This pledge that l,Ntando, make today serves
as my guideline that I shall follow
happily, ungrudgingly and tirelessly
for the sake of our love life.
Indeed l am well aware of the fact that
the beauty of this pledge does not only lie
in word alone but in action as well.

For that reason in every season
I shall show steadfast commitment
to the implementation of this pledge
with a great deal of astuteness.
I therefore commit myself to be your
devoted and delivering husband for
all the years l shall live with you
on this earth.

I shall treat you with the love and care
you deserve as my wife.
Indeed l shall treat you with
the distinction and dignity
that is befitting of the queen of my heart.
That body, that bone, that breath
shall be my mine to treasure,
for sure;
a dearness to promote and protect
for dear life…and love!
I shall stand by and with you in all the
situations of our life.
If the situation demands that we sail,
sail we shall together.
If the situation demands that we
climb,
climb we shall together.

I know very well what l am getting into:
I am getting into a marriage that is
overflowing with blessings.
This marriage- with our mutual
commitment-
will stand the test of time.
I know very well what I am getting into:
I am getting into a relationship that
brims over with a transforming power
of love.

This marriage-with our
mutual commitment –
will transform naivety into maturity
troubles into challenges
pretence into practice
pride into progress
bachelorship into companionship.
I pledge to be your steward and partner
for all times.

I shall value the consultations
and decisions that we make as
husband and wife.
As head of the family I shall do nothing

to derail our love train for anything else
least of all for personal and selfish reasons.
Now and forever

I am your lawful and loving husband…
This pledge that l, Nothando, make today serves
as my guideline that I shall follow
happily, ungrudgingly and tirelessly
for the sake of our love life.
Indeed I am well aware of the fact that
the beauty of this pledge does not only
lie in pronouncements but in practice
as well.

For this reason every season
I shall demonstrate untiring love
and loyalty to you;
a love and a loyalty that is a living
embodiment of our marriage vows.
I therefore commit myself to be your
honouring, supportive and loving wife
for all the years l shall live with you.
I shall treat you with the love and care
that you deserve as my husband.
Indeed I shall treat you with
the dignity and nobility that is befitting
of the king of my heart.
On my mind it is always fresh
that I am the flesh of your flesh.
Green or grown

I am the bone of your bone.
I know very well what I am getting into:
I am getting into a relationship that
elevates me into a kingdom of wifehood.
I shall endevour to put my family first
with all the rights, obligations
and privileges that come with wifehood.
I shall endevour to wipe off and ward off
loneliness and lostness from our relationship,
seeking nothing but your companionship;
banking on your stewardship,
sinking together any hardship.
Since you are mine
I shall not do anything else to undermine
our relationship for personal
or egotistical
reasons.
Now and forever
I am your lawful and loving wife…

Gracies's Prayer

Amazing Grace, how sweet the taste
A song I dread up to these days

   Dear Mommy
Mommy, can you hold my hands?
Show me how to make God understand?
Will you hold my hand, like when we would pray,
maybe then he will listen to the words I say!
How do I ask God, If I can keep you for another day?
I promise this time to pray for you every day

Mommy, please share beautiful words before you say good-bye.
I thank you for the shoes I've grown to love and tie
What am I going to do when I want to talk and be with you?"
Now who's gonna take care of me when I'm feeling blue?

Mommy will you still protect me, when you are gone?"
Defended me, no matter the trouble I will put myself in.
You always explained the reasons why I was here.
You also taught me, how to face my fears away
Now how am I going to find my way home?
Are you still going to whisper words, saying "I'M NOT ALONE!"

Mommy why is everyone offering their sympathy?
No one compares to your supportive heart when it came to me.
Mommy, can you make the suffering stop?
Don't you know you are all I got
Mommy, I have no cure for what is in you
All I can offer is what is in me.
I want to go and outside and play, with you
Hold my hand and take me with you to the other-side.
The place you spoke of when it came to Amazing Grace.
Your new sweet surrender resting place.

*** Mom I'm here to visit you again.
A place where baskets are offered by family and friends.
Mom, can I stay here forever with you?
Hold me the way you use too.
Mom, to you I sing a lullaby of praise
Mommy, can you hear me?

                    (ending metaphor)
Digging deep into the ground,
There and only there can you be found.
One last breath shared with the open skies.
Mommy, can I go with you?

