As a peaceful wind pushed long and free
Simple love had arrived in perfect time
With a song of jubilation rolling pure through the valley
A seed of love took flight in summer winds free

Simple love had arrived in perfect time
As I lay naked upon ancient rocks of graceful light
A seed of love took flight in summer winds free
Gods grace in delicate strokes touched me

As I lay naked upon ancient rocks of graceful light
With a song of jubilation rolling pure through the valley
Gods grace in delicate strokes touched me
As a peaceful wind pushed long and free

Drifting in a memory
of rolling distant hills
stretched out like a waveless ocean of green
the sun blazing way up high
In the stillness of a languid sky

Wandering in the dusty thoughts
of dried up ponds and lanes
bordering hedgerows offering their wares
of treasure shyly peering
a meandering cache suddenly disappearing

Arising in the sweet scented bouquet
Colours of childhood dance
and sing into the breeze
Friuts of summer fall, flowing like a banquet
Take a drink from natures never ending Goblet

Lowly under the shade of the spreading oak
The meadowlark shares his sweet call
as perccusive swaying grasses unite
to fill the air with melody so mellisonant
Cordial thoughts of summers reminiscence

In the green fields of Summer
I opened my eyes,
And dreamed of a time
Where I’d climb to the skies,
And as I grew up
With a song in my heart,
I knew it was time
For my dream to depart.

So I opened my wings
And I started on up,
For my song was my wine
While the air was my cup,
And as I looked down
To the place I was born,
The green fields were bathed
In the light of the dawn.

Then I sang such a song
In the vale of the day,
While my spirit kept faith
In a strange sort of way,
As I kept rising up
In my Abbey of blue,
I knew it was right
And I knew it was true.

The world that had borne me
Was far, far below,
At the birth of my dream
In the morning’s soft glow,
 And my song was aflame
With the fire of the sun,
As I started back down
To where I had begun.

I passed through the clouds
And my feathers were kissed,
With the light Summer rain
And the softness of mist,
I remembered my birth
As I fell through the haze,
In those green glowing fields
And those soft Summer days.

Then all of a sudden
I reached earth again,
And I looked to the sky
As I sought to explain,
How the ups and the downs
Of a life in the air,
Help my heart understand
How my life is a prayer…

Upbeat
Happy
Bringing the memory of childhood summers
Bouncing

Sweet
Endearing
Soft voice of an angel leading me away
Dancing

Open
Close
Eyes flickering slowly with peace
Contempt

High
Joy
Away into the clouds into love and happiness
Exploding

Brilliance
Colors
Blossoming designs flowering in the sky
Amazing

Summer Time
and in the spring
the children sprout
growing up until they old
reminiscing on the past
(Summer Time)...
 So innocent and young
growing old and wise
telling true stories
to the children eyes
some young become old fools
just make sure its not you
Summer Time
and in the spring
the children sprout
growing up until they old
reminiscing on the past

My Video Song " SUMMER DAYS ARE COMING' can be heard on my Music Channel URL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cafa5Sc6dPo The Song has received Semi Finalist Award declared on 5th Sept. 2013. Although it's lyrics has missed the Ist prize by only very few steps but the Award can be seen on http://songwriting.songoftheyear.com/ravindrakapoor.html Summer days are coming To take you in my arms In summer nights, we shall be Singing our love songs. When the Moonlight would rise The sleeping waves of Sea And your sweet arms would be Encircling me close to thee. Summer days are coming To take you in my arms In Summer nights, we shall be Singing our love songs. I know why you watch The Sea waves rising to kiss When the Moon began to pour Its love drops on the Sea. Watching the joy of Sea waves You always come in mood And then like the rainy clouds You shower your love on me. Summer days are coming To take you in my arms In summer nights, we shall be Singing our love songs. O’ Darling I am waiting For the Summer days to come As in summer days you shower Your rain like love on me. Summer days are coming To take you in my arms In summer nights, we would be Singing our love songs. THE YOGI BERRA SONG
IT AIN'T OVER 'TIL IT'S OVER
One run behind and I'm at bat, 2 are out,
I'll be damned if I don't get a hit.
I tell the catcher I'll be home in a while,
But he grins at me just for a bit.
Holding on first, I can still feel the ball,
But it's wild and I'm safe at first base.
That's where I stay, cause I can still hear it all,
What that chatcher told me right in my face.

