There's a breed of Aussie hero who has served this nation well
and they don a yellow uniform to face the fires of hell.
When day temperatures are soaring and the high winds blow a gust,
and our bushland is ignited it's in them we place our trust.
Yes, you're all somebody's daughter and you're all somebody's son;
you are mothers and you’re fathers. Hard hat heroes everyone.

When their mates are in the hot seat and they need a helping hand,
they will volunteer their services from stations 'cross this land.
Whether country towns or cities or a bush fire brigade;
they will gladly throw their hats in and will offer their mates aide.
Yes, you're all somebody's daughter and you're all somebody's son;
you are mothers and you’re fathers. Hard hat heroes everyone.

Do you owe your home or property, your very lives perhaps,
to the selfless, sincere efforts of these bold fire-fighting chaps?
Or still sadly you lost everything, but proudly can attest
to their fierce determination as each brave soul did their best.
Yes, you're all somebody's daughter and you're all somebody's son;
you are mothers and you’re fathers. Hard hat heroes everyone.

So I ask you all to join me as we stand and raise a glass
to the courage and the spirit of this fire fighting, class;
and I'm sure you'd love to join me as this message we impart,
"You're such true blue hard hat heroes and we thank you from the heart."
Yes, you're all somebody's daughter and you're all somebody's son;
you are mothers and you’re fathers. Hard hat heroes everyone.

Obsessed with the thought of you
wondering if it's only me or
if you sometimes remember the sweet things you've said
and if you meant them how I took them
or if I'm just obsessed with what's in your head

Obsessed with your very sentences
Every response I take personal
I know it's selfishness
Have you not noticed my eyes?
They hold secrets that only you can unlock
if you'd just take time to fill the thick juices of my pride
It's just boiling with lust, passion, trust and distrust
and other things I obsess over so much

I find myself writing to free myself from this prison I've created
where only you and I reside
I become confused about what I'm really feeling inside and I
try to rid the thoughts that are highly debated as false and I
begin to cry and
think of casting love spells so that the universe can deliver this affair
I know it's unfair
but I don't care

I'm obsessed with what hasn't happened between us
I'm obsessed with your heart and that the fact that
I don't think you've even noticed my selfish innuendos
and secret undertones that blatantly express my lust
Or maybe you have and you calmly remain in resistance of distrust
If you could only read my mind by simply touching my fingertips,
I'm sure I'd catch you out the corner of my eye biting your bottom lip
I'm obsessed with the passion and thoughts I think you have
Obsessing over an experience that I may never have....

How far can you fall and get back up
How high can you jump
And keep your feet in the sand

To touch grace and fall from within
Next to you I was out of my skin
I missed you yesterday and you leave tomorrow

A life spent in the shadows of lushly tint
Smoke your waves
Exhale the freshness of your menthol scent
Home is what you call shelters that need no defense

I’ll send
You’ll say goodbye
I’ll send again
You won’t reply

If love
Is the appreciation of another’s existence
Then goodbye
Is the anticipation of seeing you again

You and I, we’ll cruise the shores
Together we’ll settle with the wind
The joy of a small hut, a lovers den

You’ll send
I’ll wonder why
You’ll send again
I will not reply

Inspired by one of my favorite bands, Rise Against, and the song is called,
“Ever-changing” (Acoustic). Please listen to this song if you don’t know of it. It’s raw &
powerful.

“Have you ever been a part of something? That you thought would never end. But then, of
course, it did.” –Rise Against

“I fell in ‘Like’ with you”

With her smile
I melted unto oblivion’s redemption
Candy coated perceptions, windows’ gap
Seeping brilliance refreshment

Uncertainty resolution, polished
Absorbed into closeness sun
Yet these eyes still…see
Butterflies taking notice, missing you…as you stood in front of me

Strong, yet soft legs
Foundation of my face to rest upon
Scars…fading
A cremated sin

Yet, elongated moments of silence
Created abruption’s new face

The face of change
When she turned to me and said
“I’m not sure, anymore”

Emotional lullaby, rocking me to sleep
New battles with spectral flashback
Trying to get under my skin, a drunken tick facing demise

Phoenix’s sunrise, rejuvenating my recycled defenses
Yet, today, these rays just aren’t bright enough to burn sadness away

And with these sounds of storm clouds & Fall on horizon’s breath
These grounds are so familiar, yet bittersweet
This heart doesn’t want to be enlightened by karma today

It wants to be held for how it shines now

Denied…distance wins again today
Slavery whipped punishments in miles and blocks
This must end

Because I try to keep lines open to get a call from you
Yet all I hear are booty calls with busy signals

And yet something has kept me here too long
But can they leave me, if I’m already gone?

