~The Narwhal Beckons Before Dawn~

If I could sing a song,
It wouldn't be just any song.
I would sing a song about a fish
A fish who is not a fish, but a whale
Not just any whale, A Narwhal

This night I'll sing a short song of a whale
Dancing under the moonlight dusk
Swimming with ivory tusk, underwater musk
Rising to the morning glory in the sky
Communicating with the waves
Squealing around,
Trilling and clicking supersonic sounds

If I could tell you a tale
It wouldn't be just any tale
I would tell you a tale of a fish
A fish who is not a fish, but a whale
Not just any whale, A Narwhal

Grayish brown,
White freckled belly crown
Elusive and mysterious
Without the Arctic water, I'll get delirious
A rare whale, with a tooth for a hoot
Enjoying shrimp, squid, and fish food
Taking care of the young,
I swim in pods all day long
I' stay away from what consumes my cod
Polar bears, orca whales and native spear
My greatest fear and nightmares.

If I could share some words
It wouldn't be just any words.
I would share some words about a fish
A fish who is not a fish, but a whale
Not just any whale, A Narwhal

Deep, down the ocean odyssey
My beliefs and skin peel easily
With a tear, I drown
When called "The Underwater Unicorn"
My words are naught more than a sad song I sing
A tale of a whale not just any whale, A Narwhal
The next time you go out to sea
Looking for blubber and ivory
Please don't look at me!
For I am just a Narwhal
And, I belong to the sea

When I’ve had dark times in my life, and need uplifting at times of strife I listen to the words of this lovely song and get comfort and aim to be strong The path of life is winding not straight Many troubles can be put down to fate We need friends till our dying day Who’ll be with us come what may We all need good friends by our side to dry sad tears, too many I’ve cried They’ll be there any time that we need Special friends to be cherished indeed! Radha’s Song- A folk Song of India 2/2

Prelude

This folk song is based on the childhood incidents
of naughty 8-10 years old Krishna, who use to
please everyone of Gukul village, Gokul is the
place where the divine Krishna was brought up
by his foster mother Yashoda.

O, Please tell me, what should I do,
Speak a word, to extinguish my worries,
I cannot live, without seeing,
The alluring face of our naughty Krishna.

O, please tell my friend, how should I manage it,
What plea and excuse dear, I can tell in my home,
How to go back to home, without Gagariya and Chunri,
Even without water, which would create only difficulties for me.

Stunned and mesmerized, by the magic of our Krishna,
I stand here only, in a state of being sweetly robbed,
Instead of searching my Chunri and Gagariya, O Sakhi,
I am trying to touch his alluring image only, in the water.

Clarifications:
*Radha. Radha was the childhood friend and was one of the most beloved Gopi of Lord
Krishna. She was the beauty, power and aura create the ethics of love. None of the
scriptures consists of the power to verbalize her beauty, for it is clear enough that when
beauty of Sri Krishna makes several hearts leave their boundaries, her beauty is so
mesmerizing that it makes Him loose consciousness.
*Krishna. Krishna is often depicted as an infant or young boy playing a flute as in the
Bhagavata Purana or as a youthful prince giving direction and guidance as in the Bhagavad
Gita. The stories of Krishna appear across a broad spectrum of Hindu philosophical and
theological traditions.] They portray him in various perspectives: a god-child, a model
lover, a divine hero and the Supreme Being.
*Gagariya. The earthen pot used still in Indian villages to collect water from river, pond
or wells.
* Chunariya. A long strip of cloth to cover the beauty of a woman. It normally hangs on
the bosom to cover them.
Punghat. Is the word used for a place from where water can be collected by village women
of India.
*Sakhi. Hindi word means female friend

