Spring Fever

’Tis Spring (this is the real title, which I am unable to post this way in the title heading) Rejuvenate! ’Tis spring. Cruel winter’s lost its cling. We wake across this earth To welcome its rebirth. Give praise and with a joyful voice sing. ’Tis time of spring. Rejoice! Reverence with glad noise. In flowered meadows meet To dance with merry feet. Bring lutes, flutes, drums and resonant voice. Reflect. Again. . . ’tis spring. Robin’s on the wing. Lean upon a fruited tree. Hear the drone of honeybee. Breathe the bloom of lovely lilac sprig. ’Tis time. Reconcile. Greet each creature with a smile. As Christ for us bled tears To banish our worst fears, See everyone as God’s dear child. ’Tis season to re-grow. Heed nature’s lead below. Each gift you have to nourish Must be shared to flourish. Replenish bounties God did you bestow. For the Love of Nature Poetry Contest of Carlton D Kennedy

Standing out in a field alone, a little white flower named Daisy longed for someone to share her world.
One day a blue flower named Bachelor Button entered her world they became friends.
She knew by his name that he was not the propagating kind, but that didn’t stop their relationship she called him BB short for best bud.
The seasons of Spring & Summer they enjoyed the sun, laughed in the rain and held on fast in the Fall.
Winter came it was long and hard they were both covered in a blanket of snow, not knowing whether they would ever see each other again or even survive .The snow fell then came the ice, this went on for months.

The Sun shone brightly the first day of spring. A few days later warmth of the sun melted the snow, Daisy popped up .
I’ve been waiting days for you to come out, said BB, they both chanted hooray!
The snow was completely gone in a few days, the birds started building their nests , bugs were crawling around ,butterflies began to visit the two flowers. I wish there were more of us Daisy said, to BB.

They laughed as the sun and wind blew through their leaves. Then it started the sun and rain took turns until one morning the air & field was filled with the smell of flowers.
Daisy and BB looked at each other and asked what kind of flowers are these ? they’re not white like daisies they’re not blue like bachelor buttons. They did not know the birds and bugs carried the seeds from the two of them and the caterpillars buried them under the soil.
The seeds from the new flowers were then carried by the winds many miles away, they landed in fertilized gardens and flourished, although they faced danger everyday.
as they were called WEEDS ..
The Gardener pulls weeds out of the garden so they don’t choke the flowers, which cost a lot of money and require lots of maintenance.

However there was a Gardener who saw her friends spending hours weeding their garden , that they didn’t have enough time to admire and enjoy the labors of their love
So she set out to give a home to all the weeds ,she provided a place where they could fit in and multiply, they required no maintenance, rain provides their water .

The best part of all is their beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Ask my granddaughter-- What are those flowers in the garden ?
She will answer "WILDFLOWERS " their parents were Daisy and BB

Chairs lined with stripes,
green and white,
became ski jump ramps
for feelings, innocent and pure,
taking off from the edge
hoping to defy the gravity of fears.

Only a lucky few made it,
others turned into tears
landing on the grass of Green Park
as the warm air was getting dark.

Night Breeze

The quiet breeze is gently blowing this spring night.
Wonderful twilight, dancing colors,
Trees bloom, unfolding the fresh born leaves,
Spreading it's spring time umbrella.

The air is delectably highlighted with grills meats galore,
smokey fire pits of mesquite, hickory and maple burn.
All these sensory projections twine together
into the spring solstice of final release,
The night's day's end.

Honeysuckle is hinted in the air with each inhalation of life's breath.
Laying back on the edge of the seated chair, arched back to see the sky,
tickling my face with the spring Breeze.

My Wishes are Simple

My Wishes are Simple

My wishes are simple,
my desires few,

to gaze upon an ocean,
and marvel at a solitary drop of dew.

My wishes are simple,
my dreams not too grand,

to feel the waves teasing my tired feet,
with no footprints left in the cool, wet sand.

My wishes are simple,
my thoughts serenely gentle, calm,

my heart resting beneath a swaying palm,

healing my being, caressed by nature's soothing balm.

Love was as hot as a red moon.
Passion was on fire and was soothed.

A total lunar eclipse occurred on April 15.
The moon was coopery red.

The warmth of her blood was astrologically aligned.
Mother Earth was with her Sun God.

She stood majestically in his eyes.
The core of his being was a deep arousal of desire.