*to my mom*

Father, let me live, Help me freely give, As I have received from You, Let me thus forgive. Father, let me love, Like a gentle dove, As You have showered on me, From heaven above. Father, let me learn, To Your Word return, As You have desired for me, Let my desires burn. Father, let me know, Where I need to go, As You are my only Guide, Help me in You grow. Father, let me pray, Come to You each day, As You have taught me with love, Let me walk Your Way. 16/08/17 Syllable count: 5.5.7.5

Quiet me with Your love, Lord
The noise of the world is loud
I cannot hear
Your still small voice
Whispering in my ear…..
Quiet me…..

Hush this beating of my heart, Lord
This frenetic pace
Set by the world’s clock of madness
The strive to achieve and do
And forget all about You
Help me just to BE
Quiet me….

Rock me in Your arms, Abba
My heart is battered and bruised
Used and abused
Subjected to public disgrace
I can’t show my face
Dry my tears, Abba, Father
Dry my tears as You rock me in your arms….
To rhythm of Your grace
In the light of Your face
Quiet Me...

Sing over me, Father, sing over me
That eternal song that You know so well
The one that casts out every spell
Born in Your heart of love
That reminds me I’m a child of the King
Under the shadow of His mighty wing
Sing over me, Father, sing over me
Your melody soothes my soul
Your voice calms and makes me whole
Quiet me….

Let me fall asleep in Your arms, Abba
I need to rest
I’m tired of running around
I’m tired of trying my best
It’s never good enough for them
It’s never good enough for me
But…I never need to be good enough for you
I just need to be Me
Your child….Your Little One….The Apple of Your Eye
Let me sleep with the sound of Your heart
That beats in the Word
Lulling me to sleep…as I forget to weep
Oh Lord…Quiet me!

Eileen Manassian Ghali

The Lord your God is with you,
He is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
he will quiet you with his love
He will rejoice over you with singing.

(Zephaniah 3: 17) This is one of the innumerably beautiful verses underlined in my Bible…Yes….Oh, Yes! I need this assurance, don’t you? As a child seeks solace in the arms of a parent, we can seek comfort in the arms of God.

Abba….a Hebrew term of endearment (Daddy)

Bless me
with the fluency of fury
and the articulate voice of anger.
Spare me though,
of its affliction of aggression.

Let my pen paint
the reflection of my thoughts
like a mirror.
Thus my lines become
clones of my imaginations.

Let creativity be
the stubborn shadow
of my verses
and let not inspiration
fly out of my window.

Tonight as my baby girl started to pray
She said God it's 8 O'Clock,
And God We need to talk.
She said daddy help me pray,
And daddy bow your head,
As we knelt beside her bed.
she said God can you hear me?
Mommy always said you'd hear me,
If I would learn to pray,
And that you would show me the way.

Well God I don't understand.
Why you took my mommy away.
Daddy always says i'll understand,
When I grow up some day.
She said God, you need your son.
Well I need my mommy to,
And I know that my daddy,
Would be happier with mommy.
Cause daddy talks to her,
And mommy's not even there.

God can you please,
Give my mommy wings,
So she can come to see us.
She always kept our house clean,
And God I know,
She keeps your house clean to.
And God I miss mommy's big hugs,
Daddy says your son gives hugs to.
So I know if my mommy had wings,
She could hug me and daddy.

Well God I want to thank you,
For being there to listen,
And God think about what I said.
And tell mommy that I love her,
And God I love you to.
Oh just one more thing God,
Help my daddy stop crying.
Thank you God, Amen,
Then she turned to me and said,
Goodnight daddy, I love you.

I was still on my knees,
Beside my little girls bed,
With tears running from my eyes.
I gave my baby a goodnight kiss,
And said sweet dreams baby girl.
Then I went to my room,
And kissed my wife's picture,
And with tears in my eyes,
I knelt down to pray,
I said God, We need to talk.

Children play, and so they should.
For some, on legs, now made of wood.
As mankind fights, where love once stood.
Do you hear me? Do you hear me?

                        Prophets come, and prophets go.
In boats, they row, against the flow.
To warn, the quick, but we're too slow.
Do you hear me? Do you hear me?

It's time, we learn, from our mistakes.
To be, not one, who instigates.
And come, to know, the higher stakes.
Do you hear me? Do you hear me?