It ain't over til it's over.

I tell the umpire to watch out for the man
who's at bat, cause he'll make his own way.
I'm stealing second, though it's not a good plan
cause that catcher hardly misses a play.
I feel the ball and it's faster than me,
But the second baseman's foot is too late.
There comes the call, and I'm as safe as can be,
But on second base, I know I must wait.

It ain't over. It ain't over til it's over.

I hear the hit and it's a good one I know,
it's the winning run, if I go on
Passing by third I'll tie the game if I go
on to home, or the whole game is gone.
I feel the magic, it's the reason I play
and I love coming out from behind!
Home plate is hardly just a leg length away,
But his words keep on nagging my mind!

It ain't over. It ain't over til it's over!
It ain't over. It ain't over til it's over!
You're out!
Kill the umpire!
It ain't over. It ain't over til it's over!
It ain't over. It ain't over til it's over!
You're out!
It ain't over. It ain't over til it's over!
You're out!

Wet nights, warm days are what we want in the summer noosphere.
Man's mind one with weather.
If this is true, life is good, or will be good.
Can I be encouraged that my sons will find mystery on the planet
as I did?

How sweet the slow spring! May already and the canopy not out yet.
Woods quiet all winter.
Now I can't distinguish the many bird songs from where I sit.
Red maple flowers and first sugar maple leaves are, to me, the Christ
      child
that's been coming.

The ancient poems and the new make the 1/10 inch of annual topsoil
from carbon dioxide loading.
As a humanist I want everyone pursuing happiness; as a naturalist
I sometimes pray for man's destruction. As a rationalist I admit
I lack data.

O to play slow and sure, even when the tune is fast. Inside an aquifer
of love for the audience.
Not to fear or even necessarily obey the changing wind's
direction. Being here I breathe and make the atmosphere as seen
from outer space.

The song of the world will often take you far from yourself. There
will be no self. How will you know yourself?
By knowing thyme and dandelion, the blue jay from the hawk,
the heron in its swamp, black cherries and the one pear at the junction
      of the trails.
They are yourself.

~ Summer Song ~ ( Haiku Suite ) Beautiful blossoms Red, pinks, yellows, frosty white Sights of delight Birds sings from the trees A symphony of delight Just thrilling my soul Summer bright sun Sprinkles of life all thru the sky Light kissing the clouds Full sun or low shades Roses peek through the sod Beauty brings good cheer Nature pops ev'ryhere Butterfly birds and bees just fly All the leaves dance in the breeze. When summer's beauty's in full view
remember that it sings our song,
the song I sang when courting you.
When summer's beauty's in full view
it seems our marriage vows renew.
This theory simply can't be wrong,
when summer's beauty's in full view
remember that it sings our song.

Deep in the woods I hear an angel's lyrical call.
Tranquil and serene, a majestic summer waterfall.
Where the oaks and wildflowers shade the creek,
reflections fall to earth from rays of destiny,
refreshing my soul and setting my spirit free.
I smell the aroma of rain mixed with the paradise breeze.
Tranquil and serene, a natural wonder and rainbow of peace.
A cascading sparkling jewel,
above a wave rippling whirlpool.
Upon the wind rides the angel's lyrical call.
Tranquil and serene, a majestic summer waterfall.

Your paper-thin porcelain skin,
I know how to get right under it.
For kicks is why I do it now.
You tell me to love but I never knew how.
Our feet hitting pavement,
We spent the day in sunny California with sun kissed skin.
I’m learning to forget and how to fade scars,
And you let me let myself down so hard.

Your paper-thin porcelain skin,
I know how to get right under it.
And now I just do it for smiles,
We’ll never see flower girls stumbling down aisles.
I’d lose my head just before that chance,
But if you want we can still have a first dance.
Cause I think I say things that I don’t mean,
Once upon a time you meant the world to me.