Something has kept me here too long
Karma’s laughter

But, through it all, I will shine

…

How I wish my mere presence can bring joy’s tear to her eye

Sadly though, now, the lines are drawn
Yet I wonder if this feeling is gone
Have the best parts of this…come and gone?

…

Maybe I’ll never know the truth

Perhaps she was misguided by jealousy’s deprivation
Deteriorating heart’s splendor

While I fell in “like” with her

Perhaps “Better Man 2.0” appeared from Cloud 9’s fallacy

While I fell in “like” with her

Perhaps
She held onto the past

As I, drawn to waterfall’s edge
Allowed myself

To let go…and F

I want to be inspired to write
    a song people really want to sing;
I want to be inspired to compose
    a requiem for the King;
But, I’m just an ordinary man
    doing the best I can
        at writing poems
            that have no homes.

I want to be inspired to find
    a cure for this cancer thing;
I want to be inspired to reach
    out for the golden ring;
But, I’m just an ordinary man
    doing the best I can
        at getting by
with the good old college try.

I want to be inspired to lead
    a revolutionary coup;
I want to be inspired to be
    the best at everything I do;
But, I’m just an ordinary man
    doing the best I can
        to make ends meet
and not live on the street.

I have the motivation;
I’ll put in the perspiration;
I can give it concentration;
But, I lack the inspiration;

Inspire me.
What will it take to inspire me?

I want to be inspired to write
    a song people really want to sing;
I want to be inspired to compose
    a requiem for the King;
But, I’m just an ordinary man
    doing the best I can
        at writing poems
            that have no homes.

How I admire the lyrical poetess!
She, who watches nature's beauty all around,
yearns to feel the wind of summer's soft caress
as she listens for the magic in its sound.

When she sits to write in peaceful, quiet hours,
from her realm of thought spring forth. . . pretty flowers
She plucks up each bright blossom, then sets them free
as blooms of the lyrics in her poetry.

(This is dedicated to my lyrical poetess friends at soup, of
whom there are more than a few!)

I've Scribbled This Song For You...

I'm wasting my days,
my empty nights too,

I should have held on,
but I simply lost you,

now I stagger along,

wearing broken smiles,
in between hell and you,
there's a million miles,

yes, I should have kept,
you close to my skin,

soaking your warmth,
but you were laughing,

at my foolish grin...

now I'm all broken,
and torn apart,

but what the hell,
I was always late,
for the tolling of the bell,

and now...

now I stagger along,

wearing broken smiles,
in between hell and you,
there's a million miles,

so kiss me now like you once did,
I'm tired of being so carefully hid,

la laa laa la laa laa laa...

(repeat to fade)

NOTE: I have placed this Poem as a Video Poem also on
http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/profile.php?id=100001219732381

[ This Poem is dedicated to Freedom of Expression
and Tibetan Dharma Guru Shri Dalai Lama to support
his struggle for the cause of Freedom of Expression ]

IMP. NOTE: Now the Poem cum Song "Take Me Away but..."can be heard on my Radio Air Play Radio Station of Radio Jango.com in 'Ravindra K kapoor Radio'

Take me away but I promise to sing a Song

Take me away from such a place,
Where feelings and emotions,
cannot be freely expressed.

Where new thoughts and ideas are crushed,
By the rod of power and corrupts.

Where mind do not get the opportunity to reveal,
its vast sea of beauty and varying colors.

Where love never flies freely in the sky,
while touching the unexplored lofty heights, and
wings of Poetry are nipped in the buds,
before they bloom and spread their smiles.

Where wind do not flow,
while touching the flowers and buds,
Where the butterflies do not have the freedom,
to show their varying moods and colors.

Where faiths have lost their grandeurs and glow, and
shrines are converted into suffocating barracks.

Where love has lost its magic of moving a heart,
to sing a song and dance on the call of its soul,
Where a vast sea of humans live,
without the freedom of expression.