For God, sent down, a working plan.
And spread, the news, throughout the land.
To carry us barefoot through the sand.
Do you hear me? Do you hear me?

Is peace, a state, or just a word?
To be, our fate, it must be heard.
All this hate, is so absurd.
Do you hear me? Do you hear me?

It's not, too late, to bind this wound.
An angel's harp is always tuned.
Just listen and we won't be doomed.
Do you hear me? Do you hear me?

He's asking us to break his bread.
To heed, the words, that must be said.
To feed, our souls, and keep them fed.
Do you hear me? Do you hear me?

Salvation comes to those who care.
A gift, we get, when lives we spare.
Let's all, hold hands, and say this prayer.
Do you hear me? Do you hear me?
Do you hear me? Do you hear me?
                                    Do you hear me?

A Prayer for all my friends in America and all over the World This Prayer Poem is for all my friends of America and for all those anywhere in the world who are waiting for Rains.
I have made this Prayer Poem on My Photo Poem and this can be seen in My Photo page on World Art Foundation This Prayer Poem actually supports my Folk Song ‘Folk Song of India -Farmer, Clouds, Rains and Trees’ placed on You Tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukRQxnYGQwQ&feature=plcp It may be a co incident but ever since I composed and placed the above Song on You Tube the drought like conditions improved in many parts of India drastically. A Prayer to Clouds for all My Friends O Clouds full of Rains Please go to my friend's place Where ever you see the land is dry And all the fields and trees Are waiting for your showers To get wet and to kiss Your ever refreshing Rains. You bless them With your nectar like Rains So their fields too May yield grains And their forests may be blessed With your love drops To again enfold you In their sweet and loving embrace.
O Clouds full of Rains Please go to my friend's place And give them The blessings of Your Beautiful immortal Rains. Ravindra Kanpur India 15th Aug. 2012
NOTE: Draught like conditions (not very acute almost 50% less Rains this year) prevailed in India in July, but after July last it improved in August and even some parts experienced excessive Rains till 27th August. I had composed a Song around 20th July for the Indian farmers as a Folk Song and have placed it in Poetry Soup on 24th July 2012 and on my Music Channel “RavindraKK1” on You Tube as a Folk Song of India. The Song explains the reasons of fewer Rains in the simple language of a farmer telling the story of Farmer, Clouds, Trees and Rains as a Folk Song of India. Ravindra 27th Aug. 2012

center Christmas Song for Christmas 2012 This Song is a gift for all my Christian friends on the Xmas Day. Soon I would place it on You Tube also.Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year 2013 to all my friends. Ravindra You who is our savior sublime, You who made our heart so kind, Through prayer you taught us, To reach near You Through tears you taught us How to pardon others. Through Love and Kindness, You have showed us The lofty heights, Through benevolence You purified the hearts full of sins. And by bearing our sufferings On your shoulders O’ God, You taught to smile even in strife, O God, How beautifully you have taught us, To win hatred with love and sacrifice. Which way leads to the
land of green white
green?
Which way are we
heading?
   A country the wicked
bears the rulership, and
the people sighing
continuously.
   A terrible thing sprouts
beneath the sun: a
pregnant woman
delivering not.
Imps come to lime-light
by snuffing air from the
goose that laid the
golden eggs.
The blind guiding the un
blind.
The weak suppressing
the strong-a terrible
thing.
Like the overthrow of the
gods at Mt. Olympus by
the Titans.
A country where also
thieves appear as men of
integrity.
Land of green white
green,which way?
A land where the
enlightened ones are
overshadowed and
peanuts given to them.
The masses are dogs that
eat the crumbs.
 Which way to go you
Land?
Iliterates stand on
podium of power
bellowing orders as milk
of sorrow known as
dividends of democracy
is passed around.
The machine of progress
manned by the
unproductive.
"There is better
tomorrow" we hear.
Land of green white
green,my country
where rule of law walk
beside anarchy.
The proles are sentenced
to adversity,and there
endured death-like trials.
Chai! Aru! People
dancing on thorns
whimpering as they
throng
along.
I see a new sun rising
from the horizon,hope is
rekindled as its rays
grace on hopeless bodies.
 Look!! there soon be
change!