Your glorious emerald eyes
Glisten in the moonlight
Glisten in the moonlight
Delight dances in the water
I watch it joyfully
You are set free from the cage...
You're like a dove soaring in the sky
You are the rain...
drizzling down in ecstasy
A hint of ecstasy is shown in your reflection...
When you caress me... I'm relieved...
From the stress that forced me in chains
I knew we'd be on the brighter side of tomorrow
We're glistening in the moonlight
I knew we'd become candles in the heavens above us
We're glistening in the moonlight
For a moment, I felt your presence...your radiant with sympathy
I saw at first glance the dark side of you
Tonight, we'll be together and fly through the horizon
We'll watch the sunset say its last goodbye...
We'll wave a greeting at the moon!
We glisten in the moonlight...
What if I was as handsome as the lion...
Roaring with pride and pure courage
What if we were glistening in the moonlight?
Would it bring health to our bones tonight?
Would it make our heart rejoice and overflow with delight?
Would we be able to survive this horrifying plight?
Would we be shimmering like a candlelight?
We're glistening in the moonlight... (6)
Ohh...yeah...ooh yeah...ooh yeahh...
We reach to the stars and hope we can trace a shooting star
I feel the coolness run down my fingers...
We're glistening in the moonlight
You're the dandelions in the fields
You're the gorgeous view that I marvel at everyday
When you kiss me, I live my dreams
We glisten in the moonlight
In a quick moment, I sense a feeling of endless renewal
I roam inside of your illuminating maze
Glow on... sunshine...
Glow on...sunshine...
Glisten in the moonlight...
Listen to the truth and rub it in
You are ravishing like the sunset
But you're ascending while I'm descending
I feel extremely guilty
I wish I could glisten with you in the moonlight
You're glistening in the moonlight (6)
Ohhh yeahh... oohhh yeahh... ohh yeahh
You're glistening in the moonlight (4)
We go our own way
I wish we can glisten like the moon
Glisten like the sun
There's a dream concealed inside of me...
Reveal your light and pour it upon me
You glisten in the appealing moonlight
While I'm subsiding... you're fulfilling your dreams
Of gliding across the horizon
You're independence... keeps on scorching with satisfaction
While I'm below you...
Your emerald green eyes
Stared me down like a hawk...
Your emerald eyes
Gaze down at me genuinely...
I wish we could flee together in reality...
That could be a possibility
To glisten in the moonlight in glee
We were glistening in the moonlight (3)
But that was only a dream...
I'll pray that it turns into a reality
We were glistening in the moonlight
Now, I've misplaced my delight...
Will I ever experience such a brilliant night?

Let's wait for the sunset one summer's day
down by the river where I always liked to play
we can kick off our shoes and bury our feet in the sand
come on please be my sweet river man
We can call the wild geese up with a little dab of feed
or jump in the water a little too deep
in that old Red River we can laugh and sing
take me by the hand, make that leap

Write our names in a heart in the sand
you can be my sweet river man
and I'll be your sweet lady river friend
we can hold on for life and scare the catfish twice
anything’s possible that time of day
my white sundress is a little bit dirty
from that red water that always stays so murky

I wouldn't want to be any other place
than down by the river where I always liked to play
and when the moon comes out tonight
and the stars shine bright
your sweet river lady
is going to sing to her sweet river man under the moonlight

watch those stars shooting in the dark as you hold me tight
until we see the sun start to rise
yeah down on the river where I always liked to play
nothing’s changed much since I was just a babe
but now I share with my sweet river man, my favorite place to play

Motor is nudged to life in an arcing motion, arm pulling
cord. Vein-furrowed hands grasp the fishing pole,
slinging bait and tackle beneath one arm. Another
arcing motion, arm casting pole. Bobber spins
a helicopter course through sun-nipped air.
Loons call a soulful greeting, the moans of centuries'
separated lovers in mourning. Time trickles through
the notes of their songs. Meanwhile, bass glide
with their loud-mouthed sass,
perch and blue gills play tag. A lone

blue heron bills the murky depths for lunch.
Man baits his hook, readjusts his hat. Eyes squint
into the dark undertones of the pond. He casts
his pole, a fermata in the song of the loons. When this man
was a boy, he drove the spires of the Rocky Mountains,
frequented the five-and-dime, nuzzled
a nightly routine next to his wife, who mothered six children, raised
in a house far away from any pond. They bustled themselves
along through school as well as any fish pouncing on
supper-flies, dabbing napkins to the corners
of their mouths. This fisherman sliced their steak, knotted their ties,
held their hands crossing the street
until they were old enough to
mail college resumes,
pay for first dates.