Let us whisper you and I
In a dark little corner and no candle light.

W'll wait until dawn and watch the sunrise.
Then catch a gentle breeze or watch a fading star.

We pick some flowers and catch a butterfly

We cross a small stream, sparkling water
catches the corner of your eyes.

We make a sailing boat from paper then
write a little song.

Soon will be breakfast, then at dinner w'll say a prayer,
And at night time w'll light a fire, and then we retire.

As I rise this day

As I rise this day,

thoughts of you go through my mind.

I thank you for another day,

I pray I can do things your way.

The winter is in full bloom Lord,

the chill in the air today is cutting

through the trees,

The branches are crisp and the sky is cloudy,

I pray the day is warmed by your touch,

Lord,I love you so much.

The day is beginning now,

help me to live a life today

that glorifys thy name.

A Silent Wave

A silent wave rushing inside my heart

Your hand leading me so far we won't depart

Your voice I heard in away that's taking me far

Into a silent wave rushing inside my heart.

Oh the thrill it was to hear

your voice so silent as I opened up to you

so wonderful this silent wave rushing inside my heart

I was searching for a answer to a question for so long

there it was a silent wave rushing inside my heart

Your voice Lord, in ways I never found

a silent whisper so very loud

inside my heart the silent wave replied

to me your love is so divine..

So when the shattered dreams are filling your mind

please please listen to the silent wave rushing inside your heart.

spring begining's

Spring time is near when the dawning of sun light beacons upon the horizon and the butterflies roam throughout the sky,
among sun shine rays piercing through tender vibrant flowers
as their journey to blossom began's,
When the days linger into nights transforming the skies into shimmering stars of light, illuminating the golden specks of sand as sprinkling ocean waves crash against its grain,
while ripples of white water recede back into the depths of the sea,
Transcending reflections of the magnificent lights shimmering from the crisp stary sky
 AS springs just upon us.

Dakota Skies Part 2

Earlier than usual, for the pigs have broken free from their pen,
We are allowed to quit the milking because someone must get them.
The excitement of getting to be with her sets us to a run
But when we discover the pigs, we know that it is done.
From the woodpile we gather two-by-fours with which we lay into
The backs of the wild beasts because it is all we can think to do.
They had formed a circle around her, pushing and pulling her pain
Her hind legs were strings of blood and bone, little did remain.
With curses of Christian children we hurled into the wind
We chased the beasts away from her, beating them for their sin.
Though her cries had quieted to whispers, she was crying still
And this time we cried with her, for we knew the what will.
Mother, we asked for the gun, but father was not home.
Mother, we asked for the knife, but the good knives would not be won.
My brother made me wait inside so I ran to the kitchen window
And perched myself on the sink, pulling the curtain low.
He sat with her head curled in his lap in the shade of the old tree,
Crying into the warmth of her neck and then to set her free
His small arms around her neck and his unanswered cries
Echoing across the plains and through the cold Dakota skies.

Clear Waters

The waters clear as I stand by the river

I see the reflection of someone long ago

As the storms come in I know I can't let you go.

Rain pours at times in this life you've given

But the shadows fade when my prayers have risen

Your love for me I've never new until now

When I see the waters clear, my reflection seems so near.

As time goes on I know you are near

Just seeing the way you help me stand

Just seeing the way you remove the fear

It helps my weakness seem so clear

That without you I am small

But as I take your hand, the walls get knocked down

The waters clear, the reflection I see now,

is you in me, this my Lord helps to make me free.

A Spring Love Affair

A flower...it grew.
A seed embedded beneath the soil.
Daisy,roses,violets are blue,
Lily of the valley, spring has renewed.

Faintly birds chirp before my eyes have awaken,
roosters crow, while grandsons are raking,
Cows are milked, playgrounds are built,
Swing into spring, flowers are racing.

Who will be the first to announce it's presence
Pollen drops from above seasonal changes progressing.

Lust is everywhere,
while love is in the air.
dress basically bare,
floor covered underwear.

One night stands
True love romance
kiss between lips
loves tangled dance

Fading night

As I sat on my porch

I gaze up in the sky

I see the calmness way up high

No breeze, and the sun is setting

I think of you and the smell of the pines.

I see the tall tree's so big in the night

I hear the chirps of birds so low

Night has come to all things outside

the end of morning leads to a new day

the shadows of winds so lightly they flow

seeing the branches just take it slow

squirrels scamper to hide in their beds

bugs start to roam as night takes hold

now I will sleep and dream of a land

where we can hold each other

so safe by the sand.