HEART OF WORSHIP I stand in worship to You my Father God.. Every Friday how you shake, stir, engulf and fill my heart with so much gladness... Once I stand there... Uncaring who hears and sees me, for all I want in those two hours is just to sing for You. allow me to tell, How I was before.. I stood like a tree just singing.. but now.. I could wholly understand and appreciate what true worship and giving praise is... My arms unintentionally.. I lift them high. I wave. I clap. even my feet I can't stop their talk. They have their own beat. I can't stop the groove. I can't stop the stomp. I can't halt the swing. Sometimes, I even hop and somehow jump. How could I not be? Must I be shy? Must I be ashamed? But NO.. no! no! no! I am not. For those very few hours, I am there and I believe You are there watching me. You alone are my audience. You alone, I like to please. You alone, I offer the hymns I utter. there are times, tears fall from my eyes as I feel Your presence next to me, as I experience Your words speaking to me I experience them serenading, winning me. They are embracing me. Your living words gradually restoring me. They are healing every ache. They are melting every fear. They are dissolving every worry. They are day by day transforming, changing me.. They are day by day reminding me of what to do.. They are in my walk, talk, actions, anything that I do. They become a rainbow fountain of hope, encouragement, strength, peace and joy. I am deeply overwhelmed by how great! How great ! How great You are to me! How I love to sing........ I know I got no golden voice.. Nor am I not so sure that I am hitting rightly the notes, But I believe.. I trust my Father God that You will see my desire.. You will see my longing.. You will see each and every thought running in my mind... More, You will see my heart, my heart of worship. (c)Olive Eloisa 11:50pm July 25, 2014

When the role is called up yonder
We will never from him wander
We will praise, our voices raise
When the Father stands before us
And he crowns his own victorious
We will sing, our voices ring.

And forever and forever and forever and a day
I shall never stop to sing this song of praises I will say
Praise the Lord God almighty Father, son and Holy Ghost
Praise to Jesus,…….my precious host.

When I stand before his Glory
I shall hear my life’s sad story
And shall plea, on bended knee
Then when Jesus says he washed me
With his blood and now I am free
I will raise, and shout his praise.

And forever and forever and forever and a day
We shall never stop to sing this song of praises and will say
Praise the Lord God almighty Father, son and Holy Ghost
Praise to Jesus,…….our precious host.

"Where You Belong"

There's nothing like knowing just where you belong
after what seems a lifetime of getting it wrong.
Suddenly all of the questions that matter
are answered inside and the doubt seems to scatter.

A peace gently falls, caressing your soul
and all that seemed broken is comfortably whole.
The clamor of cluttered thoughts plaguing your mind,
silently windswept and distant behind.

"What if I'm settling?"
"Should I hold out?"
"How could this be right if my mind's filled with doubt?"
The epiphany comes when you find what you need
is hidden inside the one voice you should heed.

A soft quiet whisper that comes from the heart
still guarding your truth while your world falls apart.
It might come through prayer or the words of a song
when your heart leads you home to the place you belong.

In the dream world where reality becomes a fantasy
And fantasy becomes reality.

The impossible is made possible and death becomes no threat. Mountains turn to a plain ground and are surmountable.

In the dream world I can do the impossible and see the invincible. I can spread my wings, soar and fly through the clouds reaching the altitude of my fortune and destiny.

In the dream world I am unstoppable and unquestionable, conquering all my adversaries. The treasures of this world are at my disposal, kings and kingdoms are my subjects.

In the dream world wishes don’t count but choices are made. That is why I have made the choice to have you as mine forever. In my dream world where there is no pain but gain, no distress but fortress, no cross but crown.

Drowning in the pool of anguish…oh…oh…
I’m venturing into the forest…and I want to hear the words seep out
Release these aching sorrows…I worry my soul’s drying out…
like a drought…
Drain out the fluids from my heart
It’s gouging me…bruising me to the core…

**chorus**
Embrace the light…embrace the midnight sky…
You fall in my arms – you die so warm
Shed me more sun to lift up my spirits
From the…underground…and release me – I’m breathless
I’m drowning in doubt…ooh… oh…