Five years,
fifteen years,
thirty-two years and here is Granddad,
with his child's toddler learning to walk in the bowed
belly of his fishing boat. They stumble,
clanging clumsy feet on the metal, frightening
the fish away. The old man bends low,
a note in the song of the loons.
He places the toddler on two feet, guides her hesitant steps,
each pendulum swing carrying them a moment
further toward separation. In twelve years, the grown child
bends low, a note in the song of the loons, to kiss her
grandfather's forehead, as he casts off on his helicopter
course of afterlife.

Drowning in the pool of anguish…oh…oh…
I’m venturing into the forest…and I want to hear the words seep out
Release these aching sorrows…I worry my soul’s drying out…
like a drought…
Drain out the fluids from my heart
It’s gouging me…bruising me to the core…

**chorus**
Embrace the light…embrace the midnight sky…
You fall in my arms – you die so warm
Shed me more sun to lift up my spirits
From the…underground…and release me – I’m breathless
I’m drowning in doubt…ooh… oh…

Remember me…I’m falling…into my swirling fate…hanging on the roots
Strangling my heart…distorting in my veins… I’m bleeding so softly – cut out the wood…
Splintering me…I’m shattering… and I’m falling in the abyss
Bring me more radiance from my candle light
Warp me up in bliss…don’t let the midnight sky…don’t take away my delight
From the…ocean…and save me—save me…oh… oh… I’m failing

*chorus*

I’m drowning in regret…ooh..oh…
Hit the bull’s eye in my heart…embrace the light
And don’t leave me hanging in the abyss…hand me a kite!
Save me before I fall apart…shut out the night
And don’t let the dusk escape us…

I must confess…
I must confess…
I hate to see you abandon the light…
But I’m not the one to save you from the night
Ooh…ohh…

*Chorus*

Splintering lies fill your heart
I want to kiss it goodbye…
But you’ve mastered it like a piece of art
I want to kiss the abyss and die…
Dry… I wanna touch the sky with my whole soul
But I’m failing and the end of time has taken its toll
Tainted sorrow…swims around me…I dwell where the waters depart
But the anguish still swarms in my heart…
I’m failing…my heart stops beating
And my desires are fleeting
From my grasp
And the monsters laugh at me…as I fall…

*chorus*

Embrace the midnight sky…catch me…catch me…
As I fall in death’s arms…I die so cold
And your heart is made of gold

Untangle the darkness & take away the nightmares
Answer our prayers & block out the night
Erase the heartaches & wipe away our tears
Unravel Your words of life & delight

A short poetry of Parascending by Mrs.Madhavi.Suyog.Pagare

                                                Aviated parachute

Parachute parachute you flying so high.
Like an eagle you swing in the sky.
 Flourishingly Waving in an air.
Your skill astonished me, Take me away !

A play of lustrous rainbow colour.
 Cascaded by a Blushing rain.
 Sensing the rhythm, flower‘s crimsoned.
Making me feel excited, Take me away !

Inspiring me as you without wings swiftly aviate.
Fortunately you have a flying glance at this amazed beauty of the earth.
Give me one chance some another day.
Move me away, Take me away !

People will greet me, when myself Joe will be lime lighting in the sky.
Viewing the artistic magnifying creativity, beautified by arduous earthborn
 mortalizing persona‘s.
my itchy feet, move me away, Take me away !

screaking high, conveying regards to almighty and pray for celestial peace.
Ohhh my spice jet please take me high.
For the god‘s sake make me fly.
Take me away or else I will die !

I woke up Saturday joyful at my body's triumph
over virus, breathing again without pain and enjoying
winter and the cold that keeps us sane and sober.
But by Sunday my mortality had returned.

If I pass away now, how to assess my days.
Is balancing income and expenditure reports enough?
Our marriage and our piece of land. Dependent
on economy. For food delivery and machine repair.

In my youth, I imagined crossing mountains
to the sea, living off the land. Enduring weather patiently.
It's impossible except three days or three weeks,
with a load of supermarket food on your back.

So I accept home gratefully. And a niche in society.
We could explore these hollows and hills on foot
but my wife is weak and I am lazy. We use the library
to travel inner space. We found this place.

