A Serious Case of YOU

Trembling feet, weak in the knees,
Fever set to boil these seas.
Poor little head, its splitting ache,
The sweetest pain i’ll ever take.
Tummy churns, this feeling burns,
And waves of awe do take their turns.
A pounding heart, I feel it too,
Now this malaise to me is new.
Quivering voice, sweaty hands,
This immune system stands no chance.
It’s killing me, I tell you true,
I’ve got a serious case of YOU!

If you are serious, I am stable

Hello my special someone
You seem nice to know
If you are serious, I am stable
And am willing to give this a go
I haven’t seen you around before
Is it your first time here
If you come to find we’re in a happy place
You will be someone I’d want near
I know we are not sweet perfection
Hey what’s perfection anyway
If you work out to be nice enough
I’d want to hold you; everyday
We can lay upon the grass
And look up to the stars
To me that sounds like a lovely plan
And I'd say how beautiful you are
Sparks may fly like fireworks
But we will never know
Unless you decide take my hand
And are willing to give this a go

Getting Serious

I wonder:
Can I look into your eyes and mean it
when I say that knowing you
will make me never long for another?

Let me say (instead?):
There is (with you) a greater degree
of contentment and commitment
than I have ever allowed or enjoyed.

I could say:
My love for you is focused as logic,
giddy as champagne, warm as a hot tub
and bright and burning as a laser.

More honestly:
The strain of love’s a medley of changes –
no lullaby, but a rising, swelling dedication,
that bridges to an unwavering march.

Surrounded by elaborate and colorful pageantry
that winds a route completely impromptu
for which we are totally unrehearsed,
our hearts, drumming within the cavalcade,
synchronize to the parade’s harmony,
while we hold each other in steadfast step.

Serious talk

“You know, I wish it were winter now
So that I could feel new and happy”.
“Update your page and you will be fine”.
“Oh, again you don`t understand me”.

“If I`m waiting for you, will you come?”
“If I don`t come, will you stop loving?
Tell me, please, am I your only one?”
“Oh, again you don`t understand me”.

“I love you, my fool. Do you feel it?”
“I need both your soul and your body”.
“You told me that we must stop dreaming.
You know, it`s a little bit hurting”.

Can’t you believe me, sweet pie?
You are my one single Moon.
Most charming glow in night sky.
I must hide all evening stars,
coming in life and passing by.
                          But seriously I say,
I am loyal, loud not shy.