Remember me…I’m falling…into my swirling fate…hanging on the roots
Strangling my heart…distorting in my veins… I’m bleeding so softly – cut out the wood…
Splintering me…I’m shattering… and I’m falling in the abyss
Bring me more radiance from my candle light
Warp me up in bliss…don’t let the midnight sky…don’t take away my delight
From the…ocean…and save me—save me…oh… oh… I’m failing

*chorus*

I’m drowning in regret…ooh..oh…
Hit the bull’s eye in my heart…embrace the light
And don’t leave me hanging in the abyss…hand me a kite!
Save me before I fall apart…shut out the night
And don’t let the dusk escape us…

I must confess…
I must confess…
I hate to see you abandon the light…
But I’m not the one to save you from the night
Ooh…ohh…

*Chorus*

Splintering lies fill your heart
I want to kiss it goodbye…
But you’ve mastered it like a piece of art
I want to kiss the abyss and die…
Dry… I wanna touch the sky with my whole soul
But I’m failing and the end of time has taken its toll
Tainted sorrow…swims around me…I dwell where the waters depart
But the anguish still swarms in my heart…
I’m failing…my heart stops beating
And my desires are fleeting
From my grasp
And the monsters laugh at me…as I fall…

*chorus*

Embrace the midnight sky…catch me…catch me…
As I fall in death’s arms…I die so cold
And your heart is made of gold

Untangle the darkness & take away the nightmares
Answer our prayers & block out the night
Erase the heartaches & wipe away our tears
Unravel Your words of life & delight

Strong woman
That woman
Who tears behind the mirror?
Made me who I am
My hardened heart she took
Tenderized it with love
Took my salty tears
Turned into joyful tears

That woman
Who sighs behind the mirror
Sighs in memory
Memories and feelings
Hardships she went through
To feed my whole stomach

That woman
The woman pulling back her mucors
Does so in fear
Fear that ill not be what she hoped
That teared woman
Crys in fast and prayer
Crys for my dark self
Cries for my future

That woman crying
Tears down her body fluids
Hopefully that her anger and disappointments
May atleast flow out with them
Her body almost running dry by now
That woman calls upon God
GOD atleast make him better
That woman cries for me
That woman cries for her lineage
That woman cries night and day

How I came to be
To be what I am
I don’t know how
A slave of the world
A slave with one work song
A song entitled failure
The first stanza of calamity
The last stanza dead man where I am heading

Looking at her cry
Twists my brains
Is this what I am?
Is this my purpose to the world?
Is this the man the world wants?
Is this what God spent time Molding
Is this what the bible describes?
Just for her
Just for her I take my life back
Just for her God I stand strong
Just for her I say no
NO no no this is not me

Come mummy take this handkerchief
I don’t wannna see those tears again
I love you mummy

An Ode To LIFE

As I lay my head down and start to fall asleep I see myself being carried off to a place and time the place of our Lords birth in Bethlehem of Judea

As in the Bible tells the story of His life and how he lived and died in that human seance and rose on the day He told of

I do not remember being here but I remember the story I was taught so many years ago

As I walk through the streets of Bethlehem I see each scene and hear every word as I am learning the story they telling is true

The writer writes of a jealous King and his way of dealing with his people and of Mary and Joseph who came to Bethlehem to have a child

The story tells of the three wise men who saw a star in the north and heard of a child who was born to be the King of the Jews and come to see and bring Him gifts

An angel from the Heavens above came to Mary and Joseph in a dream and told them they had to leave Bethlehem or King Herod would have their son killed

So they left Bethlehem and went to Egypt and there they lived until King Herod no longer ruled

As I follow along in my dream I see each scene and hear every word as I am puzzled by the fact I understand each

I don’t understand why I’m going through this time but I know I must continue on this journey

As I am pulling through a time where I reach the place of Jesus’ in Nazareth of Galilee

As I watched Him grow and work in His father's shop I could see the thing in Him that were with me

As I walk along the streets and look around I hear the people talk of a child that speaks of wondrous love that’s all forgiving and of a Father in Heaven that’s loving and true.

