J e s u s - The Senryu Style

~Jesus~ (Senryu) Jesus died and rose He did for sins of this world Our hope rest on Him. Dorian Petersen Potter aka ladydp2000 copyright@2013
April.16.2016 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV) -“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 (NIV) - Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer Romans 12: 12 ( NIV ) -The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” Exodus 14: 13 ( NIV ) “Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.” - Mark Twain ~Author's Notes: The "Senryu " (also called human haiku) is an unrhymed Japanese poetry form or style. Happy Easter everyone !

Easter Story

an innocent man
nailed to a wooden cross--
darkness descended

Jewish leaders cheered
the Nazarene was dead--
Sunday's coming

early Sunday morn
women found an empty tomb--
death no longer stings

risen from the dead
our Savior conquered the grave--
spread the good news