Next spring, a garden. Dig depleted soil behind
garage and fertilize it from our compost pile.
Learn the names and ways of cultivars, their relations
to wild plants and the edge. Finally know the fern and sedge.

Lazy one, life is short. You have never fought, to yourself
you remain unknown. You go the way of an unknown
soldier. Unable to assess the purpose of the battle.
Nameless, hungry, same as the neighbor's cow.

Be happy, slap happy. Within your generation, surrounded
by history. Seeking mastery through practice.
Rewarded with the sunrise, sunset. Yet to have delivered
on the promise expected by the parents of the baby.

This folk song is based on the childhood incidents of 8-10 years old Krishna, who use to
please everyone of Gukul village by his loving playfulness. Gokul is the place where the
divine Krishna was brought up by his foster mother Yashoda about 5000 years back.

Radha’s Song- A folk Song of India 1/2

When the golden rays of Sun peeped,
From behind the hanging dark clouds,
My mind bloomed touching the rays,
As flowers bloom seeing the Sunshine,

O my friend, I came to Punghat*,
To collect water from the river,
And was about to dip and fill it,
In my empty earthen, Gagariya*,

Suddenly Krishna,* appeared there,
From where, I do not know, Sakhi*,
My Gagariaya*, slipped from my hand,
Even my Chunariaya* also drifted away,

Now, how to go home tell me, my friend,
Without, the water pot and water,
From where, I can get my Chunariaya*,
To cover myself, before I reach home.

Such is the magic of Krishna & his flute,
They enchants our mind & heart, Sakhi,
O, even I hear, the melodies of his flute,
When he is nowhere, around me, O Sakhi,

You also feel, as I feel, for our dear Krishna,
Suffering as I suffer, still smiling in our hearts my friend,
Does the melodies, of his ever enchanting flute,
Lives in your mind and heart, like me, O, Sakhi.

PRELUDE

The song expresses the feelings of an Indian village girl. Her parents have fixed her
marriage (It generally happens in the rural areas of India, even to-day). She is about to
leave for the first time for her in-law’s place. She do not want to go to her father in
law’s place leaving her parents, her soul mates friends the animals and birds. The song
sketches the tender feelings of her heart for her Mother, Father and Brother & for the
animals and birds, whom she used to look after until now as her most precious friends and
who taught her how to sing a sweet song.

Song of a Teenage Girl 1/2

Why you are sending me to an alien place, the place of my in laws, O Mother dear and Father,

I played and enjoyed my child hood and youth, in your courtyard O dear Mother & Father,

You always kept me on your eyelids like a pearl of tears,

O Mother, you always kept me close to your bosom, like the beatings of heart, where I laughed and bloomed.

O Father, after quarrelling with my brother, I used to weep for hours,

Whenever you call my name, I used to be so proud of you, O my dear Father.

O Father, by seeing a smile on your face, we used to bloom like a flower.

Then, why you are sending me to an alien place* O My Mother and Father *,

Please listen to me, O dear Father & Mother, if you have already decided to send me to my in-laws,

-Now you have to give food and water to the Parrots on the Tree.

-O, Mother you have to give now fodder and water to our Cow in our courtyard.

-And do not forget to give grains to our oxen Chun Mun, whom I look after in our fields.

-My melody singing Koyal* would be sitting and waiting for me on the Mango tree.

O Mother, it is Koyal, who taught me how to sing a sweet song,

Please do not forget to look after that lovely singing bird.

Listen to me, O My dear Father & Mother, if you have already decided to send me to my in laws,

All my birds, animals and my childhood friends would be waiting for me with tearful eyes, O Mother,

Please tell them your daughter has left this place forever and has gone,

To her in laws, a place so alien to her. .... concluded in part 2

If you are sad or are lonely
You will need a helping hand
Need friends to gather around you
A cry of help I will answer
Friend is what you will always be
I'm sailing through rough waters
Sailing to you fast as can be
Right now I can feel your sorrow
Behind you leave your problems now
Like they never had existed
A problem shared is halved
Bridge's are there to help you cope
Over time you will learn and grow
Troubled mind will then be at ease
Water flows washing them away
I will help carry your burden
Will support and ease your passage
Ease and peace will flow over you
Your time is now not tomorrow
Mind set free to flow like water

Into the water now I go to die
That I may live again
Live now O Christ for me, and no more I
Glory, I am born again

To your Holy Spirit I yield my life
Yield it again for me
By grace alone I win in all my strife
Thanks, O Lord you ransomed me

Under the water I take your image now
Day by day led by you
Your sweet covenant and law becomes my vow
Pray for me, Lord, keep me true.