Lord, a storm is raging- in our mist
Our nation suffers- with its twists
I know you see these roots of evil, don’t you?
We spend our time- getting ahead
We’ve lost sight- of the blood you shed
With hope we raise our voice with Hallelujahs
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

There are children hungry- in our streets
The population- ignores the weak
But you send your angels in their mist, now don’t you
There are murders committed -in our land
It’s time for us- to take a stand
Please hear our pleas in these broken Hallelujahs
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Reparations needed- for wicked deeds
Twas with sinful lust- evil bare its seeds
We need cleansing from immorality, please won’t you?
As we bend our knees- and bow our heads
We lay our plight- at your feet instead
Our prayers not lost within our Hallelujahs
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

The signs that you -are coming soon
Have been preached for years- with sudden doom
But with loving hands you’ll save your children, won’t you.
You’ll pluck your flowers from the weeds
Salvation winning over sinful deeds
With our faith we raise our voices in Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

With humbled heart and meek attitude
We come to you, with our gratitude
And raise our voice with joyful Hallelujahs
Salvation bought with your blood depleted
Victory was won with death defeated
Your brides await the bridegroom, Hallelujah!!
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Written for a Members Contest to write a lyric to the tune of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah”
I decided to keep the Hallelujah’s in place because I think we need to hear more “Hallelujahs” in our world today.

“Country Christmas Carol” --- dedicated to my family

by Miriam McCue (creator of flamingo art, & poetry.so far.)

We love to sing Christmas songs,
My Grandson Bubba and I.
And when we sing Country Christmas.
We almost make the angels cry.

A Merry Country Christmas
To all those great Country Folk,
And even to the City Slickers,
Who also love to drink and smoke.

We’ll take a drink for Bubba, Aunt Mike and Cousin Jim,
And hope that this Christmas,
They’ll say a prayer and sing a hymn.

Gather round the still,
Country People all.
 And hold up Uncle Bill
So the old coot doesn’t fall.

A Merry Country Christmas,
One full of country joy.
Little Willie wanted a 12 gauge,
But all he got was a toy.

It's bout to get worse
It was written in the verse
The truth hurts
ARMAGEDDON WILL NOT BE TELEVISED

When the time comes
No one's gonna hold up a sign
saying it's time to "get right"
It's gone come like a thief in the night!
Blowin' up and wreckin ish!
The war you want is the war you gone get
It was written before our time
We keep looking at the signs
manifest before our very eyes
constantly denying our right
to be one of the meek ones of our time
ARMAGEDDEON WILL NOT BE TELEVISED

We're at the end of what used to be existence
Every super power will answer to a higher power
so pray repentence
The time is closer than any distance
From Washington to Obama
No one will escape the wrath!
Hope you choose the right path!
Narrow is the gate of the righteous tracks
that are imprented on the mind of the omnipotent one
Will you be spared life on earth with the meek ones
and accurately take in knowledge of his son?
OR will you perish in the dust
never to be awakened again?
No consciousness of sin
ARMAGEDDON WILL NOT BE TELEVISED!

It's in the verses
Read it, see it, live it, rehearse it
You see the times changing
You see the minds fading
You see the world and how messed up it is
You see that nigga satan and his curses!
I pray to have a chance to live a beautiful paradise on earth like it say in the verses!
ARMAGEDDON WILL NOT BE TELEVISED

YOU HAVE OFFICIALLY BEEN WARNED

When I was young I thought I knew
How to talk and speak with you
But time has put a wedge between
My angel, conscience, inner being.
I spoke to you , I spoke to you

The one who told me right from wrong,
Comforted me all day long.
Helped me choose which way to go,
When undecided, I didn't know.
I spoke to you. I spoke to you.

Some call you Gabriel,
My Guardian Angel, I did tell,
My hopes,my fears,my dreams to be,
Untold to others was free with thee.
I spoke to you, I spoke to you.

Comfortable, believing that you were there,
To guide me through every prayer.
You had a name I knew it then,
I said it time and time again.
I spoke to you, I spoke to you

I was a child of seven or eight,
I knew when called I need not wait
For you my angel to appear
To clear my conscience and my fear
I spoke to you, I spoke to you.

The older I grew, less time was spent
Talking to you,trying to vent
Friends became closer to me,
I shared more with them and left you be
I spoke to you, I spoke to you.

Now as I'm in the prime of life
Mother to my son, no longer a wife,
I wonder late at night if you
Will answer my questions like you used to do
I spoke to you, I spoke to you

Afraid to test, afraid to fail,
Wanting and hoping you did not bail
Praying that your still at my side
To light, to guard,to rule and guide.
I spoke to you, I spoke to you.

