s instrument,
blows through my soul.
I worship in full afternoon sun;
riding waves of mid-life,
I see you amid
rhythmic seas,
                    sultry sunsets,
sloping skies,
                    sandy relics,
distant mountain peaks,
               depths of ocean caverns;
when I hear a baby’s first cry or wise words
of the aged to loved-ones near...
I remember your mercy;
when I hear the break of waves over
my own waking shores and welcome
every birth of earth and sea…
I remember your mercy.

Turning my back on a past, shredded into wisps
of yesterday’s despair, I rest
in innocence, where I am,
where I was born…never looking back.
Breath of Life shares resonating beauty
and carries my darkest regrets
into Heaven’s forgiving winds;
I have prayed for this.

Your love blankets tranquil dreams in sleep
from night sky’s silvery arc of crescent moon.
Your love transforms my gifted day’s design
from beads of golden sun showers awaiting June.

Your love awakens my soul, a gust of penetrating warmth.
Your love beats with mine, and I am changed…forever changed.

After advice from Cyndi, Debbie and Frederic:

Turning my back on typhoon skies,
a pestilent past, I pitch my mistakes
into windy seas on a quest for forgiveness;
I plant bare feet at the edge
of apologies. Coastal tides
roil in hope, tomorrows smooth out
a mariner’s horizon. I float in seafaring
eyes to discover God waving heartily,
welcome home.

Turning my back on a turbulent past,
silence falls in waves…I mold clay faces;
they once stared with confusion, smiles
posed too long. I had mistaken curiosity
for condemnation. My body trembles.
I falter, teeter, capsized by my own insecurity;
Then, I blink and time changes
perception. I grasp sunshine till I beam.
A golden wave, I taste salt air
and greet abundant light;
a strong wind cleanses me.
God’s soulful instrument blows free.
I worship in full afternoon sun;
riding waves of mid-life,
I see you amid
rhythmic seas,
                    sultry sunsets,
a slope of sky,
                    sandy relics,
mountain peaks high,
               depths of ocean caverns;

when I hear a baby’s first cry or wise words
of the aged to loved-ones near,
I remember your mercy;

when I hear the break of waves over
my own waking shores and welcome
every birth of earth and sea,
I remember your mercy.

Turning my back, I shred gray paper
into confetti of yesterday’s despair; I rest
in innocence, where I am,
where I was born, I never look back.
My Creator’s breath shares resonating beauty
and carries my darkest regrets.
Heaven’s winds forgive;

Your love blankets dreams
in the silvered arc of moon,
your love redesigns my days untold
with summer sun showers, beads of gold.

Your love awakens my soul, winds
flood with warmth. Your love beats within,
and I am changed, forever changed.

Ocean Waves Like the waves of the ocean that come in so strong, that's the way you came into my life, with such force that in your arms, your kisses and your love I got lost. The force of the waves seperated us one day and we couldn't get back together again. I never knew the places you had been to, or what kind of lovers you had loved. Maybe You went to different places in a world I never knew. Maybe the lovers you had betryed you. I don't know, or could it be that you didn't understand them. I was not from your world and I couldn't understand you. I still watch the ocean waves , but not with you...

                                    ocean squall at dawn
                         brilliant rainbows burst through clouds
                                   nature's high drama

Wind whipped waves tumble over rocky shores
pounding the beach in a gathering storm.

A red flag flaps wildly in gusty winds
warning sailors to avoid perilous seas.

Crimson rays blaze across the horizon
in a grand burst of reflective splendor.
Seagulls draft high winds as raindrops come
drumming musical notes, a watery score
as stunning rainbows light the sky once more.

Oh now sad frog located on the sandy beach
Emotions raging around the body as an Icelandic volcano
burning holds in a vice grips deeply
Stranded in the cemetery of broken hearts
It is as if parts of the heart where torn out
shreaded from the body without an anesthesia
Deep arrow strikes in Golden Sunshine beams
Maybe he worries for no reason
Warm thoughts sail faraway yonder
An endless sandy beach, white as snow
washed with the blue ocean in brilliant yellow sunlight
Singing dreams kissing lips hold an oasis close
She drinks his kiss as if one could never get enough
In the hot summer sun burning heart yearns

It does not matter what it is
or where it leads them
as long as it creates an inner glow
Singing sizzles relighting loves croaking flames
Infatuation may be coming - but volatile
ignites when paper lips hold tears prisoner
Positively resonated does not appear out of the blue
Falling salt seasoned spice
Trail seeking light
This is a powerful and invigorating moment
Jumping angry to paradise
Shedding the green shirt of a Queen
She was cold, but the sun stroked her
soft and warm over the cheeks

The ocean reflected by azure skies
glistens in deeper salubrious shades
enchanting me in a mesmerizing gaze
as the waves heave high and low,
undulating currents courses
distilled into my blue eyes,
giving them a blue sea shade.