By faith alone my flesh shall die in grace
O Christ, now cover me
Make me a witness in thy full embrace
Hosannah, you ransomed me.

I close my eyes in darkness
While the world lies down to sleep
As a father and a husband
My family’s mine to keep
Protect them? I am willing
I am always there on guard
But, when I’m not and far away
I trust You are, oh Lord

The rising sun of morning
Has my family’s eyes so wide
As the motor sounds of traffic
Fills the air that floats outside
And the people that are walking
Some are jogging, some just go
Makes me see, what truly is
And all I really need to know

God, You’re there… I see you

In the blue that reigns up in the sky
On the breath of clouds that float on by
The image of the homeless man
Who still offers up his time
As he asks not for, without doing first
So I give water to quench his thirst
To the flowers that grow in the park
And the trees that children climb

God, You’re there… I see you

While coming home at evening time
Knowing my family waits for me
I smile real wide as I walk along
So all the world can see
Maybe then they’ll see just what I see
And then take it on their way
With hopes that they will share a smile
And make better someone’s day

Now the sun has set, children tucked
With a kiss I gave to fall asleep
Standing at the door I see my wife
And I feel the love she gave to keep
I thank you Lord for all I have
For always seeing my family through
Because I know I couldn’t do this alone
That’s why I put my faith in You

God, You’re there… I see you

In the blue that reigns up in the sky
On the breath of clouds that float on by
The image of the homeless man
Who still offers up his time
As he asks not for, without doing first
So I give water to quench his thirst
To the flowers that grow in the park
And the trees that children climb

God, You’re there… I see you

It’s hard to take off, when you’re left grounded. Something lost I can’t find it.
I can’t see my way anymore, I need a guide

“Hard to see with water in your eyes”

A feeling that comes over you, it comes and goes
Often now putting me to my knees, a thirst for knowledge has grown.
Interpretations given to me, I want to fly but I’m stuck on the ground is what I realized.
I can’t see my way anymore, I need a guide

“Hard to see with water in your eyes”

You carry those you lost and offer you in their place, all you have are the memories a heart ache, a still picture of their face. Quest for knowledge you have shown, you can only save yourself when it’s time to kneel at the thrown. Interpretations given to me, still unable to fly I can’t see my way anymore, I need a guide

“Hard to see with water in your eyes”

Arms out reached in front of me, waiting for a touch back to assist and help guide me, I know your there even in the open air, as the breeze passes by pushing out the water in my eye.
Looking to the sky before it drips drops and it freezes. As u notice only your sign the one only you can see. If you found it it’s meant for you to continue to believe. Before you know it you’re looking up into the sky. You see clearly through a dry eye. No more needs God has heard you and now he will guide you.

Walking a set path try to live a life right. God will always give you your way of sight.
Keeping faith is all for just such a reason. It’s nice to see through all life’s seasons. But almost daily it gets blurry and things change size.

“Hard to see with water in your eyes”
                                                                                 By Paul J Williams Sr

Walking in water....

I don't even know
why you decide to do me this way,
Is it that you are weak
to avoid temptation?
you fooled me with your fake smile
told many lies to my face
I never gave you a reason to do me this way...

walking in water....
(of tears)
pouring down on me...
(for years)
listening to winds cry
when the dove birds die
walking in water
(of tears.....)
cry....

dropping one by one
when you tell a lie
they die...

walking in water....
(of tears)
pouring down on me...
(for years)
listening to winds cry
when the dove birds die
walking in water
(of tears.....)
cry...., oooh cry...., cry...