Spring Day

with squinted eyes and pursed red lips
like any little child in time
but that you are mine
ask me..why are we sitting outside
I want to go Inside
to play
your mind cannot yet grasp
the answer I know to be true
that one day a hundred years from now
when we have turned to dust
when you look at his light to Thank Him for your journey
you will pull this memory
out of your heart
like a diamond
glistening in the sun
and say ah..look how exquisite
look how exquisite

Kiss The Rain

Droplets of rain
fall on Earth,
making everything
to come to Life
before my eyes!

Trees sway from left
to right with joy!

The ground smells
of fertility once more!

The air smells of rejuvenation
around me like before!

Rivers gain strength
and eagerly flow downwards
to become waterfalls!

Opening my mouth wide,
I taste blessings in the form
of pure droplets of water!

Once more Mother Earth
kisses the rain!

You and the spring breeze

I feel the warmth, of a pre summer -spring breeze
gently, caressingly, ohhh it's so nice.
My hair, a tingly feeling throught my spine.
      You and the spring breeze.
I reminisce of a Happy time!
Of ice cream cones, a dripping,
  Sunlite beaches,
    with a babe, a playing.
That traffic noise, is so distracting.
But, at a stop, engines humming.
There is an unknown energy, in the air
Summer is coming!
Spring is Here!

Born a may child
Enjoying the summer tender mild
Maybe there is a reason
For the month that I
Came into this world
Something inside my head shone and furiously whirled
May you hold in your heart faith
May you have years of hope
May you find the strength to carry on and cope
May you grow ever more
May your life present you with
So many unique portal doors
May you learn by your mistakes
May you give instead of just blindly take
May your heart find it's meaning
May you discover natures cleaner
May you heal yourself as time goes by
May you one day, learn to hold up your weighted head
And learn how to fly
May you cry, for the good times and bad
May you wish for the things you never had
And become a greater being
For all the things do didn't receive
May you learn to hold a card up your tangled sleeve
May you find the courage to up and leave
May your life give you what you need
In the presence of all things natural and nothing of greed
May you live and learn and to the heavens your heart will yern
May you find the comfort of strong arms
May you feel the breeze when your heart is running wild
May you hold the world One day in the center of your closed up palms
Maybe there is a reason that I came to be
During the month of may
Enjoy the summer tender mild.

Song of Spring

Breath of Spring fill my lungs
Light of Earth fill the sky
Joyous Song fill my tongue
Wondrous Beauty fill my eye

Sound of Spirit fill my ears
Peace of Mind fill the land
Happiness only fill my tears
Nature’s Riches fill every hand

Beautiful Day fill my mind
Nature’s Aroma fill the earth
Beautiful Memories fill my time
Power of Spirit fill our worth

Sweet Renewal fill this season
Unified Harmony fill mankind
Let Wisdom fill our every reason
Until Love fills us all inside

Spring on a Trolley Car

Like the Sun
a trolley car
Is bound to the tracks

Like the Sun
A trolley car
follows an elliptical path

Like sunflowers
People need the Sun
For life

The Sun journeys on the dark side of things
And the people have no choice but to follow

But I do not follow exactly
I am like a satellite
I am the Moon
And follow my own path
But also the Sun

When the Sun
Enters the underbelly of the Earth

I as the Moon
Follows too
But on my own path

I as the Moon
Break through the dark side
And through a separate portal
That the Sun does not follow

I as the Moon
Can see the Sun
In the distance
on the right hand of ascension

But we journey
Together as One through the dark side
The Sun in alignment with the Moon
The Moon in alignment with the Sun

But we journey
Together as One through the dark side
Of the Universal Galactic Elliptic Plan

But we journey
Together as One
Like a trolley car in a deep tunnel
With passengers from multicolored aspects
On our destination to a beautiful morning Spring horizon

Flowers bloom bright and colorful
They rule
Spring brings flowers and rain
It takes away winter pain
Life starts a new
Flowers of red,white and blue
Spring is a wonderful time of year
So lets give spring a cheer

Lilies come in many colors you see
White like snow yellow like a bee
Rose comes in many colors too
They come in red pink yellow and blue
Daisies are yellow black and green
Flowers are meant to be smelled and seen