Your paper-thin porcelain skin,
I know how to get right under it.
But I’m trying to refrain,
To make this not all end up in vain.
Maybe I can learn to love like some people do,
And you can learn to love yourself a little too.
Or it is in all fairness to let this go?
I guess we can try but then we’ll never know.

A Summer Song

On a beautiful summer night in late June,
they dance to the rhythm of the stars and the moon.
The warm sky plays a similar sort of tune.

She's wearing a fairy tale wedding dress.
She's clothed in silk and lace.
She's the epitome of beauty and nothing less.
Love and happiness are written all over her face.
Her veil flows down from her crown.
Less is more rings ever truer when she walks through her wedding doors.
Her hem reaches delicately to the velvet covered floors.

Her groom lovingly gazes at all that's his.
At all that was once hers.
This moment is all that truly matters.
She hardly dares to breathe as their eyes meet.
His passionate kiss is ever more sweet.

She whispers to him,
"I'm in wonder of all that's now mine."
He smiles and whispers back
"So am I,"
sweetly playing his fingers against her spine.
He takes her hand in his; their fingers intimately entwine.
This is a gift of love from the Divine.
Like a bite of the sweetest kind, a sip of the most savory wine.

They take a sacred vow, a mutual wish coming true in the here and now.
A promise of old is forever told.
Something so priceless can never be sold.
Perfect hands reach out and take hold.
Difficulty most often takes shape to herein mold.
Courage steps in and takes over when the brave must be bold.
All is right again when the heart begins to unfold.

Take hold of this.
Imagine its bliss.
An opportunity one must not miss.
The one true gift.

It's a Summer Song.
It's been sung all along.
Right born of wrong.
Light became this summer song.

Summer evenings stroll on
With their melodies strong
And their playful wishes well-fed

Sunsets arrive in full glory
With a daring, keen story
Reluctant to cast us to bed

The skies blush and they croon
Kiss hello to the moon
and blossom in purple and red

It was time for the leaves to fall,
The fields to turn white,
The birds to leave for faraway lands-
And the long cold lonely nights.

Seemed like for eternity
She hadn’t had a smile -
Frozen was the world around
Lonely she walked for miles.
Dead were the blossoms in her garden,
And love was about to die-
And yet she prayed to her unseen friend -
For the summer of the winter sky!

Not a song was heard at dawn,
Only the echo of the wind-
In the misty field of corn
Not a farmer was seen!
A wait so long, so painful to bear
Left alone with no one so near
She was lost in her own reverie-
With tears in her dreamy eyes.
And she prayed as her heart cried-
Longing for the summer of the winter sky.

No one knows who heard her prayer
Lost amidst the silence
And yet an early morning bud
Blossomed in her garden!
Suddenly a little sparrow was seen
High on the branch of the willow tree
Singing a song as if to welcome-
Amidst the grey sky, a sun so warm.
And love then again knocked her door
Promising a life like never before-
And like a happy child she opened her eyes
For it was summer for the winter sky!

A sensory nerve catches a chord upon the wind
Home alone, I raise the volume ‘til I’m reeling
Fingers snapping, feet tapping, hips gyrating
Just the right song to dance as boredom sets in

“California Girls”, blares on the radio I hear!
In an instant it’s summer; I am twenty one again,
Not a care in the world not one reason to refrain
Slippers fly off feet as book is tossed in the rear

I have no care whether I am seen per chance
This song saturates me through and through
Caught up in the moment of its upbeat groove
I lose myself in youthful summers as I dance

Song soars, dawn of day,
over fields gold with hay,
sudden rising melody.
Stirring balmy air,
heavenly fanfare,
giving summer therapy.

Lyrical bouquet,
birdsong ricochets,
a soulful “blues” remedy.
Skylark, debonair,
above our earth, fair,
create joyful fantasy.