One thing about music
Is when it hits you you feel no pain
One thing about music
Is when it hits you you feel no pain
Hit me and wake me up
Surely blame will call your name

Only yesterday was easy
As crept on through the night
Only yesterday was easy
And tomorrow don't look too bright.
All we can say is "oh what shame
Things didn't work out right".

Nowadays it seems you feel with beliefs
And I'm left here alone with no sign of relief.

I want a lover, No I don't want to love her
Yeah, I don't want a lover, I just want to love her

If I knew I'd be here today
I'd wear my heart around my neck
Paid my loving debt with all my time spent
If I could see tomorrow I'd stay dreaming about tonight
And If I could walk on water I'd make everything right.

No I don't want a lover,I just want to love her
Yeah, I want a lover, I don't want to love her

I could change time with one simple line
I could make you think that you're living free
I could go leave, let you have your days
Say goodbye and make our separate ways.

But I want a lover, No I don't want to love her
Yeah, yeah I don't want a lover, I just want to love her
I want to be a lover, No I don't want to love her
No, no, don't want be lover, but I just got to love her.

If I could see tomorrow I'd be more than enough
'Cause all of these callouses have made so rough.
If I could see you once I'd stay there all night.
And if I could walk on water I'd make everything right.

Nowadays it seems I believe
Let it take me that loving relief.

Come inside, my secret garden,
where no one is brokenhearted.
The sound of trickling water springs
will soothe your heart until it sings.

The scent of honeysuckle blooms,
breathe in her sweet perfumes.
Bright flowers of multi-hues,
shine in the balmy morning dew.

Gold, amber and the deepest blue
will sweeten your faded dreams anew.
The birds singing their melodious song
will soon have you singing along.

I am not sure what else to say,
except you're welcome to stay.

Dragging, lagging down this road,
Many things I was never told,
Stumble, tumble to the ground,
Looked up and saw no one was around,
Scraped and bruised... on both knees,
Begging for this disease to seize,
One more breath before I break,
When suddenly I realize You died for my sake,

When I can’t seem to find the words to say,
To cancel out these feelings of dismay,
When all I’ve seen was equivalent to shame,
And tornados wipe right through the pain,
When water washes the frailty and dishonor,
And most thought I was just a goner,
Your whispers penetrate my night,
Speaking out “this is not your fight”
“ I died to fill your life with might”

Holes in souls are hard to bare,
Especially when your scars are there,
Hearts that plead to overflow,
Sometimes bleed and cannot let go,
But through the madness and through the times,
There is only one name that comes to my mind,
Nails that sacrificed for our greater good,
Can relate to my deaths even if He was misunderstood,

When I can’t seem to find the words to say,
To cancel out these feelings of dismay,
When all I’ve seen was equivalent to shame,
And tornados wipe right through the pain,
When water washes the frailty and dishonor,
And most thought I was just a goner,
Your whispers penetrate my night,
Speaking out “this is not your fight”
This is not your fight,
This is not your fight.

Stories dared not whispered, legend of great thinker.
Artificially created Atlantis, maze search for law-giver.

Hushed lips speak no evil, silly little monkey cliche.
Privy ancient knowledge, not clear as light and day.

So-called peace-loving demigods, closely followed in trace.
Sexually crazed fools, copying angels fallen from grace.

Pillars of Hercules within island, dynasty king frenzy awoke.
Powerful and remarkable, ready to enslave at single stroke.

Originally thought to be noble, conspicuous reveal greed.
In route to world domination, struck down by Specialbreed.

Later time earthquakes and floods, extraordinary violence.
Single dreadful day and night, massive lost of innocence.

Intervening super mighty one, so-called wrathful Zeus.
Manipulation of elements, water and lightning bolts let loose.

Grand golden wall palace, swept aside sea and sunk below.
Ironical measured payment, for employment of ruthless blow.

Swiming through labyrinth of wisdom, vie of the celest'.
Chancing risk of schism, mighty sequential vignette.

Perplexed pattern in hide, bloody seal of truth.
Illuminati repelled, for a time real minoot.

Message of twisted tongue, langual contrivance.
Masters' visions swoon, in journey through euphoric trance.

Loud whisper switch, silence left in wake.
Souls of denizens burned, in fiery scourching shake.