Take me away from such a land and place,
Where people live in chains under iron curtains.

I promise I will come back to this land one day,
when the breeze will flow freely touching every heart,

When its people will have the freedom to fly on their wings,
I promise I will come back, to such a place one day,

When animals too would move without fear in their hearts, and
birds would be free to fly anywhere in the sky.

When the morning dew would greet the new rising Sun,
By glittering without fear, its silver and golden beams,
When flowers and buds would freely spread,
their alluring wings and fragrance in the air.

When the human mind would be free to explore and express,
its ideas and colors on the canvas of paper.

I promise I will come to such a land one day,
to Sing the song of joy and mirth.

In life to get by, I really do try, very hard to live by,
the old fashioned ways, of how my daddy lived his days,
He often told me not to lie, and when he caught me, it made me cry,
and I still remember him say, son you'll be ok, tomorrow's another day,

Then daddy told me about the war, the first time he wrecked a car,
and of how it made him cry, when some of his friends died,
Then we looked up in the sky, and the whole world felt like ours,
staring high up in the sky, I just wished that we could fly,

Being young, I asked dad...why?...why do people have to die?
Then I heard him sigh....and say....my oh my oh my,
and he looked me in the eye,
as I yearned for his reply:

Son, people are dying without....and dying within,
with no way out.....hunger starves a friend...
Death is much about, bloody wars that never end...
The whole world, no doubt, suffers from serious sin,

Then we looked high up in the sky, suddenly a shooting star went by,
and the whole world felt like ours, as daddy told me about the stars,
Then I listened to him say, son...tomorrow and everyday...
let nothing stand in your way, and you'll succeed in life....OK.

As I place the pen
on paper
my soul beings
to bleed
upon the pages
my secret longings
hopes and dreams
of which I hope to be,
how I want to reflect me
transpire into the universe
within my poetic lyricism
the warm sweet smoke
of my vega blunt
swirls about me, flickers
in and out of motion
as the vanilla candle nearby
fights the shadows in my room
the cool summer breeze
from my window
carries dancing sinsemilla
fog around me, allowing
my mind
to adventure elsewhere
into the nights abyss
of minutes, turned to hours
I write
pages, of words
scribbling my life, struggles
and fears
Bob Marley and Lauryn Hills
“turn your lights down low”
beat inspirational peacefulness
on my eardrums
my small hands delicately pluck
my imaginary guitar strings
as I join her in a solo, Miss Hill's
magical voice cracks
with emotion, and my soul
tingles with excitement
For creativity flows
within my veins
I breath real music, such as
she, as soon as daylight opens
thine dark brown eyes to see
The poetic flowetry, carries me
and speaks to me
the notes capture my inner
disturbance and desires
until the soundtrack of my day
takes me into Summers night
thoughts of my dreams
of being a published poet
clearly float
into my sight
Then, I sit
as I place my pen
upon the paper
black and white turn to one
and my soul bleeds
onto pages
into an early sun

Drumming along on steering wheel
And dashboard, to rhythm and beats
8-track drowning out giddy squeals,
Till butts plopped down in venue seats.

The buzzing crowd was everywhere
All walks of life surely present,
Deluge of Tie-Dye and long Hair,
Smoke wafting thick, the oddest scent.

When all light vanished, cheers ensued
As silhouettes shuffled on stage,
Anticipation…all eyes glued,
Mind numbing sound, coming of age!

They’d rocked our years, and now this night
Fans singing each memorized word,
Dancing, laughter—our teenage rite
Of passage, forever conferred.

Ten thousand flames, begged one more song
Two mega hits offered instead;
Then bows before worshiping throng,
Ended the show, farewells widespread.

A melody from yesteryear
Plays softly on the wind--
A mix of myrrh and honey,
A wistful sweet and bitter blend.

Fond memories of bygone days,
Of long departed friends.
Of hollyhocks and lilacs,
A reverie that never ends.

A vision of a one-room school
Set in a woodland glade--
Of children playing joyfully
There in a spreading oak tree's shade.

A farmer toiling in his field
Behind a horse and plow.
No air conditioned tractors
As modern farmers do it now.

A rustic, weathered, country church,
A Sunday morning bright
Glows fondly now in memory,
Bathed in nostalgia's hallowed light.