"Summer song"

Lovely Summer has come
to invite our days
to sing along
a lovely summer song

Don’t set fire to our beautiful days
with complaints
and don't roast
passions and spirits
until they burn

Behold
the pretty garden fairy is dancing happily
inviting us to dance together
there's no anxiety behind her beautiful strides
and wherever the wind takes her away
all the wonderful thoughts stay in her mind

Come and let’s think together
that a dry soil won’t see our footprints
but the pores of the land
are able to hear our hearts' voices

So better
Sweep away our complaints and doubts
And let's sing with the dried crispy leaves
with proven toughness

Let’s dance
and sing out loud
lovely summer
welcome lover
green shiny leaves
soft breezes
lovely fishes
hear our wishes
summer’s smiles
run for miles
come along
sing this song
All summer long.

Sing Angel Girl On Her Day

Angels came to play and lay a cloud of snowy white beneath her feet
As they treat her to a Happy Birthday party
And sing her name in praise and peace

Hi Girl, they would whisper to her soft and low
How lovely you look today

And she would whisper back hello
Thank them for the fluffy snow
For melting it away
So she can enjoy her special day.
Thank you for the flowers glowing blue and red

Angels smiled at her kindly and kissed her head
And blessed her hardships that make her strong

They danced in flowing summer fields so soft and long
They danced around her with a Happy Birthday wish
To have her join them in joy and happiness
To join them in a song and endless bliss

GOOD BYE SUMMER

Good bye, summer, well, it's time to go,

Good bye, summer, well, it's time to go.

I hate to rush you, but you really must go

say Good bye, summer, good bye!

Well, it's the middle of September;

I’m just tired of you and your heat.

Oh, I hate to rush you, but you can’t

stay

Repeat Refrain

Now, autumn and winter,

Might hate it if you stay here too long,

One shake and we'll part, and you'd better

get going, although you served a purpose.

Final Refrain:

Good bye, summer, well, it's time to go,

Good bye, summer, well, it's time to go.

I hate to rush you, but you really must go

Good bye, summer, good bye!

lets shout it out
lets move it to the streets
bang that car spanked-out speakers
to the rumble of the mass beat

now bass line that big crying baby
till it sounds
low and sweet (voice deep)

shake off all there inhibition
and bring them to the dance floor

now let the bass sound
take you
where you want to be

let the bass line hit you
so you can stomp your feet
(instrumental strong bass)

can you feel that rumble
and you feel the beat
bass line it up
so you don't
step on her feet

she's gone
Without a good bye
and these tears I cry
I don't know why
Finding it hard
to carry on
I still don't know
where we went wrong
How can this be
when you're everything
my eyes still see
'My Love'
I thought I just heard her say
Guess, I was remembering yesterday
Yes, I was dreaming of better days
Only God knows the rhyme and reason
we were sown together
for a season
Winter Spring Summer Fall
I'll always remember
the one I love
best of all
'My Love'
Kills me everyday
hearing those words
that I long to say
I wonder if they're
really being true
Like I was when
I said them to you
Now I know what
good bye can do
Now I know I'll be
missing you
'My Love'
I thought I just heard her say
Sometimes we'll loose even if
the choice is not ours to choose
Only God knows the rhyme and reason
we were sown together
for a season
Winter Spring Summer Fall
I'll always remember
the one I love
best of all

While Willie's "Blue Eyes Are Crying In The Rain."

Tim talked about "Back Then"
And Bucky admits "It Was A Different Life."

Toby is a "Man Of His Convictions"
But Brad is "Better On Line."

Josh "Stopped Loving Her Today"
But Kenny said "She Can't Be Anything But Mine."
Does that mean one of them will have to "Walk The Line?"

Kenny says "Don't Blink"
Or you may find Tim is "Already Home."

"Tear Drops On My Guitar" has Taylor like Lambert
"Famous In A Small Town."

I arrived "Down In The Boon Docks"
Only to find Rodney was "Going Through Hell"

Rascal Flatts hit the "Long Broken Road"
Telling my Billy "You Are The Only World I Know"

Tracy Lawrence was talking to "The Keeper Of The Stars"
And Lee Greenwood was asking "God Bless The USA"

Toby Keith was bursting with pride as he said "I'm An American"
And John Michael Montgomery was busy sending "Letters From Home"

Darell Worley asks "Have You Forgotten?"
Toby Keith replies with "The Taliban Song."