A windswept chill recalls many
cold blue lips of drowned bodies
on ships and vessels wrecked at sea.
Blue songs sung to mourn their loss.
Somber souls in sorrow coping,
hoping to lay their loved ones to rest.

Cobalt blue on stained glass windows
in the consecrated Christ’s cathedral
illuminates its mourners in shards of blue.
Officers in blue livery offer reverent respect
at gravesites with flowers in hues of blue.
As twilight’s victory overtakes the sun
shadows fall in somber shades of blue.

Sharp, rocky, dangerous promontories,
dark crashing violence maleficent
down below. Weathering belligerent
waves, sailors agonize increasingly,
eyes straining, constantly calculating.

Light streaming, searchingly intelligent-
the lighthouse, beautiful revelation-
comes into exhausted perspective.

An explosion
Of sensation
Sinking in
Swimming through my skin
Up my spine
Around my mind
Take me in
I am yours
Open doors
Pristine shores
Makes me soar
Lost years
fighting wars
Found my fears
Cried my tears
no longer whole
Lost control
Ate my soul
Wasting dryness
Too much slyness
your my highness
Overflowing
with your glowing motion
drowning in
your perfect ocean

didicated to p.d. my queen of everything

Between morning and night
the stars fall into the Pacific Ocean.

The everlasting sun lets the waves sound,
with the soft foam of light snow.

The sea sings songs of oblivion,
of submerged trees,
of luminous beaches,
of the love.

I am like the wind,
which touches the fresh and full morning.

The ocean knows many songs.

I do not want to leave behind wounded clouds in the morning,
not to cloud the memories.

The Pacific Ocean has the color of Azulejos,
the blue tiles of an old Portuguese house.

The waves carry my dreams,
unforgotten, of the past.

Sea gulls will bring me the future,
with a fresh, and quiet voice.

In silent nights the music of the sea resounds,
then stars arise to shine anew.

Solitary on my raft
Drifting peacefully away from the anguish towards sanctuary

The land becomes distant and harder to see.
Hurt subsides gradually and security softens my body
as the expanse of the ocean beckons me towards freedom

Languidly floating. Barely noticing.
Daydreaming of a burdenless future.
Harbingers unnoticed

Winds pick up
A swell begins
Almost imperceptible at first
Rocking, sickening

Intensity builds
More ominous, threatening
Thrashing, disorienting

Caught in the curl
Lungs constrict
I cannot breathe or call for help

There is no help anyway

Flailing wildly, finally grasping a piece of my shattered vessel
Bobbing to the surface, I can gasp for air

But start to drown in my own soul instead as the pain returns

My limp form is tossed by the final crash of the wave
It draws away
I land on the beach where I started
Abandoned and spent on the sand

I pick myself up and search for wood to build another raft.

Turquoise Sea, Coconut Trees And Turtles

Pristine see through waters
Turtles slide by
Rock to and fro as they go
They are my watch
In paradise with cracked coconuts

When the storm is over you
And you feel the ocean waves
Crashing and pushing you around
Let me be your lighthouse

When you feel your strength waning
And you can’t swim anymore
If the waves won’t let you float
Let me be your lighthouse

If you feel the rocks below
Cutting and hurting your tired body
And you think of letting go
Let me be your lighthouse

If the pain becomes too much
And the storm inside makes you sink
If you have no more hope
Let me be your lighthouse

Let me lend you my strength
For my light will show the way
To calm and peaceful oceans
Where you can rest and refrain

From sinking in the dark abyss
For my light will keep you afloat
It will keep the dangers at bay
Until you can reach the shore

Let me lend you my strength
Let me be your support rock
Until you can conquer the pain
Until you can defeat the storm

Then the strength you have inside
Will shine white and bright
Your light will join mine
And there will be two lighthouses

Love forever eludes me perhaps because it flies on angelic wings
And yet my earth bound body is beneath the weight of gravity
Its like following a rainbow to an end I'll never see
Or like chasing the horizon as it falls away from me
Will I ever find that pot of gold and embrace a warm sunset
With my heart on sandy shores beneath a sky I won't forget
To become envious of the moon as it illuminates her face
Gently dancing across her skin as it adorns with utter grace
Then inhale the scent of beauty as her lips press next to mine
As I watch the midnight sky reflect inside her radiant eyes
                and in her starry shade
              Of dim and solitary loveliness
I learn’d the language of another world
That I found deeply within one kiss