A barefoot boy with fishing pole
Beside a lazy stream.
A song in perfect harmony
Played in that golden summer dream.

Oh memories, sweet memories
Locked in my soul to stay.
Oh melody, sweet melody,
A haunting song of yesterday.

There are legends I've heard, old songs in the dark
of the old folklore tales, and the old gypsy trails,
where traveling caravans of rugged old wagons
still echo, with longing, in valleys below...

Where each treasured belonging,
was packed in a hurry
all the stories, all the worry, all the heartache would travel
all the sunshine, and the sorrow, celebrations to marvel
and dreams of tomorrow, were kept on the road....

The trail was a friend, and the loam was their home
Their needs were quite small,
They didn't expect, to be wealthy or rich.
All the riches they had, were scarce and so few...but they knew
that happiness could be the sun on your back, or a sky, wide and blue...
Not much to expect, and not even respect...
would be theirs to be owned.

As the twilight would come, under a red setting sun,
with the fragrance of loam, and the tired walk done...
they would bed under trees where the heather was strewn
they would burn a small fire, and prepare a warm meal,
with smoke in the breeze, while the whippoorwill's song
and accordion tunes, would drift by the face of the moon

On their heels was the dust, in the noontime sun
They rose with the dawn, and the gold of the past,
wearing the colorful hope of tomorrow's new task
Working wherever a meal, and dollar would come
Then moving again with their band until dusk
over, and over and over again...

Some called them tramps, or small petty thieves
But the heart of the matter, was the love of the sun,
the love of the life that came from the moon,
from the stars, and the grass, and the rust of the leaves

For those who encountered, and who gave them a chance
could learn many things by watching them dance,
and learn many things by hearing them sing,
and pay close attention to how much they knew
that fortune is something that comes from inside
It comes with the pride, of knowing what matters
The tattered, lost life of the old gypsy tribes ....
might be the saddest of stories, or loneliest song...
                    a song that has faded,
                                that has dwindled and died....

I've been a lot of places in this land,
From sea to shining sea.
There's a place in the hills of Arkansas
That means more than them all to me,
A little wildwood church where people meet
To praise the Lord above.
They don't have a lot of money,
But they're rich in a thing called love

You'll see a friendly smile upon each face
The moment you walk in.
They'll make you feel so loved and right at home,
That you'll want to go back again.
They will pour you out a cup of kindness
And hospitality;
Then they'll take you home and feed you,
And they'll treat you like family.

You're always more than welcome;
There's no lock upon the door.
There's preaching and singing and praising the Lord,
And they know what the altar's for.
Don't look for a grand cathedral,
Standing proud and tall;
It’s a humble little church, beside the road,
At Ben Hur Arkansas.

So much I wanted to say. So much I wanted to shout.
It was like being trapped behind bars without a way
to get out.
My mind going wild with all these questions of why.
The only way to escape was to fall asleep or to cry.
What did I do so bad that made me have to pay?
My friends, my dreams, and my life was swepped away.
I know I can do it! I try and I try.
Nothing seems to get better. I sometimes wish
I would Die.
Starved for attention. I wanna talk to the world.
I just miss being loved. Miss the warmth of a girl.
Snickers and stairs is what my life has become.
I'm treated like I'm a kid, like I'm sick, or I'm dumb.
One day to the next. Life becomes work just to be alive.
I thank god for my blessings. I thank god I survived.
I finally see some improvement. More hope tickles
my brain.
It was worth all the time, all the tears, all the pain.
I awake with a smile and new hope to move on.
I did it! I did it! All those hard times are gone!

                            I
I woke up this morning with tears in my eyes,
your face was in the morning paper;
they shot you dead like a dog,
hunted you out all day and night.

                            II
They said you'd always been a bad seed
and youths were dying because of you;
they said you're a criminal on the run
with a dirty face and shaggy head.

                    (Refrain)
But I know you better than they do,
you preached love to all the people;
you fought for them, young and old,
you lit up their nights with your heart.

                            III
And now as I see you lying dead,
it seems my dreams have vanished as well;
they can call you names, any names they want,
but I know there's only one like you,
there's only one like you,
there's only one Che Guevara.
              (Repeat Refrain)

You lit up their nights with your heart,
you lit up their nights with your heart,
you lit up their nights with your heart.