"Yee Haw" hollered Jake Owens
While Steve Holy "Got A Brand New Girl Friend"

As Dierks Bently agrees with me " Every Miles A Memory"

Kenny C. said "You Had Me From Hello"
But George prefers the "Beaches Of Old Mexico"

I saved this special song for the end.
Alabama's "Angels Among Us"

Every time I hear this song I break out in a cold sweat. Many years ago my
granddaughter Mariah in Casper, Wy was attending the summer camp, on
Casper Mountain, for her boys and girls group. This group included handicapped
children. Friday afternoon the children presented a program for the parents. It
was magnificent. The children helped the handicapped children get on and off of
the stage for their part in the program. The finally began with all of the children on
stage. They played Alabama's song "Angels Among Us" but the children all
preformed it in sign language. There was not a dry eye in the audience. A well
deserved ending to a successful summer camp.

God Bless, Cile

Soft summer breezes meander through the day,
pausing to part your hair, they wander on their way.

Climb aboard my Summer Carousel,
where dreams are sweet, reality ends well,
where moments come that lovers never tell,
Climb aboard my Summer Carousel.

Green leaves of envy sweep the clear blue skies.
The sultry joys of summer are captured in your eyes.

Climb aboard my Summer Carousel,
where dreams are sweet, reality ends well,
where moments come that lovers never tell,
Climb aboard my Summer Carousel.

Sunlight and whimsy complete the look of you.
Aglow in pastel wonder, our love is strong and new.

Climb aboard my Summer Carousel,

where moments come that lovers never tell,
Climb aboard my Summer Carousel.

Ah, what beauty around!
This day began deliberately.
Even the sky and river Neva have a same a blue colour.
Between them domes fly,
and a thin steeple rises
with a little gold ship at the top.
In the Smolny Cathedral,
the bells whisper.
On the Gulf, calm and silence prevails.
I see unearthly beauty
in the lacy lattices of fencings;
lanterns guard bridges for you,
my St. Petersburg-Leningrad!
Here, palaces have stretched wings.
Here are fountains, as if a mirage.
The architects and masters
of the different countries and epochs
have constructed the Hermitage
next to the Neva.
Delightful cathedrals,
and the most elegant Summer Garden.
This proud facade of city is the fruit of a talent,
the tears and the loving of them.
Stone lions and sphinxes sit observing the Neva.
They look mysterious, even strict,
as if they store secrets and the past of my city
in these restless, difficult days.
I see Nevsky Prospekt in flood of lights,
and the Summer Garden - the SILENCE lives there!
I see for a window of my love and memory
So many different, beautiful days!

The sun is low among the branches
Of my emerald picture tree,
And there among the leaves it dances
With the summer breeze set free.

The light then shines through curtain lace,
Which lets beams in in flashes,
Falls upon my upturned face—
Makes rainbows on my lashes.

Modest Russian flowers

Are blossoming on my balcony

In the summer:

Geraniums, camomiles, small roses,

Carnations, nasturtiums and a decorative string bean.

It is my tiny garden

Under the roof of the twelfth floor of the house.

But the sun

Every morning welcomes us,

And the charming fluffy bumblebees visit each flower.

We have no summer residence

Or our own garden on the earth.

Therefore a balcony

Is our favourite place.

Somewhere far away,

on the other side of this planet

my friends live in their countries.

I never met them in person,

But I see their faces and characters,

I hear their thoughts and fine poetry,

I feel joy and pain of their souls.

I love my familiar unfamiliar friends

And I miss them.

But soon they will send me

Seeds of their own gardens

and of their own home flowers.

How wonderful it will be –

to have boxes or pots with flowers

from each of them!

I shall look at their flowers,

To think about my far friends

and to pray this summer

on the twelfth floor, on my balcony

In a delightful Garden of Friendship.