Prominent eclectic short order, alien wishbone act.
Convert of non-belief, fierce zealots' minds impact.

Lucid broken water reflection, visible-eye agleam.
Blind finding quarry, standing like obelisk beam.

Instinctive overriding, a slip into lucidity.
Telepathic mind connection, recede to infinity.

Exponential theory, base of schematics.
Common like maybe, superpower military tactics.

Voice of bleeding knowledge, fade to obscurity.
Mystic in strange land, fault found in masters of intricacy.

Undecipherable rhetoric, great monster on chase.
Featureless darkness, a threat to human race!

She’s alone under beach lights, she’s screaming at air
wishing someone would notice, could anyone hear,
feel the anguish, the loss, losing battle of one?
She’s at war with the world and she’s comming undone.
‘It’s all wrong,’ left her lips, ‘it’s alright,’ said the tides,
‘sometimes we all need a safe place to hide,
to wait inside shadows, return with new light
cause we change and we change till the patterns are right.’
‘But this pounding resounding inside of my head,
I fear is the only thing tangible left.
I can hear it and feel it consuming my head,
eats me up from the inside, lays nothing to rest.’
But the water just turned and it crashed upon rocks,
became angry, determined, climbed onto the dock,
said, ‘Listen to me, I am old and I am wise,
what reason have I to fill you with lies?
I’m a part of your body, a piece of your world,
have I not kept you living since you were a girl?’
But her feet kept on forward at a steady pace
“I’m sick and I'm tired, I'm leaving this place.
I can wait no longer for the turning of time.
I'm the only one left and I’ve been left behind.”
‘But they’re here! Someone’s coming! It won’t be long yet.”
but her mind was as certain as certain could get
and the rushing of water had drown out the sound
as the pounding inside became heavy and loud
and the water, though angry, then grew very still
whispered ‘There is nothing if nothing is fueling a will.
I cannot instill a desire to live, eventual peace is all I could give.’
So she sank and she sang all the air from her lungs,
she breathed in the waves awaited silence to come.
“As I have in you, you may now flow through me,”
and the tides changed again as they dragged her to sea.

High up in the mountains where the air is fresh and cool
A bubbling spring flows down into a deep awaiting pool
It’s here the waters start upon their journey clear and long
Thus begins the melody of a wondrous nature song

You can watch the pooling water start on its slow cascade
It moves into a flowing stream that melting snow has made
A little further down the way if you should take a look
The stream joins with the waters of a gently flowing brook

Here the stream and brook combine to graciously deliver
Gifts of pure clean water to a clearly flowing river
The waters of the river move serene and calm at first
Allowing many animals to come and quench their thirst

The water quickly picks up speed as on its way it goes
And you can hear it start to sing as o’er the rocks it flows
The water swiftly flows out to a tall and rocky ledge
Turning into a wondrous sight while tumbling o’er the edge

A beautiful misty rainbow's formed by its falling flight
To see the dancing water is a most impressive sight
You can hear its soft sweet music as it tumbles right along
Singing a lovely chorus of the waters falling song

Water makes its own music
Notes that often go unheard
Listen and you can here them
As lovely as the spoken word

Whispering a song of life
It flows in quiet streams
Bathing the earth with joy
The sounds you hear in dreams

Light as a new lover's voice
Or with fevered pitch it pounds
Rain falls with a varied score
Against the window pane it sounds

The ocean plays it own symphony
Movements boisterous and loud
With smooth and haunting moments
But always beautiful and proud

When you hear the sound of water
Makes no difference when or where
Open your heart to the music
It always has its song to share

James 3: 12 and Proverbs 15:1 have been paraphrased here in the following
poem. You are invited, dear reader, to kindly read those Bible verses before or
after reading this poem.

Teaching might be the noblest career;
But it has its dangers, in its rear.

Saint James warned us about this great trend,
That we might not fall before and bend

To worship some regretful mistake.
“How can the same source of water take

Pure sweet water and make it bitter? ”
In slanders every single letter

Causes the fire of hatred to grow;
But a kind answer frees and lets go!

For teaching is the noblest career;
But it has its danger, in its rear.