Invisible ladies! You see them ev’rywhere,
In sensible raincoats and Margaret Thatcher hair.
Standing at bus-stops, watching the bus go by:
Waiting at crossings,
Letting the traffic splatter mud in their eyes …

Invisible ladies, all in their “middle years”.
Invisible ladies:
No hopes, but so many fears …

   SO polite! So ladylike!
   Just don’t mind us, don’t make a fuss … Wouldn’t be right …
But deep inside, there’s such a rage …
You’ll catch it too, this vanishing plague
   Called MIDDLE AGE!

Invisible ladies … shopping bags all akimbo:
Moving like zombies, each in her private limbo.
Pushing a trolley at ASDA or Sainsbury:
Examining prices,
Searching for bargains – ever more desp’rately …

Invisible ladies, choosing the longest queue …
The one with the baby:
Babies, they’re visible to …

   SO polite! So ladylike!
   Just don’t mind us, don’t make a fuss … Wouldn’t be right …
But deep inside, there’s such a rage …
You’ll catch it too, this vanishing plague
   Called MIDDLE AGE!

Invisible ladies! When somebody barges by,
Instead of complaining, they always apologise!
They oughta get angry, and maybe get pushy too:
Say, “HEY! Look AT me!
See, I’m a PERSON, really very like you!”

Invisible ladies, everyone knows one …
They live in our houses …
You probably call yours “MUM!”

Nikan is a man who once stood proud and true all across this land
in symbiotic relation with nature endowed by the great creators hand
passed onto him by his ancestors to never take more than his fair share
and always be kind to this land for it’s the Mother to all whom she shall bare

When times are lean we all will grow thin together for together we are one
with one voice to sing in harmony for bountiful harvest to our Father the Sun
and give him thanks and praise for warming and making fertile our Mother
who blessed new life into the birthing seasons for every Sister and Brother

Great spirit hear my song of hope that I sing for my people who will cry
we are mighty on the earth give us protection or your children they will die
and our people’s blood will flow upon our Mother like deep rivers of raging red
O’ Father I can see no solution will you spare us from the white mans dread

I could never make claim to imagine this great man’s woeful sorry or despair
Nikan's song is a lonely tune played for the spirit of his people upon the air.

Came from California, looking for a place to fall:
Portland’s good as anywhere, and now it’s best of all;
Learned to love the roses, and the rivers full of rain;
California drove me north, and Portland drove me sane.

Leaving all my memories back behind where they belong,
Sang a song of roses, and I let it make me strong,
Lifting up my life inside my hands to make it grow
Tall as any mountain rising mighty in the snow.

Sing a song of roses,
Dreams of me and you,
Portland love encloses
Dreams of me and you,
Sing a song of roses.

Gentle people welcoming you, with an open hand,
Mighty people not afraid to fight to keep their land;
City on the river floating ships from overseas;
People soft as roses, people tough as Oregon trees.

Been a long time coming, but I’m here to rest awhile,
Never mind the highway, never mind the weary mile;
You and me and roses, and the salmon in the streams;
Can’t believe were thriving, Portland rain has washed our dreams.

October speaks of death, I hope now she can rest,
And lay the soaring bird on down.
Underneath her clothes, only herself she loathed.
We've seen this done before.

Together they manifest their cause, ripping with their claws,
Tearing flesh and bone.
From the shame inside swelling at her sides,
She broke herself on stones.

And the monsters say "There's on her to blame,
With many heads we only think the same".
When no words of solace leave our lips,
I can tell you the world will end like this,
Under the Eclipse.

All around they slayed and left where she laid
To bleed out all her wrongs.
And now that she's gone, over with and done,
Her memories all they play.

She can show you how people lose their sanity.
She can show you how the world has lost humanity.
Those who turned their eyes, this has only you to blame.
To console yourself you say "Oh what a shame".
I can tell you how the world will end like this,
Under the Eclipse,
Under the Eclipse.

Wool across my eyes,
Shields me from this life.
Every single thread
Coating what they said.

Every drop of rain
Lights a candle in
Memory of the one
Who burned for others fun.

She can show you how people lose their sanity.
She can show you how the world has lost humanity.
Those who turned their eyes, this has only you to blame.
To console yourself you say "Oh what a shame".
I can tell you how the world will end like this,
Under the Eclipse,
Under the Eclipse.