My faith has told me you are here.
Watching me and always near.
My pride, my walls have come down
Last night,I spoke with no one around.
I spoke to you, I spoke to you.

My Guardian Angel you were there
You listened and helped with every prayer,
My hopeless feelings lonely, just me
Ended last night when you returned to me
I spoke to you, I spoke to you
I"ll speak to you, yes speak with you.

A prayer for those who are in dispair along the Gulf Coast due to the BP Deepwater Horizon
oil rig explosion. A prayer for those who waited and their loved ones did not return, Amazing
Grace Wash Over Thee.

Amazing grace wash over me.
My tears are a river to the sea.
Lord above, we know you know,
the oil that is washing upon our coast.
Amazing grace wash over me,
and lift my soul up to Thee.
Lord above, hear my prayer,
for those who are in dispair.
Amazing grace wash over me.
I lift my hands to God you see.
My prayer for those who were hurt,
and those who will never return to earth.
Amazing grace wash over thee,
families were left in disbelief.
Empty hands, their loved ones gone,
Lord Jesus, guide them safely Home.
Amazing grace wash over me,
the oil is filling up the sea,
from Louisiana to Mississippi.
Animals are dying,
and people are crying.
Amazing grace wash over me.

My prayer...I wish to be with you always,
for only you can make my heart strings chime.
Heaven on earth...my life in many ways,
from morn until ebb tide past twilight time.

For only you can make my heart strings chime;
you are my dream, the answer to my prayer,
from morn until ebb tide past twilight time,
heaven on earth is mine beyond compare.

You are my dream, the answer to my prayer;
you have the magic touch that makes me glow.
Heaven on earth is mine beyond compare;
my prayer was surely answered, that I know.

You have the magic touch that makes me glow;
heaven on earth...my life in many ways.
My prayer was surely answered, that I know...
my prayer...I wish to be with you always.

I have lived in other northern towns
with the loud noise of scooters,
of racing cars that deafened the ears,
but in this town of very soft sounds
the lowest sound is a canary
that wakes me whenever he pleases;
I simply named him," Happy "
for his harmonious chirps so groovy.

In my younger years,
it didn't matter much where I lived,
now it does; the clean street flanked
by beautiful oak trees
is the perfect heaven created by ingenuous hands
that foresaw a happy living...
and with flora and fauna enduring,
all the revealed beauty is shared in joyful moments.

Whenever another sunset approaches,
silence soothes the lonely soul in contemplation;
the children have gone home, the ravens
don't croak, it's time for prayer and meditation...

My eyes
Witness your departure
My eyes
Are dripping with hopelessness…
My eyes start to blur…
Melancholy put me under pressure…
Is there a cure to my disease?

You don’t see
The shards of hope that once brought us back together
Just let me search for safety
I’m strong enough to realize that I’m no longer
The weakest prey out there…

And I’m left in my solitude…
Do you hear me whimpering like a distraught puppy left on the train tracks?

I’m close to my demise…save me and take me home

Nourish me…and be my beloved friend

Will this friendship last forever?

Hopefully it has no end

Will this cheerful moment help us get along with each other?

Because of you…I feel the need to run
I keep an eye on you – I worry that you’ll hurt yourself again
Because of you…My freedom is nearly gone
I don’t wanna be caught off guard again
Because of you…EYE can’t picture a solution for our vexing dilemma
Because of you…eye can’t focus on my long-term goal

And I’m left in my solitude…
Do you sense that I’m giving in to failure?
And I’m close to my demise…
Only to find myself disappear…I can’t endure
The hardships that you place upon me…
Could you boost up my confidence to overcome
My atrocious anxiety?

I’m just waiting for some sun
To keep me in good hands…
To strengthen me with perseverance …
I’m just waiting until His son
Leads the world outtah Egypt and reveals to us…
His radiance…His dazzling Kingdom –
Vibrant with glee

Your undying sympathy dawns upon us
I’m overflowing with indescribable joy
You’re a candle in the night…
We meet eye to eye…
What a sight…what a precious sight

Will I have been standing on the sidelines, watching everyone go after their goals. I been missing out on the finer things that life has to offer. Seeing you there reminds me of brighter days. Hearing your laughter, reminds me of the day my dreams all changed.