Where is the sun?
Where is the sun?

The power lines stretch across the sky
moonlight makes a shadowed place uninviting
as a blinking street light
has trouble making up it's mind
what's a daydream called if it's late at night
apart but we're currently immersed in
the atmosphere of a city breathing it's vibe
I'll meet you there
if you'll remember the same place the same time
and looking above us
the power lines
stretch across the sky

papa said
son what you going to do
with your life

now that you have
no money job
or wife

he said papa
I'm going to
leave this town

think I'll
join up with the rodeo
and break them bulls down

Maybe even rope
me a stallion or
even a clown

Son you better
take another
look around

for theres no money
for bull riders
thrown to the ground

or being stepped on
by a horse or bull
weighing over eight hundred pounds

Papa I promise
Ill make you proud
of your rodeo cowboy when I'm done

And promise
not to be thrown or bucked off
to the ground

So papa please come
visit when our show's
in town

for I'll be
the one riding high on
the biggest bull that's found

hanging on for just
eight seconds while I'm
listening for that bells sound

just kicking those sides
of horses and bulls
jumping up and down

with coming out your
top rodeo champion and
bull rider found

Adorably cute
in my hand-tailored suit...
searching for my Cinderella missing her shoe;
among the prettiest faces, someone will stand out
with eyes that are somewhat blue...
and running into a handsomer guy,
it won't discourage her from finding her delight...
hiding behind others without the perfect alibi!

Come out of the loud crowd,
beautiful one...show every apparent charm:
the delicacy of your womanly gesture;
and I'll reach out in kindness,
to subdue the fears of your first encounter!
Come out of the dim shadows,
incredible one, and accept my dance...
a request from my eager lips;
think of where we'd be tomorrow indeed,
when everyone has left and we ecstatically breath!

All the glamorous girls on the dance floor,
drinking heavily and laughing hysterically,
can't be compared to you; and what I'm looking for
is not just another amazing beauty,
but that certain winkle of shyness and more ingenuity!
Be that Cinderella missing her shoe, looking straight at me;
letting me gently slip it on,
so that this tender moment can become reality...
before our memorable, romantic night is gone,
and we'll remember nothing more than fantasy!

(Verse 1)

This cannot repeat or loop around anymore, in my direction.
I've had the wind kicked out of my sails, due to depression,
and everyday
I hide away
and I'm not displaying
the fight that I'm saying.
I'm down inside and sink,
I'm more flipping down than you'd think.
Lost for love and lost for laughter,
facing up to my fears always ends in disaster
with anxiety.

So I'm always down and doubting me.
A desert there's a drought in me
while rain downpours are drowning me.
The logic's leaking out of me.
A mist hides the positivity
you find in creativity.

From an infant right up to my last rhyme thinking I can't do s**t
life devours me,
I need to shake that habit,
cus in rhyme my talent's apparent so I won't bow out cowardly.

I'm wasting my worth,
but have a thunderous thirst,
to rediscover some turf.
Watch me now and you'll witness,
as I drift with the surf,
and wet the earth,
of this desert,
as I p**s on the dirt.

You just heard
now watch and observe.

Sung to the great single: "Loves Me Like A Rock." from There Goes Rhymin' Simon. (1975.)

(Half heard :)
The camera's got to be rolling, man. It's got to be rolling... Gospel Chorus: “ Ahhwoo…
Well, I'm running, yes I am. (Running, yes, he is!)
And I'm asking all of you. (Asking all of you.)
Now tell me, are you? ( Are you?)
Are you better than you were before? (Much Bet-ter than before.)
My opponent's had his chance. (He has had his chance.)
And I'm here to tell you straight and true
He's failed you. He's failed you.
He'll stand there and say I'm wrong
But you all know that I'm right (Yeahhh.)
It's got to be so plain and simple
That he's wrong. (Ohhh, he's wrongggg.)

So, let me promise here and now (promise here and now.)
That I'll do what I say I'll do. (Promise what I'll do.)
For I tell you people, who does (Whooo.)
Who does he think he's fooling? (Who does he think he's fooling?)
He'll tell you everything he's done. (Everything he's done.)
But if you care to look up his whole record
There's just nothing. There's nothing. (AAAhhh...)
He'll argue and scream and plead
But you just know that he is wrong. ( Ahhhh.)
The facts and figures tell his story.
That's he's just wronggg. (He’s wrong, he’s wrong.)

And if I should be elected now. (Yes, elect him now.)
The minute the people call my name. (People call my name.)
You know that I hear you! (HEARRR.)
Hear every word you're saying! (Hear every word you say!)
Just ask for anything you want! (Anything you want!)
Because I'm just a town hall a-way from you.
I hear you! I hear you! ( Yeahhh!)
I'm eager to preen and please
Because you know.. I'm here for you! (Yeahhhh.)
I represent the people truly,
I hear you! (Hears you, yes, he does.)
You all must know that I can hear you! 3x (Hears you, yes, he does!) 3x
Hear you every day and night now.
Hear you, yes I do! (Oh yes, he does!) (Repeat in staggered cadence and FADE OUT.)
(Insert Howard Dean yelp or yelps here!)
Hear you, yes I do! Hear you, yes I do! Whoop!
Hear you every night and day, now, hear you! Yes I do! (Repeat and FADE OUT :)

She lives on the edge of town
she wears a second-hand smile and a faded gown,
She spreads the love around
but at night when she cries there's no lovin' sound:

She's got a lot to give
There's a whole lot of life that she has yet to live,
She wants to make them see
All the fools walk around, but so blindly:

Who is she to talk?
She still hasn't learned to gracefully walk,
She admits, she's got a lot to learn
and with every mistake, comes the after-burn:

They've got a lot to say
and the stones from their mouths bruise her everyday,
She feels a lot of hurt
No one can see her clearly through the dust and dirt:

The fault may be her own
by now she's built a fortress from those sticks and stones,
she's suffered broken bones
but what can soothe the pain when it's your heart, alone?

By now, she's flown away
like the birds she was waiting for a sunny day,
what have you left to say?
You all stood by and simply watched her colors start to fade:

She's now the setting sun
smell her sweet fragrance when the day is done,
She's not the only one
We were taught to stand strong
but we all learned to run.

If you’d like to know a psycho
Then come along with me
And I will paint you a picture
Of the psycho of the east;
Not your ordinary psycho
She’s a new breed;
On your emotions,
She loves to feed
A life led by drama
Driven by any cost
Never any remorse
For the lives that she lost;
A new person each day
Her characters she plays
Are really very bright
She has the brains,
But absolutely no insight
Not a clue to life
She will always walk blind
Drugs, sex, money, hate
Mess with her and get a court date
If her games you want to play
Then a hefty price you will have to pay
But I did not back down from thee
The cost for court is just a fee
But in order for me to defend my rights
Then in this court we will fight
In front of the bench
She against me
Who will be found innocent?
And who will be guilty
But oh to her surprise
And time after time
Cases are dismissed
And we’re wasting too much time
The fight gets ever brutal
As children are involved
Anything to hurt us
Driven at any cost
The emotional abuse
And brainwashing galore
Left me with wanting to stop her
But then I wanted more;
Not a mother on earth
Or none that deserve to be
Would ever treat their children
As evil as she
Other people maybe
Ex’s without a doubt
But the way she scared them kids
Made me want to put her down
She tortured them with mind games
In court she likes to play
But when she challenged me
She surely woes the day!
The psychos challenge was accepted
And I gladly played with glee
For every claim she made
My defenses came in three
And when she’d exhausted all lies
And stories had all been told
Out of the defense corner
I came standing bold
My evidence against her
Could make the whole city see
That this woman is psycho
And from her all should flee
Dangerous and venomous
A hazard to your health
If she can’t beat you in court
She’ll threaten you with death
I don’t take the psycho lightly
I know she is serious as can be
But as long as I’m around
She’ll have to get passed me!

You see her smile, and she seems alright.
But what you don’t see is that she is crying inside
You think if she is sad, why doesn't she shed a tear?
Maybe showing emotion is her biggest fear.
She doesn't want people to see something is wrong.
All she wants is for people to think her heart is strong.
She doesn't want to know what others might say,
If she just broke out in tears one day.
Just remember what goes up must come down
And a smile can easily cover up a frown.
This girl, if you cannot see,
Is no one other than me.