‘Cause, I been blessed, wouldn’t change it for the world. Nothing sweeter than you. You’re that shining star, the beacon at sea. I thank the good lord for giving me you, nothing can change the love I have for you.

Will I have been standing on the sidelines, watching everyone have their fun. Now its later, you can see them down an out.

‘Cause, I been blessed, with having you as a daughter. You lifted my heart higher, each day I see you. You’re that shining star, the beacon at sea.

If I was a sailor, I would hurry home to you. Can’t get enough of that laughter, don’t like seeing a frown on your face.

Will I been standing on the sidelines, watching everyone reach to the stars. When I have one right here. Yes, I been standing on the sidelines.

I look at this world, and nothing can change my mind. There be trouble on the horizon, terrible times ahead. People getting hurt, always sad an blue. I put them in prayer as with everyone.

‘Cause, I been blessed, with writing these words. A pure melody, straight an narrow, they are flowing like a stream. Nine in the morning, an everything is going to be alright.

‘Cause, I been blessed, with this life. Wouldn’t to change it, wouldn’t to lose it. I would love to share, so here I sit writing these words.

Oh, I got a melody running through my head, as I write these words. Sounding like country, maybe its an oldie. But none the less, its pure straight from the heart.

Flowing like a river, steady as a stream. Let it span out there, like the clouds in the sky. Showing everyone in the world, that I got this love for them. My heart is being true, it is solid. This thing is flowing like a river, steady as a stream. Nothing rocky bout this love of mine.

‘Cause, I been blessed, with having a daughter - who is just like you…

‘Cause, I been blessed.
‘Cause, I been blessed..
‘Cause, I been blessed…

My heart is beating with upbeat delight
You astound me…in every shape and form
My spirit is dancing with unbreakable might
You surprise me…when you take my hand
And pull me outtah my jail-like dorm

And He dismisses me from my solitude…
My eyes are glistening with bliss…
And I’m far from my demise…
Only to find that there’s no need to feel helpless

Why do you spoil me rotten with your fatherly affection?

Just protect me from any harm
Let me make my own decisions…
To see the results in the long run

You prize me as if I’m cherished like your carefree child
You don’t understand – I’m TOO foolish and wild
I haven’t even reached to full maturity
But how eye hope to see myself grow and be set free
From the world’s mayhem
Is there a solution to this problem?

And I’m left with no answer…
My eyes are eager to see…another bright day
And the night is coming to haunt me…
I find myself slowly disappearing from sight…
When will God give me a purpose to fight?
When will He feed me His awesome might?

Just support me…especially during my downfalls
Please answer my calls!

And I’m left to venture off into His path…

Eye can’t escape my terrible nightmares
Consider my calls of acceptance…my grief weighs a ton
Let me pour forth my tears –
Do me a favor and cast away my fears
Steer me away from disorder and confusion

Eye can see you’re making great progress
You’re heading towards a brighter, superb future…

My eyes
No longer witness oblivion
My eyes
Looks beyond the earthly pain…
bEyOnD the affliction

I spot a rope in the distance. . . . .

Push aside the waves…and let me
Grab it this instant!
God feeds me His love…and treats me
Like a newborn infant!

Eye see my Father with brand-new eyes
I feel rare content
And I feel hardly any resentment

Eye
cherish
that
REMARKABLE
moment

Lonely life in the city
Same thing day in and day out
Subway, trains, planes and cranes
Needing a change without a doubt

There’s more to life than this
So everyone always says
My knight will come one day
Yeah, someday I will be his

He has the kind of hands
Strong and firm you see
Longing for him to take me
Mend me, caress me
Healing hands, heal me

I see him everyday
Lunch time at the corner diner
Staring out the window
No one could look the finer

Daydreams as I watch him
Oblivious to my yearn
He goes about his day
When will it be my turn?

He has the kind of hands
Strong and firm you see
Longing for him to take me
Mend me, caress me
Healing hands, heal me

So as the sun sets
On my life without love
Will I ever, ever have
That man I always dreamed of?

And as I close my eyes at night
Whispering as I dream
I say a prayer to God above
Only he knows what I need

He has the kind of hands
Strong and firm you see
Longing for him to take me
Mend me, caress me
Healing hands, heal me

He has the kind of hands
Strong and firm you see
Longing for him to take me
Mend me, caress me
Healing hands, heal me
